It's so hard to explain the positive effects Metallica have had on my life. Without sounding like a weird-o, they have made some of my crappiest days enjoyable. Plain and simple, Metallica is just cool. James and the guys look and sound amazing for their age.
Couldn’t have said it better, Metallica saved me, literally, I’m obsessed with the band, the members, the feelings in their songs can be heard so loud, it’s what differentiates them from other bands
@@comedrawcomicwithhc2385 I think what I like the best is seeing James having fun. We all know his recent struggles with his own personal issues and it's kinda like seeing a friend who is doing well. The one thing about Metallica is they have always been honest with us. Their struggles with the band, addiction, life, mental health.. I guess when you have nothing to hide from, you can present the real you, not some clone who hides behind an image.
i really wish more people were into metal so that i can share this joy with them
@@saulmorris9639 I took my wife to the Hardwire tour. I had Snake Pit passes and we were there EARLY and stood against security fence, just below the monitors and the huge ass light bulbs that lined the stage. She was not a Metallica fan but I wanted to share the experience with her. She found a seat before Metallica came on stage. I caught the first pick James played with that night. Her loss, my moment I will never forget.

This video is a funny compilation haha! But keep in mind, it also shows that these guys are still having fun and not being boring at their shows.. even after 40+ years!! True dedication to their fans!
James and Lars are so perfect for each other. Obnoxious little guy who is so fun and a big guy that is super deep with demons and his lyrics and songwriting show it. Greatest band ever

God I love this band. For as hectic as my life is, Metallica is pretty much the only thing that was consistently a part of my life going on over 40 years now. I'll will for real be devastated when they hang it up!!

I love how, at like 7:33, James STILL can have that type of reaction to them playing shit on stage. He was like WOAH THAT WAS SICK, and that was my reaction too. As a fellow guitarist, I always get that type of reaction when I do shit like that, so it's cool to see people I look up to responding the same way.
I believe, if I’m not mistaken, that reaction was surprise. Kirk added that pinch harmonic in on the fly and it caught him off guard

It’s just so amazing to see how they still just enjoy playing live and having fun together while kicking ass!
My biggest dream since a kid is to meet and jam with metallica. Metallica’s Nothing Else Matters and Enter Sandman made me fight my daily demons (bullies) and many other things as a young kid… Today as an adult I still suffer from things from my childhood.
They made me stay alive!
I hope that one day they’ll get to hear my story from me 🙏

I've been a fan since 86 and I've seen Metallica 6 times. Haven't saw them live since Jason Newsted left. Hats off to Robert for making the team but Metallica has never been the same after losing Jason.
