I am searching through all these video's of "how to play" and no one actually explains "how to play" they explain Character Creation, which is not playing, that is set-up. In attempting to play I just miss, miss, miss, miss.... how do I actually PLAY? I'm standing next to my target and lacerate says "no target." Another thing to note for new players, is that the ability scores only have benefits in even numbers. Here's what I mean. 8=-1, 10=+0, 12=+1, 14=+2 and so on. It's not necessarily "bad" to have odd numbers in a couple stats, because you can choose to improve your ability score (at specified level per class) in a couple ways. You can either put +2 in one score, +1 in two scores, or elect to grab a feat instead. If you want to plan out your character's progression, you can always view D&D 5e class content and see when you get what. There will be some discrepancies between the tabletop and the videogame; but it's few and far-between.
Why would you play several levels with 15 score ability when you could respec just when you hit level 4,8,12 and then add it proper, more often than not even gear adds that one point to m
First thing that came to mind as you talked about Wizards vs Sorcerers (specifically the "Stronger vs Flexible" and that Sorcerer's can extend their magic range) all I can think of is a Sorcerer quoting Garrus' "We, ah, ended up holding a tiebreaker in her quarters. I had reach, but she had flexibility." line when talking about an encounter with a wizard XD -(Even 'reach' fits since ya mentioned Sorcerer's can extend their magic range)-

You should never multiclass early because you miss power levels, for example you start level 4 to multiclass next level is level 1 in another class which is hampering to say the least. You will be crawling with weak starting spells right through mid game, it doesnt benefit at all when you could get higher tier spells in original class. If you want to multiclass do it at level 8+ or later so you can allocate majority of points into one class and get some bonus from another but even then you wont get level 12 feat (automaticaly if you multiclass) or level 6 spells if you spend too much points on 3 different classes.
I'm in the opening area running through sphincters with zero clue. It's weird you can't even wasd run. There's a girl who I wanted to break out, but no way to do so?

It's weird. When I attack, I don't roll anything. It either hits or misses. I really want to enjoy the game but even on easy, I get my ass handed to me.
What did you mean by “multi-classing gets introduced later in Act 1”? Is that true? I was hoping I could multiclass at level 2 right near the start of the game
I added a text correction at that part. Multiclassing is available from the start as you say, and i mixed it together with Class rerolling. Sorry about that :)
