Great chart thank you. It's based on Bernouli equation, I ran it on one datapoint. Even at 30 PSI I managed to pierce a container roof, with a size #4 nozzle and a 32 CFM compressor (equivalent continuous run).
Would the 60 gallon 5hp ingersoll rand 18.1 cfm @ 90 psi be able to sand blast good? I’m trying to put into perspective what I can sandblast with that? How long would it take to do one wheel of 18 inches? All 4? Currently I have a 60 gallon 11.5 cfm compressor. My blast cabinet is the Eastwood b60 7cfm @ 90 gun. Just trying to figure out my best option here. Any advice and knowledge on my setup would be greatly appreciated. This is a hobby. I plan on sandblasting dirt bike parts, quad parts, and wheels for vehicles. Thanks!
That Pressure at No.5/16 I.D. Nozzle Chart which shows the cfm requirements, it is important to note this chart is for a Pressure Type Media Cabinet System ( Note the high pressures listed starting at 50 ) and not for a Suction Type Media Cabinet System ( i.e.. The type that about 90% of home DIY's have in their home garage/shop ) If you have the common Suction Type then the cfm requirement using the common 5/16 I.D. Nozzle and a 5/32 I.D. Air Jet would require only 20-25 cfm compressor utilizing a true 5-h.p.230 volt motor. Likewise if you have a 6 cfm capacity output compressor running 3-h.p. motor then you would use a 1/8" I.D. Air Jet.
A compressor with 150 psi capasity using two blasting pot connected with the same compressor Can i get more than 90 psi nozle pressure or not If not which one i neex to use ?
Planning to add a sandblasting service in my shop. mostly will use it for custom car rims. what do you think about this air compressor : Air Compressor 20 hp 15 kW Tekanan 12 bar / 175 Psig Volume 350 liter In/Out 3/4 Inch 1.840/65 Liter/min Is this good enough or should I get a bigger power machine. TX
The music was fine, the narration was fine, the two together really took away from the video. Maybe the music could fade out on videos as you start to speak, it would really help.
I tried calling your company for advice and was hung up on 😕 tried calling back thinking it was a mistake and nobody would pick up the phone disappointing.
Swwmwd professional except for the horrible audio editing adding the cool cliche rock music behind the dialogue the entire time distracting the person trying to listen the whole time. Yeah I know you got that from so cool tv car/truck shows but they have experienced professional editors that do way more to the audio track than just add a low volume audio track. And when it comes down to the important nitty gritty of the talking they will kill the music Learn to edit or just stop trying too hard.

Hi. How many HP your compressor have?
Sweet, Monday Night Battle of the Blasters on ESPN
what kind of compressors are these things. 126 cfm at 90 psi. thing must be the size of a building.
Hahaha totally right! It almost requires a Tesla Gigacompressor
Where'd you get the music it's sick
They are both actually the same height. Or, they used to be. The guy on the right had the optional deluxe 2.0 neck extension installed.
Giraffe edition.
5/16" ... 3/8" .... I know you dont like the SI system but is this chart available in SI too?
I don't get the Compressor HP numbers being so high when most compressors are using less then a 5 Horse Power motor.
I totally agree with you. Just was searching for the same info. Maybe this is possible to reach using a screw air compressor.
This chart is mostly aimed at diesel powered compressors that can deliver way more CFM that 5HP compressor that most of us have in our garage.
2 academics that have never "actually" used an air tool...

If you are only doing rims, buy a cabinet with a good reclaim unit (Like Empire Air-Blast)...Use a media that can be used for many passes...
Bigger in TX!
Noise(music) is distracting
No answer of this, minimum what bar compressor need for sandblasting.8 bar.10.bar 12 bar ?

exactly very annoying
Can’t hear over the music soooo aggravating
Coolness 😎
All that work to produce a video that garnered 121 thumbs up and 26 thumbs down after 2.5 years. Such a shame!

The dude on the right has a super long neck.

@@Bhatt_Hole I miss your mom she is a dirty girl

It is so distractive music that you do not want to continue watching.
