I have zero experience with body work. Is this something a total novice could tackle and make it look this good? I'm thinking about doing the body work myself and then have a shop prime/paint it.

As long as you prep right, sand well, and understand high and lows with body work, I think you'll be ok. That's how you learn. I wouldn't say it's easy though

How much would you charge something like this? I got a 2000 mustang GT.

Probably more than a new Cobra bumper would cost! Lol. It was more work than I thought. Where are you located?

Greeting from the UK, Such a great video! I'm would love to delete my bump where the number plate recess is on my bumper. I have seen some videos and fourms talk about fibre glass then a flex filler on top. Even some say to cut some of the number plate off and filled in and over it. Or just Epoxy glue, Upol p40 then maybe a resin to seal it then using flexi filler on top, prime and spray and clear coat.
Do you think the filler is an easy option or even better, shame we don't have the SEM 39767 DUAL-MIX in the UK.
    Many thanks!

I did some research on some products I thought I might use. It's still holding up well and not cracking up. But if I was to do it again, I'd probably cut it out, patch a piece in from a donor bumper, and bond everything in. My way worked, buy I feel like I did battle a bit of warping and shrinking from the thicker build. They must make a 2 part semi flexible plastic bumper repair material available in the UK?

@@refinedautodesigns @Refined Auto Designs Thank for your quick reply, They may be a product that related to those properties, just need to find it. Yes, I guess that would/could be the better solution to it, as may be less work. Will have a look, now I have some new key words and some great advice!

What brand of filler did you use? Also, did you have a flex additive mixed with the primer?

I first use it in this video. Might go into more detail. SEM 39767 PROBLEM PLASTIC REPAIR. no flex additive in the primer.
