While I agree with you, I think the problem is the 4th amendment uses the word HOME instead of property. The courts and government like to play semantics so they are saying only your home is protected, not your property outside the home. But if you can have someone trespassed, then that defies their logic. Also go lurk and try to set up cameras on GOVERNMENT property and see how THEY perceive the law. If the court actually believes that your HOME is only protected, then I guess your business is not protected and that is open fields as well. They just make it up as the go. If open fields is really a thing, then why do police who knock and talk have to leave when you tell them to. If the court actually believes that your HOME is only protected, then I guess your business is not protected and that is open fields as well. They just make it up as the go. If open fields is really a thing, then why do police who knock and talk have to leave when you tell them to. No reasonable person actually believes that the government lurking on your property in cammo, hiding in the woods is reasonable . Try that on G.W. Bushes ranch once and see how it goes.
Fourth amendment right my ass you have absolutely no rights! Wake up! Go into a court room and tell the you have a rights and see how long it takes before they locked up forever, your kids are in the system and you have no property, bank account or anything whatsoever.
This is America freedom and rights don't exist wake up!.
I think you're talking about the DNR. They have way too much power.
Local Agents: Creeping around my property installing cameras for dubious purposes...
Me: Starts playing "Copperhead Road" really really loudly.
years ago, There was a guy with money, whom bought a few acres in NJ, and decided to put in a commune (he had a commune fantasy). He put a building, with individual apartments, but without bathrooms, and kitchens. They used the public kitchen/bathrooms. The neighbors were losing their minds that the high fence was around the property, and they accused them of being a cult. Their dogs were able to run free in a fenced in area. They could play tennis, but never did. They could play basket ball, but never did. They went to work, paid their "rent", and not much else. The guy in charge, became disillusioned, as the tenants, were not clean, and left their dishes without cleaning too long, nor were they farming for food, etc. So, he was shutting it down for 20 years. While the neighborhood was growing. But the neighbors fear of the fence, got weirder, and weirder. The tenants were upset, because they thought they should have some ownership of the commune. lol. After twenty years, he narrowed it down to one last tenant, and eventually died. Everyone was so worked up, about what illegal activity was going on behind the fence. (lol). The shocker, is how much law enforcement was involved, where no crime was committed. (lol).
@@normbograham There's a lot of nosy people out there who just can't stand this. Makes me think of the Tom Waits song (if you can call it a song): "What's he building?"
If you ask the vast majority of people they will just go with what the law says, if you ask a lawyer or judge they will twist the law into knots.
You got that right!!!!!
In the late 1990's, Judge Charles Haden ruled that wherever there is movement/flow of water (streams, rivers, rain flow across the ground/driveway/sidewalk/roof, leaking water hose) the federal government through the US Army Corps of Engineers has jurisdiction of that property.......
this channel and organization does not get enough recognition!
Under these guidelines, if I irritate a police officer or government official; they could come onto my property and place a camera up to watch everything I do as long as it is not in my house or curtilage. Ridiculous.
Since these cameras have motion detectors, one thing you can do is to put motion devices that move every few seconds make them keep taking pictures filling their memory and also to warn others where the cameras are. If they destroy your devices then get them on destruction with private property.
How do you delegate a Right or power you don't have?
YOU cannot tax, make war, kill with immunity, or make laws.
So, where did government get that from? Does it change if a group of individuals do it? Do they conjur magical rights?
Magical rights... sounds about right
Precisely. They conjure magical rights.
@@adambaum5824 so government is one big game of pretend?
Yes they conjure them up And granted Sovereignty to themselves It is a usurped sovereignty but they exercise it nonetheless
If the government decides you are a 3 foot tall fairy, then you are period. If the government declares your neighbor is insane, they are period. If the government declares your daughter a terrorist, then she is period. If the government wants to walk on the land where you live, then they can period. They have a monopoly on truth, what are you going to do about it?
This is a great video for low self-esteem "done to" people who are on constant alert for things that prove that they are oppressed by forces they cannot control.
Who owns the 4 % private land that they can't trespass ?
I finally found something I feel passionate enough about to consistently donate. We appreciate everything you do!
Thank you so much IJ. You all are akin to a beacon of light in a very dark world. Take care & be well.
If your friendly neighborhood FBI agent broke his ankle in an abandoned ground-hog hovel, while traipsing through private property without permission, would he be able to sue the homeowner for damages? And in other news, we have finally found out the answer to the question, "how many angels can dance on the head of a pin?"
Yes.
I note: at least in my state, it's legal to put "hog traps" on one's property, so long as clear signage indicating such is put up.
In my state, landowners are encouraged to open up their land for recreational purposes so a state law was passed relieving them of liability for injuries that might occur while people were engaging in such activities on their land. Remember too that wildlife is the property of the state, not the landowner. The state needs the legal right to monitor wildlife populations and control wildlife harvest, even on private land. Landowners in my state can get inexpensive permits to harvest wildlife on their own land too so there is no need for them to poach.
There needs to be some serious discussion amongst Americans about a tax boycott
Kool. I can send the gov't a bill for maintenance of the land: mowing, gas, mower repairs, tree and bush trimming, pooper scooping, LABOR....and they can pay the taxes on 'their' land from now on.
I don’t think never actually owning your land and everything belonging to the fed is NOT what the founding fathers had in mind.
Agreed 100%
Thanks IJ
Area 51 is an open area. We should be able to wander on the property, no?
Report back how that works out...
Good point … however , I wouldn’t want to be the guy to test that theory 😂
True
@@anthonyluisi7096 Don't worry, China will. They've been buying property all around US military bases.

I never did understand why so many people hate the game warden. Thanks this video, and others like it, I now understand exactly why. Thanks IJ!
Time to start using the 2nd amendment to protect our 4th

How does a Supreme Government Court ruling apply to EVERYONE if there is no PERSONAL JURISDICTION?
The ruling doesn’t apply to you in the direct sense. But the principle established by the ruling sets the rules that lower courts will apply when similar cases arise. If you find yourself as the defendant in such a case, it is the lower court hearing your case that will have personal jurisdiction over you, and it is their ruling that will be applied to you. They may base their ruling on the legal principle of the Supreme Court ruling (or they might ignore it), but they are not applying the Supreme Court ruling to you, they are applying their own ruling for which personal jurisdiction does exist.
@@thegoondockswarcouncil9543 "the principle established by the ruling."
Doing it in a roundabout way is still doing it.
By the way, is the Constitution a legally binding contract? Does it matter of YOU never signed it and weren't alive to sign it?
Can one individual in the past consent on your behalf in the future?
Is that how consent if the governed works?
How does the governed withdraw consent?
Is the governed still bound to the Constitution if they dissent? When was the vote on that?
Who gave the Founders consent to create a document everyone, regardless if they signed it, was bound to?
How does an individual delegate a Right they don't have to another individual i.e. to power to tax, kill, make war, make laws?
@@DonnieDarko727 don’t invoke legal doctrines like Personal Jurisdiction if you don’t understand them. Regarding consent, You are subject to the law because you live in the jurisdiction where the law applies-your consent is irrelevant. Consent of the governed is a platitude people spout to rationalize their situation. The truth is that the government has power because they can and will use force against you. You can try to deny that power, but that will only result in you having force used against you. Good luck.
