    The queen is not pressurized so get a bit of sail track an EO and rivet it parallel to the top of the door fore and aft!

      @@KerryDMcCauley e = Engineering O = Order i.e. get your FAA to approve the Mod. Should be easy. What you are planning with the vacuum cups will not stop water from running in the top of the door. I have about 14 k hours in Kingair 90 through 350 in all sorts of weather condition loading and unloading outside in the weather.

      @@normanappleton3627 My Queen Air does have a rain gutter that should stop most of the rain that gets past the tarp. Plus, I'll only use it if it's a very light rain with no wind.

    That looks long enough to throw over the fuselage and secure to the ground on the other side.

    Love the awning but it need to extend past the peak of the fuselage or the water that hits that area will run under the tarp and leak on the stairs just move the suction cups to the other side of the fuselage and that’s where the water will go.

    • @farmerdave33
      @farmerdave33 2 місяці тому

      I had the same thought, and for that matter can secure that side of the tarp with paracord and tent stakes in ground on the other side of the fuselage

    Kerry I would take that long side of the fabric awning and attach it to the elevator, use the suction cups where they are right now, and attach the other end to the front of the wing. That way it runs the length of the fuselage, and the hold down in high winds would make it more secure. Hope that helps! Have a great time at OSH!
