I think it's so wild that the actors did their own makeup. I tried painting "Cats" makeup on my face once, looked like a toddler who went crazy with a crayon. It's harder than it looks!
They have got it down to a fine art and they do it quickly too my friend who was a swing cat told me I could never do it myself like you I tried and had her in hysterics so she showed me but we just used kids face paint not stage make up like the cast uses

YOU made me feel the whole backstage excitement and buzz you had, and the very quick, professional and automatic switch from you as a dancer to Mr. Mustoffelees in the end simply left me in awe. It's January 2021 here and I miss theatre A LOT. I'd still watch Cats again. And again. Because YOU, guys, make the show stand out.

With such thick British accents, it was often difficult (for an American, like myself) to understand what these wonderful people were saying. Your video made me miss MY performance (palmyer) days. LOL
rslouis66 That’s the first time I’ve ever heard (read) that coming from an American. It never occurred to me that our accents would be difficult to decipher. I hear you though, because I find it really hard to understand some Scottish accents at times!
@@pumpkinpatch5 Not all of us do. The only issue I've ever run across understanding a British accent is when your use of slang varies from the US's. That would happen regardless of the accent though!
I love the musical cats and miss it so hope it tours again in the U.K. it was my first proper west end musical (first musical I seen was an local production of Hunchback of Notre Damn and that’s not even a west end show ) but got great memories of cats and one of my friend who’s a dancer was a swing cat she even got me free tickets for my birthday and another pair for Christmas and got me backstage to meet everyone but Cats is awesome yet the 2019 movie the songs are good but the cats well won’t go there lol

The fact that some of the orchestra members are constantly swapping between three instruments is pretty amazing.

I actually did see you in London in 2015. And did wonder how much work there MUST be to dance the way you do.

It’s weird because I’m Spanish speaker and I do understand very well the English version and the USA as well🤷🏼♀️
