PLEASE do not stop making videos!!! i see you have slowed down a lot... and I'm sure that you have something like a life going on, so I don't mean to blindly accost you with guilt about it, but this is the first video of yours that I'm watching and I just love the way you talk about the notes and accords... I can tell you have done a lot of hands-on work with these scents and it's just wonderful the way that you share and express that. I am really infatuated with perfumery, and the way that it mimics music how you build a melody; marry that with the fact that smell is the sense that is the most connected to memory? Please, this is a psychology-art. Don't leave us!!! I'm marching on to watch as much of your videos as I can digest!!!! Thank you so much!!

Oh wow I thought when an ex boyfriend wrote me a song and sung it to me that it was the best gift ever but to have a guy take the time and actually make a perfume just for me, well that’s just the most beautiful and loving thing anyone can do. I’d treasure it forever. I’ve seen professional perfumers say it sometimes takes them up to a year to create the most perfect perfume for them. That’s awesome

Can’t thank you enough I already have so many things that I bough since perhaps two years ago, and until I learned the dilitoution lesson two or three days ago from this channel I was would never know why most of my creations smell the same. It’s because of these very strong notes that no matter how little I try to put they would still overwhelm or stay present. In fact I now see that investing in a good scale right away is a must I always counted drops This very lesson ( this video ) is super informative you made me see that I can one day create something to be proud of.
I can get some essential oils from the Middle East and North Africa for much less that the prices you mentioned here but I’ll see a way to try and buy me a full kit of your recommenced hand picked choices because I been watching you for a few days now. And I can tell that you put a big effort into choosing these particular ones. So I’ll be taking a Great Leap Forward if only I can get me this whole big kit of today’s lesson
I was just thinking why not store every thing in a dedicated fridge just so I keep my bottles with pipette I just order them yesterday as soon as I realized I must dilute but I’ll be a good student and follow your instructions to the T

Man, thanks so much for putting this together. I saw that you have newer videos on the same topic, but I just wanted to mention that this answered a lot of the questions many videos on other channels just plain didn't.
I'm building a brand, and once that brand is significantly large I'm going to use that as a platform to launch subsidiary brands like a fragrance one, so this has been really helpful with considering different levels of preparation that'll go into being ready for that once it's time for a launch.

I just bought a number of these materials and some random ones I wanted to try. So excited to start blending things together. This was a really useful guide, but it was difficult to pare it down without any real reference point. I ended up getting a couple from each category, then subbing out some of the more expensive stuff... Like tobacco absolute is pretty pricey, so I got hay absolute instead because I always thought a Nicaraguan cigar had a musty hay smell to it. I'd like to see what you'd buy for under 300 dollars material cost, like ultra beginner stuff.

    • @bkscents7050

I have hay absolute...and to me it doesnt really smell much like tobacco absolute. it has its purpose...but if you want tobacco alternatives, check out TOBACOROL which smells like a cedar chest that held cigars in them.....or TABANONE which has a spicy tobacco twist

I was really desperate to find a hobby I really enjoy as I tried many before and I didn't expect I will end up into perfuming, the funny thing is that by reading a novel talking about perfumes I got really addicted to it without realizing I start imagining myself doing it for the rest of my life and the adrenaline thing just hit me lol. I'm so interested I cant wait to make my first perfume

Hi there, agreed with you that it's an expensive hobby 😃. Me too spending money buying materials. And it's not enough, increasing day by day. Loved ur honest feedback. Why I have chosen this hobby is, last time I wanted to gift one of my friend perfume and I have noticed that could not get a decent perfume in my locality. Then I have started researching it. Thanks dear💕
