Good job on bending the aluminum. The heat shield came out very nice. Just as a cautionary note aluminum can fatigue over time and the vibration from pushing the car could cause cracking at your bend points. Although not super likely it is something to keep in mind and you may want to check it every once in awhile. Keep up the videos your doing a great job!

Yoo you helped me get into the drifting scene with my second car (300zxTT) with these vids. I never grew up around cars, but I decided I had to start somewhere. Every little thing I can learn betters me in some way. Keep up the great work!
Hello! Could you do the video about how to install in line filter for steering wheel or atm, Oil catch can. my car doesn't have easy access to atm filter. so I found that some guys install a in line filter between atm and transmission radiator to partially cover filtering question. Thank you! Your videos are awesome!
That test tow was pathetic. A real test would be to put the rear wheels in a ditch, lock the parking brake, and then pull. Just be prepared for that strap to pop lose and take out your truck's back window.
That is how all of the SN95 Mustang owners attach the tow hooks. I thought the same thing but they told me they have been yanked out of the mud and sand with no problems from the front. Unfortunately, there is not frame on the mustang. it is a unibody design. The front unibody isnt thick enough until the engine k-member which is pretty deep into the car and not realistic to tow from.
UA-cam needs more people like you man, great video. you are talking about everything you're doing well. and you're doing it how it should be done, step by step. i need to get to work on my foxbody and get out there. you got a new subscriber and thanks
One of the biggest problems with Mustang performance is that these cars are notoriously light in the rear end, given that and the power to weight ratio I don't see drifting as a problem at all.
Hey chris, i have a 69 chevelle i got off a guy last year, and the engine is horribly dirty. Oil is all over, and i want to know what your best advice would be for cleaning it? If you want i can take a pic and send it to you some how

that trailer hitch will also add some rigidity to your frame
Make the trailer your self!

Because it's a tiny bar of steel just bolted on to the bumper with four bolts.

+Crysis Contained I've never heard of a welded diff failing. a LSD is more likely to fail than a welded diff.
A diff that is welded properly doesn't come apart and is strong as shit. Good welds are stronger than metal
OG Japan drifters almost never use a welded diff
Welded is the only way to go. My new LSD got cooked in 2 events of hard driving/drifting.

Wow solid job love how you removed all your bumpers at attached the tow hooks.
By the way how did your reattach your front foam before the bumper?
If you put on the bumper then you could not get to where you put the foam
Yoo you helped me get into the drifting scene with my second car (300zxTT) with these vids. I never grew up around cars, but I decided I had to start somewhere. Every little thing I can learn betters me in some way. Keep up the great work!
Hey chris, Are you going to be drifting with an open differential? You should probably swap it fora limited Slip differential
This car has an LSD stock. It is a GT.
really?? I didn't know the GTs came with a LSD, my v6 has an open diff :(
BTW, you will do awesome drifting! :)
Yea the GTs came stock with an LSD. Thanks a lot man!
Hello! Could you do the video about how to install in line filter for steering wheel or atm, Oil catch can. my car doesn't have easy access to atm filter. so I found that some guys install a in line filter between atm and transmission radiator to partially cover filtering question. Thank you! Your videos are awesome!
chrisFixs put a drift kit on it
That front tow strap will rip out of your bumper. It needs to be mounted to the frame.
Haven't you watched the video ? He even tested it himself.
That test tow was pathetic. A real test would be to put the rear wheels in a ditch, lock the parking brake, and then pull. Just be prepared for that strap to pop lose and take out your truck's back window.
All I hear is pointless grumbling.
Ya, that front hitch would rip right out if it needed to pull the cars weight up an incline while stuck.
Thanks a lot and welcome aboard!
I'm 12 years old and this is entertaining to me! Hahahha
+Mj Yumping I'm glad you are enjoying the videos!
Mj Yumping Ike same too! Very entertaining
Is that a Fiesta in the background, Chris?
Yes
We love Chris fix
Nothing like a Chris fix video in the moaning
I would say you are my #1 Famous Car mechanic on UA-cam!
Thank you!
i somehow can't imagine this car drifting
Check out his instagram he uploaded a short vid there last weekend of his first time drifting.
Why not? I had a v6 Mustang with a 5 speed and she went sideways on command. Chrisfix owns a v8 with a 5 speed, you do the math!
One of the biggest problems with Mustang performance is that these cars are notoriously light in the rear end, given that and the power to weight ratio I don't see drifting as a problem at all.
lmao..... me too! im so curious
first off why would drift this
You are going to need coilovers before you hit a track. You'll have way too much body roll
Hey chris, i have a 69 chevelle i got off a guy last year, and the engine is horribly dirty. Oil is all over, and i want to know what your best advice would be for cleaning it? If you want i can take a pic and send it to you some how
He has an engine supercleaning video.
No, i havent seen one on his channel
cover up any electrical/the airbox and use degreaser and small brushes plus a hose
Usually it's not the Oil pump. It's almost always the Rod bearings and Crank Bearings clearances have become much larger and loss of Oil Pressure.
I will be doing that video very soon! Stay tuned!
Chris although I have a chevy cobalt ss I still enjoy watching your videos because you show us not to be afraid to take on projects and your explaining about everything is on point! Keep the videos coming!
what abut the turbo install?????
