I disagree. Psp street is the most resistant to scratches, fingerprints and wear thanks to its matte finish + the fact that it's thicker compared to all the slim models actually makes it more comfortable for me to hold personally. If you don't mind the lack of internet connectivity (which no one really uses on any psp nowadays) and especially if you would like to jailbreak your system, it is a great buy. These are also the cheapest psp models you can currently get. Plus, because these are the freshest psps on the market, they are more often than not in a much better condition than any of the older glossy models, which are usually very scratched up. And to round up, since it was only available in certain territories and they haven't sold that many of them, the resale value with time might turn out to be on par with earlier models or even surpass them (although ik that's a bit bold). Imo still a great buy.
I believe that the PSP Street AKA E1000 model was also mono, where the other PSP’s were stereo
This psp is actually great against scratches! It is a matte finish so blemishes don't show that much! I made a custom one, i combined the white and black unit and it looks sick! And it had the best screen of them all (in those days at least, i know that there are IPS mods), because people were complaining about the ghosting on the psp 3000, but not on this one! And the battery is honestly pretty easy to replace, once you know how to take off the door.
I remember my dad gifting me a PSP street when he worked overseas, sadly after maybe 4 years i stopped playing it and it was broken. Played a lot of games with it.
ur profile image reminds me of taki udon 😂
@@SDRIFTERAbdlmounaimlmao just realised that 😂
psp street doesn’t have bluetooth and wifi to make battery life last longer
Correction: to make battery life last longer
@@dhairyasaxena5699 oh sorry about that
Thank you
@@me_justme no problem BTW I HAVE PSP 3000 😁
@@dhairyasaxena5699 omg so lucky!! I have the street but I need to buy a charger for it and I'm thinking about saving and buying a modded 2000/3000 psp. Could you give me a rec from your psp?
@@me_justmecan you actually do anything with the WiFi in 2023?
Glad I didn't get a PSP Street (E-1000) long ago after watching some videos showing the inside outs of the unit. Maybe cos it looks too difficult for me to maintain, compare to my PSP 1000 and a PSP 2000 from my bro.
My cousin owns a PSP Street, and I thought it looked so cool. But I'm happy that I manage to keep maintaining my PSP 1000 to keep playing on it. Surprisingly, the old original batter still works, as long as I take it out when not playing. And also cleaned the context connector of the battery with a used toothbrush and IPA.
I have it please can u help me its not reading the sd card ive tried evrything the light of the sd card is clinging on and off and its not reading it
The street model can swap memory stick and it's not an M2 like the psp go. I still don't know how to change brightness in-game (doesn't have a dedicated button)
i liked this video because i’ve never heard anyone say PS (edit:Play Station)-P’s before and it makes so much sense i love it
Is it me or this video is plain wrong on a major point of critic: there's plenty of removable storage on the PSP Street. You get both UMDs and SD card port. Same as other PSP models (except for PSP Go).
Can i still play games without a memory card?
Does the psp 1 seg tv tuner work with the e1000? I'm thinking about getting one before I go in Asia.
I honestly don’t know
I had this model as a child, I loved it to bits but always hated the fact there was no internet connection. Probably going to mod it when I find a memory card
Omg. ! I have to subscribe your canal. So much nostalgic in your videos . Greetings
Will the tv tuner work with this model? Im going abroad where tv analog still supports it.
No only PSP 2000 and 3000 support TV output
did psp street have trophies?
The WiFI was removed because the PSP Street was to be a cheaper alternative to the other PSPs in Sony's line-up.
Damn maybe give it a quick wipe down before filming!
The reason sony took away some features including the Wi-Fi was to make battery life last longer for people who didn’t care about internet on it and only played UMDs such as myself and it was so they could charge less for the console and kind of make it a budget psp for people who didn’t wanna spend as much and didn’t care about those missing features, and if anything it’s better to get one now then back then as back then you probably would of wanted Wi-Fi but nowadays you can’t connect any psp to modern Wi-Fi so nowadays there’s no point in owning a psp with Wi-Fi anyway
Local wireless multiplayer aka ad-hoc. With the removing of the Wi-Fi module, that goes too. It's not just the online that went.
How have I only just found out about this psp?
same
haha same wtf
You not the only one
Same
sameee jaja
I didn't know this existed
The title is a bit misleading. I expected a review of the street model compared to other PSP models.
These cost as much as a switch wtf
You aren’t looking in the right places then!
You sound likr BlackySpeakz
didn’t know this existed
me too
wtf i never heard of this one dang
The E1000 didn't make sense. Especially because it was only available in a territories. And especially so when the PSP Go was a thing. But relatively speaking. Sony dropped the ball in more ways than 1, had they took a hiatus will production/releases er even debutes and showcases of a next generation Handheld PS, it could've benefited greatly. Very much so that even in the 2010s, let alone the latter part, Handhelds were more a bit less popular than they are now, as much as mobile gaming has been catching up and dividing the console gaming market for some time now. And unless you have a neighborhood of kids or play online, you're best bet of finding a fellow games is in chat group pages and forums.
I don't really understand how people think that the scope of Video Gamers is so big, it's really not. And depending on the criteria, Handheld/console/mobile/PC, it's still honest to god still not as big as people think, and probably worse when you take into account users and players that play MMORPGs, stay with one game and almost never touch another game title.
That system ugly asl ain’t nun comparing to the first PSP
First PSP is definitely my favorite. Love how thick it is 😅
Rather get the PSP 1000, 2000, or 3000 since they have online connectivity!!!
right, its a no brainer..
Which you can't really do much
They’re all the same nowadays. Not only are most Wifi networks unsupported, but internet doesn’t really add much to the experience, especially that the PS Store shut down on the PSP.
nah better to jailbreak
Also ad-hoc aka local wireless multiplayer is NOT possible on the Street. Can't forget that. Wi-Fi is not just online.
psp & ps vita are better than today's garbage that's for sure shit is nothing but ports remakes remasters and etc nothing original whatsoever. so hell yeah psp is 1000% worth it so is the vita and tbh ps vita is UNDERRATED!
Dude chose the lamest game to display

I used to love homebrewing the psp. Was an awesome portable, now I can play psp games and such on my phone so this is a pointless machine these days.
