It's cool I still get to post something after so looooong. :) Back before I thought of making a patreon or monetize youtube so I can have financial support to work and focus looooong months on this animation hobby. However, it would be complicated and risky, I didn't pursue that. Still I would like to create more videos but as much as possible I'm just casual with what I do here. I prefer to work on something that won't take too long. Remastering this is going to be TOUGH but since HD Remaster X vs Zero Decisive Battle 2 turned out great, I think it will be worth the effort. :)
For me, it was when Zero got back up, smashing open the rocks around him and going HAM on Omega. The images of all those hes met up to this moment appearing next to him always makes me tear up.
I too got some tears.... It reminds me not only of the nostalgia,, but the fact that some of us exist to help others. They may not deserve it, but it's the right thing to do. Some of us must be a light in the darkness, because one candle can light many flames.
Would be awesome if I can also remake my other fan animation drama tracks. I don't like my old animation(The Legendary Reploid) very much so I remade it for this. T_T I remade only the conversation with Ciel and Zero though. I'm happy with how it turned out hopefully, I would still like it after years. Originally on the 2011 version, the guardians won't be present and it will be a handdrawn animation 4:04 , however I can't draw that time. I still kept the guardians on this remaster however.
4:45 I noticed how much shockwaves the water has each time Zero lands a hit on Omega. Such a cool detail that emphasize how much force and motivation Zero has behind his saber swings. So cool!
Fun fact: In Megaman X1, in the intro stage, after X says he isn't strong enough, Zero reassures him by saying "I know you can do it." This is reflected in X's final words to Zero at Z3 and X tells him "Zero, you can do it"
12 years later, a masterpiece is remastarered... a moment of silence for all those who aren't here to witness this. On the other hand, dammit I feel old.
12 years....12 freaking long years i seen the first one and now remastered HD. I can't believe we are all here watching our childhood memory. Love you animation and don't stop making it. We need more people like you.
I just got done playing the remaster and I wish the remaster actually had a small section where they were fighting as equals before handing us the control. It would have been so cool
Imagine being depressed for so many years and living to see both the Original and Remaster. I saw the original way before depression, I then started watching the original every night I was down and depressed in my early 20's. Late 20's the worst things happen to me and I get to see this when I need to. Got me in tears. ultimatemaverickx you are a blessing in disguise. The way you capture Zero's internal and external battle in one fight. You really played the games. You really get the story. I come back to watch this at least once a month if not twice.

I know it's an epic action video, but the transition from 4:43 to 4:59 brought a tear to my eye, how to see Zero running and in the background are the members of the resistance so that when arrives against Omega, the background changes to Zero's dark memories, but as he says his phrase, that background of dark memories breaks to reveal the true reason why he fights,For the people who believed in him!
3:30: That entire sequence where Omega decides to stop messing around. Pressing forward, tanking hits, and splitting off slamming Zero was peak in the original. The enhanced visuals and fluidity of animation put it over the top.
It's been a long time... and this fight is still a masterpiece Edit: Holy shit, the added corrupted subtitles of Zero's speech and the new animated parts are so awesome, in particular the scene where Ciel tells Zero he is already the real one in her eyes showing him with his original body. CHILLS
I'll always love the original so much, but this was wonderful. It flowed so well, and the effects were so warm. The addition of the animation of Zero and Ciel meeting worked so well, and the distorted dialogue of Zero trying to remember his purpose was brilliant.

