My V8F charges to 4.18 volts per cell (reported voltage for 20S2P pack is 83.6 volts), since the day I got it (August 2021), so the V13 max charge per cell seems similar. The V8F can sense the voltage for each cell pair (21 wires for the 20 cell pairs), but according to Inmotion service, there's just a voltage limiter that just shuts off charging, rather than passive cell balancing. @@omidel. Nope, same chemistry, same cycles. Main reason was the price, 18650 are much cheaper, half price, as there are more manufacturers (especially in China) making them. In fact, for reasonable price and weight, you can pick two of the following three, but you can never get all three: number of cycles, amount of energy stored, ability to deliver power. The "percentage" of each of the 3 depends of what you put inside, and what you put inside to get one is detrimental for the other two. The size of the battery won't matter here, beside of the fact that smaller batteries means more ballast (useless weight, as for example the metal cases, you have a lot more metal compared with the useful volume inside) but in the same time, more safety (large volume cells will produce more havoc when they got "in estrus", compared with smaller cells).

Hi Marty, that was a great plumbers tape tip and I know I'll be using it in the future just not on this wheel. Absolutely nothing to do with you, you make the best videos and share the best experiences, but the more I learn about this wheel and see about this wheel the less interested I become, and I already commented plenty about its range on FB don't need to rehash it here. Question, if the Master Pro has 50% more battery why do you think the v13 weighs as much as the Master Pro?
Hey Marty, would you mind taking a look at something for me? My wheel is making a bit of a grinding noise after about Mile six. I did get into some small gravelly mud and tried to scrape it off the tire, but I heard some pebbles shooting underneath the wheeled carriage. Maybe this cause it, and I need to tear down and clean it out. m.ua-cam.com/users/shortsjC63CQRg_eE I did follow the process at your 34 minutes in adjustment from this video that did not resolve the issue. Jason @E wheels thinks this is a normal sound. What are your thoughts? Thanks
Related to those spare parts to make the wheel non-suspension, we have a joke in our country, it goes like that (and sorry for all the clever and honest policemen around the world, who I respect, but as a former communist country, where almost all policemen were silly or corrupt, we have a lot of jokes about policemen), so it goes like that: "why the policeman, before going to bed, puts on the bedside table close to him two glasses, one glass filled with water and one glass totally empty?" (answer: he is thinking, "overnight, maybe I am thirsty, maybe I am not...")
People are hyping this wheel up too much. Remember, 35 to 40 miles range only at regular speeds. And InMotion V11 fires and V12 cut outs doesn’t inspire trust.
You may be right that it’s over hyped. But the reasons you cited aren’t reasons why the hype is too much. 40 miles is plenty for me. It has lots of safety and build quality improvements. Sure if it still has a high failure rate, that will be bad for sales. I’m not interested in this wheel personally but it’s a milestone in the euc industry for many reasons.
@@darkstar4494 agreed that the innovations on safety and build quality is appreciated. These innovations hopefully will bring the EUC market one step forward. My only problem is, with my Sherman Max, I can ride it as hard as I want and still end up with 60/70 miles range (if I crank it full throttle the whole time). With my old InMotion V11, I worry about range all the time. The group rides around here are 30 to 40 mph on average across 40 to 50 miles, which I can cover with my shermax easily today. With the V13, I cannot keep up. That’s what’s disappointing about the wheel.

Anyway looking forward to your V13 content! Please do a range test :)
The V13 has a lot more plastic and metal. The rim alone is much beefier than the Monster Pro's.
Everytime I ask Jason for a wheel for review he says there all out🤔
Whoa that's heavy....I thought my T4 at 68lbs was heavy for a first wheel.
Hey Marty, would you mind taking a look at something for me? My wheel is making a bit of a grinding noise after about Mile six. I did get into some small gravelly mud and tried to scrape it off the tire, but I heard some pebbles shooting underneath the wheeled carriage. Maybe this cause it, and I need to tear down and clean it out. m.ua-cam.com/users/shortsjC63CQRg_eE
I did follow the process at your 34 minutes in adjustment from this video that did not resolve the issue.

Why are you doing an unboxing? Just ride the thing and tell us what you think.
well, Inmotion newer learned from they mistakes in air suspension.
@@darkstar4494 Maybe 40 miles would be enough for most of us but this wheel can only do 30 . Considering its weight it is ridiculous.
@@KevinRedmondWA whereabouts are you the groups average 30-40mph @ 40-50mi range? That's some serious riding!
@@ratboyboyrat we are up here in the Pacific Northwest. For example, it takes my crew about an hour and half to circle lake WA, which is about a 40 mile loop. Oh and we have trails every where. Everywhere.
That’ll be Watts-app rather than WhatsApp 😂👍🏻
😢💭.. The Pro Is A Beast!, U Need 2 Build More Muscle Mass If Your Not A Good EU Rider, Your Knees Will Get Shakey!? Barbell Squats!!!, I Went From 37 to 62mph In Just 2 Days.
at last someone tells about mediocrity of inmotion suspension design
