- What is it really like to have a project car for one year? I show you how far my drift car, the DriftStang, has come with a new fuel pump, supercleaning, and ebrake, to coilovers, exhaust, and angle kit! All of these modifications were done in my driveway with common hand tools! I also show you how much better I am getting at drifting! Adam LZ also drifts my car which was a lot of fun!
Every DriftStang Video is listed, in order, here (day I got it, fuel pump, cleaning, coilovers, etc): • How to Build A Drift C...

Good job man
Thanks a lot Eric for all the continued support! I cannot believe how far I've come and you guys are all to thanks!!!
ChrisFix do you still have the stock parts of the car driftstang
I hear you. He's come a long way since I met him when he was just getting 1,000 views a video. I was thinking. He's way better at this than that! I'm proud of him!

One of the most inspiring youtube channels out there. I say this because i had no interest in engines or the mechanics of a car until i watched your videos. I have now researched and learnt more about cars in the last week than i ever have thanks to you. If teachers taught students the way you produce your videos kids would be better off
That’s awesome!!! Glad to hear it man!
ChrisFix you should get the driftstang snow camo
Inspiring that was the word that came to my mind first. It is great to see that you can do mods on your car in driveway with common handtools. Hope this year is finally the one i start my project car.
So right. I would win at life if ChrisFix was my teachers.
ChrisFix YOU SHOULD GET A 2JZ
I mean let's be honest here. Chris is really a non-hateable guy. I cant think of a single reason anyone would want to hate on him. He's really entertaining, and helpfull! Thank you, Chris!
You can tell Chris actually cares. I haven’t seen any UA-camrs still check the comments on 6 year old videos. These are always fun and informative, keep it up!

When I was in highschool last year I took an automotive class and the teacher would always play these dumb generic videos on how to fix things so one day I said "you really gotta play some Chrisfix man he'll even teach you something". Every class till the end of the year we played 2 Chrisfix videos at the beginning of class. Keep doing what you're doing 👊
Haha that is awesome!
ChrisFix dude keep up with the good work you inspire me to become a mechanic and customize my own car
Wait, you got a class in high school about CARS?
I got stuck with dieting and exercise as homework...
Lucky! All I get is boring ass wood shop classes.
Brianna May dude thats awesome. Wish my teacher did that
This vid is 5 years old now. I remember watching this 2 hours after it came out
That’s awesome!
I love these videos on the drift stang, i have a 2002 v6 mustang with the 5 speed too, which i learned to drive stick on as well, but the cars are very similar in most aspects and watching your videos inspired me to do more of my own customizations to it, I put in a fiber optic headliner kit like in the Rolls-Royce, a quick release steering wheel, and im working on the shifter today! But i love these videos and the inspiration you've shared with countless people and the positive energy put into the car community and how you show that cars and working on them isn't really as ominous and hard to do as it always sounds, obviously i havent been able to do as much on my car but thanks to you i have a whole list for once i get the money for the parts. :) keep up the great work man!

We don't know each other but man. I am so happy for you.
Your achievement is an inspiration.
I think your subs were as excited as you were dude. Like watching a good buddy make strides. Glad you're out there.
Thanks a lot!!!!
I love your videos so much! Once I got into cars I was so scared of my car- meaning doing things myself to my car. I thought it would be impossible to fix things myself and was always so bummed because it’s so expensive to get things done professionally. One day I decided to look up how to paint rims at home- just to see if it could be done. I found your video and have been watching you ever sense. I’ve learned so much and I’m no longer discouraged from doing things myself with my car. Thank you so much and keep doing what you do cause it’s amazing!
it's really amazing to see how you've improved, I've watched the video 50 times and I'm still amazed, great job💪
You have a great attitude. You deserve every subscriber. Your parents must be proud.

Dude this is so awesome. It reminds me of when I was building a Track day car! From stock, I slowly started modifications to further enhance the cars' performance. What a nostalgic video! great job man!!!
Thanks a lot man!
I love your channel, and I hope you are doing good. Drifting is hard, and I have mad respect for you.
Crazy how I was here when you first bought the car but never subscribed and now that the year is over, I find myself back in your channel. Def. subbed this time

Everyone: Fights fire
*”HEY GUYS CHRIS FIX HERE!!!”*
Settle down there we got this
Torque it down to 451 Fahrenheit and add some medium-strength heatlocker. Perrrfect!
Should of used soapy wooder and A micro fibre towel to clean the grease/oil/and fuel out of the engine bay to prevent fires in the future when your cleaning make sure to turn the cloth frequently and when it has lots of dirt and grime on it when it gets all greasy you don’t want to clean it just throw it away out with the old and in with the new perfect do this until it’s thoroughly cleaned then oh man does that look good not only it looks good it will keep you safe and hopefully prevent the risk of a fire I hope this video was helpful if your not subscribed already please consider subscribing to see more content like this stick around and STAY TUNED!!!

All i can say is your channel is such a help and super entertaining too. Your videos inspired me to buy my first car and build it for drifting, a 2001 s500 Mercedes with 300hp and rwd. The saying "the cheapest Mercedes is the most expensive Mercedes" was never more true. First, my coolant needed a change and I did it with your video. Then my belt was squeaking, and sure enough you had a video for that. Then, my heater core was acting up and you had a video for that too. You've saved me at least a couple thousand by now and i can't thank you enough
I aint even lying, I’ve watched this video about 5 times now and i come back every few months because this video is just one of those videos that dont get boring however much u watch them. Great video!
You've brought that car back from the dead. Amazing stang friend
The fact that your Check List has Super/Turbocharger makes my heart sooo happy.
Good!
Not sure if he will need it or not, it could change the handling of the car a lot, and make it harder to control, seems very stable now, but who know some forced induction might make it better.
ChrisFix, before you wrap it, hood swap and bumper swap would make for good content.
Smoky, 199hp is never enough. The drift is all the better when you have the power to accelerate into the straightaways out of the bends.
Smoky Considering that the standard for most drift cars is between 500-700 hp. In Formula Drift i don't think there's alot of cars under 1000 hp.
Been here since you got the driftstang, I since then got my own project car which would soon become a driftstang too! You have been helping me with my issues on my car!
I’ve been watching this guy since 2016 plus this was my most favourite project he inspired me to start repairing stuff
The anticipation is killing me! I can't wait for the new mods!!
Haha I cannot wait either!
No crowds were harmed in the making of this video! Thanks everyone for an awesome year! Got some crazy cool plans for this car, and some other cars coming up! Project Night Light Re-Lit is happening soon and much much more! Stay Tuned!

Am really close to install a new body kit..aftermarket radiator fan assembly..120 amp new alternator upgrade..new radiator, hid lights kit for the head lights, also aftermarket rear and front headlights..and full body paint jpb.?then ill be done..i think!!!!?😂

The Next big step for you Chris is adding more power to your drift car - which I think is the only thing missing, I would say once you add this it will be an absolute weapon both for the crowds and for the track
TheMach1ne_ the power should come later.. when he's much more proficient at drifting.
TheMach1ne_ yeah that is gonna be the supercharger
thats the supercharger and i think he is trying some throttle body spacers too
in reply to you guys just by looking at the car in the slide, you can see its having difficulty losing traction in the slide, so yes I can't wait to see the difference the supercharger makes! Would also be good to see a new trans like straight cut gears or a dog box
throttle body spacer cant actually make more horsepower, if it did they would have designed the intake manifolds to be xyz longer