It truly is a Christmas Miracle 😭 Absolutely loved the additional dialogue from Zero from 3:23 and it finishing what he said at 4:56 after finding his true conviction. Remebering that the real Zero is the one that stands with the beliefs of the original, not just the shell of the original. Such a good choice to move the dialouge from after the battle to during it! This + the updated visuals and the other added details like from your other animations is such a treat to see, this was SO worth the wait!
It was truly a privilege to witness this incredible remaster -- going beyond just enhancing the battle sequences also are scenes and animations added that compel the heart: Zero and Ciel's bond and connection really shines here as a sparkling light that radiates in Zero as he does battle to prove himself under his own terms. Exceptional work that goes beyond merely just applying an HD frame by frame recreation of the older work. I can't praise your efforts enough. Truly a transcendent and touching all-out presentation! 😊
This animation perfectly encapsulates what makes the Zero 3 final so memorable and amazing, the sheer emotion of what Zero's power is to be used to finally revealed in the climax + the animation of Ciel and Zero's first meeting really got me so emotional. This animation is such a classic, I remember first watching it and being obsessed with it, watching it repeatedly over and over. It’s nice to see a return to it
The part at the end where Zero busts out and has the old Zero aura around him. The music and the situation and all just works so well. You did the entire hero battle perfectly here with him being on the back foot, X being hit, everyone else being splattered, then Zero just busts out to save the day and X joins him to finish the job. I love how you've added a lot of extra blasts to X fighting Dark Elf in the background (when he's in the energy ball form), too. I loved the original so much, and this seems to be even better! :D

Of course, all the little things you added make this better than before, but this was already a masterpiece. The extension of X helping Zero, Zero remembering when Ciel awakened him, the lead ins to some of his saber swings to add more impact, that slow walk up while blasting Omega, and X's final monologue... my god, this is true art

I just had the sudden urge to come back to watch the original for the memories, and found that this was so recently remastered. I’m so glad there are still MMZ fans out here.
I hate to, but I keep feeling like that 13 years old adolescent that had become a huge Megaman fan by then, and had discovered this film along with the amazing Zero saga.
Man, tears were shed on this remaster. Adding in your old animation scenes into this decisive battle was a really great touch. Anytime i see that original art in the zero/zx legacy collection, where both x series and zero series zero are clashing, i am reminded of this decisive battle. Only really small nitpick is i think it couldve been better is if the last shot of megaman zero 3 is added when he says "I am Zero"
From watching this for the first time in high school to being 31 and Married I never thought I would see a remaster and enjoy it as much as I did as a kid. Thanks so much for the memories and the new ones
Nice seeing you remaster one of your most iconic divisive battles beloved by the rest of the megaman community. Which perfectly symbolizes the battle between the original soul(the Zero we know) and the original body(the Zero Wily wanted), along with the fluidity of the animation because of the 60 fps, and with some added effects and spritework help makes it stick out more. Just in time for the holidays.

Of course, all the little things you added make this better than before, but this was already a masterpiece. The extension of X helping Zero, Zero remembering when Ciel awakened him, the lead ins to some of his saber swings to add more impact, that slow walk up while blasting Omega, and X's final monologue... my god, this is true art

This was always one of the best Megaman fan animations before, now I think this is probably THE best one of all time, I love it
I just had the sudden urge to come back to watch the original for the memories, and found that this was so recently remastered. I’m so glad there are still MMZ fans out here.
I hate to, but I keep feeling like that 13 years old adolescent that had become a huge Megaman fan by then, and had discovered this film along with the amazing Zero saga.
Man, tears were shed on this remaster.
Adding in your old animation scenes into this decisive battle was a really great touch.
Anytime i see that original art in the zero/zx legacy collection, where both x series and zero series zero are clashing, i am reminded of this decisive battle.
Only really small nitpick is i think it couldve been better is if the last shot of megaman zero 3 is added when he says "I am Zero"

Nice seeing you remaster one of your most iconic divisive battles beloved by the rest of the megaman community. Which perfectly symbolizes the battle between the original soul(the Zero we know) and the original body(the Zero Wily wanted), along with the fluidity of the animation because of the 60 fps, and with some added effects and spritework help makes it stick out more. Just in time for the holidays.

I just finished replaying the zero series about a week ago and this hd remaster is a pleasant surprise!
One of the best fan animations that accurately portrays and captures the dramatic and epic weight of this moment in the series; this animation does It justice and adds even more depth to it imo.
