hey.. to better explain what's going on.. the information i was given was that when power assist is off, it fixes the acceleration and brake settings at 50%.. from there it is just finer adjustment of the pedal softness.. so even at 100% pedal hardness and power assist being off, there's still actually more leeway to stiffen the pedals further.. power assist is actually a pedal softness setting that most know as "split riding mode" from the previous InMotion wheel like the V12. to actually assist you, the wheel dips and becomes softer as you increase the slider up to 100% in either acceleration or during braking depends on where you set it at... so what you did.. was when you turned it on and set the power assist to 0%, you gained that extra 50% of pedal hardness that the wheel still had room to give you.. i personally utilize the softness of the pedals to help accelerate.. so my acceleration settings are higher than 50% and my pedal settings are not completely hard either... we all have our different riding styles and yes.. you just made the pedals harder from what you did.
My V11 has experienced that glitch where the battery and controller come out of synch. Sometimes it just needs a reset, like any computer. Once I had to recalibrate the wheel using the inmotion app. It never cut out, just tilted and made me dismount. I'm glad it didn't cause an unsafe incident for you.
When you run the wheel that hard, it produces a lot of heat. So when you try to turn it off it won't because it needs the fans running to cool it down to operating temp which is under 45 Celsius or 113 degrees Fahrenheit. Charging at this higher temp will also add heat and damage the battery if you aren't careful enough to charge it in the shade. If you are riding in a hot climate like Dallas Texas, you may encounter this stall more often. The next generation EUCs will probably have liquid cooling added to their line of products.
Thanks for the video Ustride. My V13 titled backwards / cutout and threw me off backward at about 10 mph. I uploaded the log files to Inmotion, but they didn't provide a diagnosis.
Frank EUC KU4JB here, you were correct it is temperature. I have the same tilt and battery warning after leaving wheel in a hot car, after cooling the wheel BMS and battery status one cleared and then the other after additional cooling. All good after that, excellent Inmotion gives the warning, but not complete details revealed until you go looking for an issue in the app. You are a great contribution to the community and you videos are excellent.
That's awesome thanks a ton. I think it's because I was pushing it so much during testing. This is better than just shutting off with random beeps. Awesome stuff 👏
Boom 💥 The “battery failure for no apparent reason” happened to my V10F after less than 200 miles (RIP … at least for now). And now you 😱!!!! Begode is beginning to look attractive 😔.
Man, you do push the envelope, man. You really know how to push these units to near the edges of their envelopes... But never too far. Great channel... Too far is for a rolling road test bed only 😉
@Brutus Maximus lol I've lived here for 23 years riding for a little over 4 and never had an issue. It's just one of those days I guess. I ride thete on a regular whenver I get a new wheel but never paused to shoot video at that exact spot. But good point about the code
It definitely looks like it right? But it has a similar affect with Power assist on and off. I actually mentioned it being very similar to hard mode in the video
This is a new thing. I have never heard of it. I would have appreciated the explanation of what “Power Assist” was designed to do at the beginning of the video. While I watched it all, I still don’t know. Enjoyed the video either way but I didn’t learn anything. I’ll have to go look it up.
Its not maxing out at all here man. The safety features of this unit are second to none... 11K watts is nothing, battery and motor specs have close to 13K max output. The hardware, software and everything else are super conservative and super safe but cos of the quality and power are just EPIC on this unit. And the design engineers put these things selectable in the firmware becasue they know that they are good. They dont hide anything. This is good FEED and detailed design before marketing. These guys are not afraid of letting ppl know the truth! Wow... what and engineering masterpiece!
Watched quite a few of your videos and I love your content man💯💙 Someone said you might be the guy to help me learn just wondering if you teach lessons in person I bought a beast I cannot tame😢
@U-Stride I'm gonna try your video out it's just really hard because of the weight man I have an Inmotion V13 But I'm taking a Crack at your training video as we speak thanks 💯💙💪😎
@U-Stride got you. Under power assistant there's accelaration assists and brake assists. You should be specific on what percentage you are using. Anyway, great content
So does that assist make the v13 accelerate more like a begode wheel or make it accelerate better than begode wheels??? No experiment with pedal softness??
The synthesized voice isn't very clear, but it's not saying "please prepare". It's saying "please repair". My V5 does this when it's left on the charger too long, or right after a hard battery discharge. In my case I believe it's because my battery isn't very strong, etc.. Anyway, when you hear that audio, take it easy and be cautious.
just got the same error message as yours ...inmotion is trying to help me today..I'm getting error on every restart...unrideable. have you fixed your yet?
I haven't fixed it but as long as it it's not popping up I will ride it. I also can't connect to the app for whatever reason. Will chat with inmotion tomorrow
If you get yourself a speed suit like the ski jumpers wear you could start going to land speed records on EUC. What's the fastest anyone's gone on a single wheel, in the world, I wonder?
I'm sorry but if you put the power assist on at 0, does it mean the power off ? Have you tried it to 100%? Thx for your answer bro (sorry for my english)
Thanks for the video. Any insights as to what the messages were all about? It would be good to have a “Warning Message Reference Guide” of sorts. Overall, it seems the V13 is an underestimated wheel.
Sure you know at the start of your vid here... Inmotion overcharge protection on regenerative braking, tilt back is part of the programme. Stops overcharging. If you have max chage and regenerative charging circuit is engaded. The thing shutsdown and tilts back for safety. Great all these analytics are available out of the box! These numbers are in a league of their own BTW. Check other EUCs. Hook these guys up to a computer, and you will see the challenger is magnitudes ahead of ALL other EUCs man!

