- Replace the temperature sensor still having the C6L error remove the glue from on tip of 1 sensor with black wire. use a small flat head screw driver and adjuster turn it anti-clockwise until here click and try again.
Awesome help, thank you! Just replacing the sensor didn’t work for me. I had to do the additional adjustment to the sensor screw. Works great now! Best video for this repair!

some people get a "burn" error on the instant pot --- is that the same thing as the C6L error? some people have reported that identical recipes act differently in 2 identical IP pots, one gets the "burn" error, one doesn't. your video shows that there IS some adjustment that can be made to this temperature sensor that removes the C6L error -- would that also have an effect on the "burn" error issue?

Hello! I am having the same C6L error as well, and I am looking to trying your fix. I wanted to ask does the instant pot have to be plugged in when this is done? Will you still hear the “click” if it isn’t plugged in? Just asking more so for safety concerns.
this option is only if replace the temperature sensor and still have the error however need to turn the pot off and remove the glue safely to avoid to not touch other parts it need an electrical insulated small screwdriver to do this adjustment with the power on however that's the best way I find it to work recommended to get this done by someone with electronics knowledge. this is a dangerous process I do not recommend if you don't know what you are adjusting.
I have this error. I just bought the parts from amazon and it said no adjustments needed. But i noticed from the old part and new one that when i install it the side with black wire is touching the adjuster screw, while the red wire side is slightly away from the screw... is this proper? Thanks.

Hi, i have an Instant Pot duo crisp + air fryer error code c6h/ c6l. It appears even after replacing the pressure sensor you suggest doing plus adjusting the dial above it. My error appears when i insert the pot inside,, otherwise it's set to OFF. Any suggestions what might be the cause and a possible solution?
So, you're calibrating the sensor. Anyone else concerned this might allow the pressure to go dangerously high?
Hello I do not know of any tools that instant pot or anyone else has provided to do this sort of calibration however I clearly stated soon as you hear the click that will fix it use a little common knowledge to know when to stop. it's a dangerous way to get this fixed but it's the only way I found I do not recommend it but it's the last option no one else has explained it when they replace the sensor.

That's why there is a pressure relief valvle incorportated in the vent. I suppose the relief valve could fail, then of course, in Anerica, it is now litigation time.
I gave this a thumbs down👎 because of background noise that was distracting and made it hard to hear and understand what was being said.
