Great review. @2:40 - the torque numbers that electric vehicle manufacturers throw out are totally useless. There is no standard tool for measuring torque on these devices so the numbers are almost entirely made up by sales people just like the supposed "tire size" of EUCs.
Inmotion seems to have set the standard for build quality and safety with this offering. With battery tech what it is at present, you will have to sacrifice either quality of construction or safety for more range, which many manufactureres are willing to do and unfortunately far too many short sighted consumers are willing to accept. This wheel is almost the wheel that people have been waiting for but it definitely needs a bigger battery for more range and a bit of a price drop For real!
I got to give it to inmotion they came a long way. They dropped the v11 and I was like ok ok. Then they dropped the v12 and everybody was scratching there head trying to figure out why a 16 inch wheel with that power but the more I ride it the more I love it and forget it's a 16 inch wheel. Ashamed they went small on battery and the range is so little compared to similarly priced competition. Safety is nice feature but I need more range for my rides.
I still think the Sherman s is better value it’s good and all you have that high top speed but that’s about it and the safety features that’s good to but the huge disappointment is the weight and range the Sherman s will have significantly better range which to me makes it more practical
The Inmotion V13 looks very well built but I still don't like that it weighs over 100 lb. I don't know what you would have to compromise on to get to less than 100 lbs but I would like to see a EUC capable of going 55mph, has suspension, and weigh around 90 to 95 pounds.
This was a great and informative video. Was on the fence between sherm s and v13 for a long time, but in the end wheel height and weight made my decision for me.
@@access3952 Sherm S. With my short height and lighter weight it’s going to be a big pain dealing the v13 while waiting at cross walks/traffic lights. Eevee’s measured the Sherm for me and it’s just a bit taller than the s18 in total which is already a great height.
I'm currently a Onewheel guy, but I've been considering an EUC. I feel like I would want this one because while I have no intentions of going that fast, the headroom means I won't outdo the motor and "nosedive" (or whatever the EUC equivalent term is). I assume that translates to a higher torque which avoids awkward bits where a hill is too much at the speed you'd like. Basically I just want to avoid a situation where my EUC can't hang and gravity wins. I still have that issue on my GT from time to time due to my size
After everything I've been reading a 16 in wheel is the ideal start point more maneuverable and lighter weight easier to learn on without the feeling outgrowing it for quite a while. I just bought the v12 ht it's massively on sale right now
@@kristianburger5607had 7 EUCs and 5 onewheels. Been riding since 2018. If he already rides OW then this size is ok for a beginner. But in general 16 inch is ideal starter size; just not too big of a deal as one can get used to a big wheel quick then not feel like upgrading as most of us do
Good overall review, no mention of the pedals ie the raised pedal rim limits spike grip, after market pedals a thing already. Clearly Inmotion & Sherman brands are the way forward forget Goway/Begode cowboy brand (ex20s owner).

Excellent review as usual. Your video made me 95% sure the V13 is my next euc… Thanks.
Thank you glad you enjoyed it!
The Inmotion V13 looks very well built but I still don't like that it weighs over 100 lb. I don't know what you would have to compromise on to get to less than 100 lbs but I would like to see a EUC capable of going 55mph, has suspension, and weigh around 90 to 95 pounds.
I want something like the V13 with a 20" (maybe 18) wheel and less weight (battery)!!!
Dude. What is the helmet you are rocking?
This was a great and informative video. Was on the fence between sherm s and v13 for a long time, but in the end wheel height and weight made my decision for me.
And what is decision?
@@access3952 Sherm S. With my short height and lighter weight it’s going to be a big pain dealing the v13 while waiting at cross walks/traffic lights. Eevee’s measured the Sherm for me and it’s just a bit taller than the s18 in total which is already a great height.
@@faultiermusli7709 for what height?
LOL I didn't want to sound like a shameless promoter of my own shop that sells aftermarket pedals!
Would you rather get the Inmotion V13 or Sherman S?
I can't find the price
Awesome video, are you going to be selling those pads on your shop?