Good to know. Just more evidence that begode is way ahead because I could push it much harder. It's a good start for inmotion though
Thanks for the video Ustride. My V13 titled backwards / cutout and threw me off backward at about 10 mph. I uploaded the log files to Inmotion, but they didn't provide a diagnosis.
What? That's weird maybe it's something similar to what happened in the video? Hope you're ok

Severe battery sag?
Man, you do push the envelope, man. You really know how to push these units to near the edges of their envelopes... But never too far. Great channel... Too far is for a rolling road test bed only 😉
Agreed. I like pushing but not to my detriment
Power assist sounds like split mode on v12ht
That wheel tilt back happened to me. I think that tilt back jappens when you reach full power watts which is 10,000 and you went over that
What did the guy in the golf cart say???
I shouldn't be in here with that because it's a golf course

Holy yook, Sifu! How do we figure out what happened with the battery failure? Was it power assist that did you in?
Yeah it was with power assist on after several test runs
@@UStride Good to know I was on the fence about using mine 😂
Does this wheel have the split ride mode like v12 had? For example so you can set accel hardness to 100% and breaking hardness to like 40-50% ?
What do you mean by power assists? I have V13 but can't find it😅. Are you referring to accelaration assist?
Sorry for not recording that part. Go to settings > turn on power assist
@U-Stride got you. Under power assistant there's accelaration assists and brake assists. You should be specific on what percentage you are using. Anyway, great content
@Alexutlang the acceleration is zero as stated in the video. I wasn't able yo test with the acceleration assist because of the battery issue
@U-Stride man, if you try 100% accelaration assist, you'll smoke any 134V in the market right now

I'm on my way to your house to put this little wheel to the test, see you in 12 hours! 😎😁😆
Hahahahaa
Did you charge the V13 afterwards and did you find out why it came up with that fault? I really hope you get to review the EX30.
Yes I did. Just checked. It's at 100%

What's the fastest anyone's gone on a single wheel, in the world, I wonder?
With accelaration assist at 100% - master pro, ex30, master and SS can't compete with V13 on accelaration from 0-50mph.
I think I have to agree with you but I would like to see
@U-Stride sure. To remove the skill and familiarity bias, we'll have to switch wheels next time we'll do it.

Power assist is either on or off then below that you have acceleration assist. I has power assist = on and acceleration = 0%
Power assist use to much power of the wheel. It can reach 10,000 max really quick. I turned mines off.

inmotion problems.
👍
Inmotion's way for settings percentage: 0% maximum softness; 50% as if the setting is completely turned off; 100% for maximum hardness.
that is for pedal hardness... assist works the complete opposite.. 100% is max softest on power assist.
