@@Astraphenex Here’s what I think. Maybe they are considering to canonized/rebooting Command Mission story and make it into MegaMan X9 timeline which takes place like few weeks after the Jakob Project incident instead of taking place in a far distant future like the normal Command Mission version. Then they would tweak the gameplay style into 2.5D just like MegaMan X Dive style. Or even they could turn it into an action-role playing with various interactions between characters in combat, including the addition of the "Boost Strike" feature, allowing multiple party members to perform destructive attacks together under certain conditions, which is similar to Tales Of Arise gameplay style. New storylines, new lore within the characters like Colonel Redips and Signas are actually brothers, Colonel Redips and Spider are separate characters this time, Marino has a connection to Sigma, as he was the one who killed Marino’s family, thus seeks revenge against Sigma if he ever returns once again by finding a cure to the Sigma Virus according to her background lore. Epsilon being the ultimate creation of Sigma, thus he decided to continue his master’s legacy. So many things can be done. Then add new bosses, more stages, returning characters like Vile and Dynamo who are working for Epsilon, etc. Heck, they could even use Colonel Redips to become the leader of the Neo-Repliforce army and Iris - Another - as his loyal right-hand woman to fight against the new Maverick uprising and the self-proclaimed as the new King Of Maverick, Epsilon, and his army. Should the player meet the requirements for the Best Ending, the gameplay will be extended to further progress the story, the Neo-Repliforce army appears to be the true culprit of all. Colonel Redips is the final boss but he has “something up his sleeve” and attempt to use his “final card” by calling out the “Maverick Emperor”. Of course, what is a MegaMan X game without the infamous and mightiest Sigma himself? He then returns after the defeat of Great Redips, by being “summoned” out by the fallen Colonel Redips, using the power of Sigma’s remains and the Supra-Force Metal, then the Sigma’s remains from MMX8 manages to take Sigma's form into a more powerful devilish form through the remains itself, albeit not-so complete form, claiming that the Sigma Virus and Supra-Force Metal will once again make him whole. Sigma then proceeds to brutally kill Colonel Redips. And so, the tradition of the true final boss in a MegaMan X game continues. In the future DLC, taking place in the Elf Wars, making Dr. Weil as the penultimate boss and Omega as the final boss of the DLC.
This was actually really well done and interesting. I like that the custom sprites remembered that X's buster is usually on his left hand. Axl's sprites were also really well done and suit the 32-bit style. Awesome.
Pretty good animation, and come to think of it, actually sounds pretty plausible to explain X's change in appearance for Command Mission. I think I now have a new headcanon.
WOOOO FINALLY SOME COMMAND MISSION REPRESENTATION!!! In all seriousness, I love the spin off so much and X in that armor is my all time fave. I’m happy that I discovered this
@@RodsRetroplays oh it doesn't matter it a game or not I just want animation like this and more beautiful story about X I like your animation please don't stop keep making more .
Those custom sprites are so cool I'd wish they put up certain sprite sheets on the Spriters Resource page on Mega Man X custom sprite list, well since there's already X and Zero's expanded sprites and not to mention a PSX styled Axl sprite on the page only Alia, Signas, Douglas, Layer, and Palette is missing
canonically speaking, the command mission timeline takes place between x7 and x8 right? Can't be before x7 because Axl was introduced in x7, can't be after x8 since Axl got infected with the virus... Or maybe it is indeed years after x8 and Axl has just recovered from the virus or something. But then again, we don't see any of x8's navigators or what happened to them, although there is no trace of Sigma... Idk.
Command Mission happens long after X8. In fact it replaces the events of Megaman Zero 1, and that's official information from the game's artist Ryuji Higurashi.
the reason they wont is probably because command mission is a spin off game that can never even be canon. ^^; Interesting idea though. i'll give your other stuff a watch, and support a fellow MMX fan. :p
@@GalexGonz97_ Yeah, because of Megaman X6. Beat the game as Zero, Megaman Zero happens. Beat the game as X and the timeline goes all the way to Command Mission. As stated by the game's artist, Ryuji Higurashi. He also says CM happens in the same timeslot as MMZ1

The concept is cool. But Idk tbh. As far as canon goes. For one thing x has taken alot of damage idk how he almost died from that one shot. This is stil fine on it's own. The action however is what I live for and takes me back to flash animation days. Very good. I would be fine with just alot of hunters fighting Mavericks video lol I forget where I heard this but this armor was for x to be able to use the suptaForceMedals or whatever
But X did die from a cheap shot beam to the chest before, back in X5, but it's not like he was damaged beyond repair in either situations. And as you saw, the events in this video happen two months before X is sent to Giga City, I also didn't like the idea of the player finding the X-Heart item in a random save room back in Lagrano Ruins. So I decided to integrate it into the story.
@@RodsRetroplays sure. But that shot was from a sigma/and or wily machine not a standard ass enemy. Dedass. Well that's my only complaint. Regardless its fantastic video.
