Also the drawback of discovering a _beast_ is of course that the beast tag usually comes with a price and that price of course is lower stats, BUT as the expansions keep rolling, it seems like the price of a beast tag is lowering further more making this card better.

I love these cards, possibly the best thing ever added to the game.

Tomb Spider was the absolute MVP of my beast druid deck. Extra savage combatants or getting a malorne was always sick, as well as having a good card you can play on 4, which beast druid has had a hard time with.

Was playing druid yesterday and heartharena gave tomb spider a 64 which I thought was low, so I went to icy veins and they also said it was average because "the slowness of the body can lead to you falling behind against players who have faster drafts". It traded with shredder, and I got to chose what pops out of mine (essentially), so was pretty happy with the outcome.

krip you missed the most important part that this card gets you infinite value because you just keep getting tomb spiders from it so you can never run out of cards

One of my more succesful decks is a beast hunter that just runs lots of beasts and ways to keep up my card advantage so I can have more beasts! It's a fair lot less facey and the burst can be pretty insane.
My favorite thing with tomb spider is drawing more tomb spiders from it :P I got a four spider stack once, tho the last one was a web spinner instead XD

Are you talking about constructed because if so, well that's stupid logic because every class has removal, Paladins don't even have fast removal, if you're talking about arena, well big cards are still good

I really like using it in Midrange Hunter. Most class beasts for Hunter are very useful, but you can also get a clutch Taunt or Silence to save you.
