Great video I like no music. Thank you for showing what or how a camera can change your outcome fishing and learn so much from it. What camera did you use for this I would like to buy one soon. Thanks again....
Great vids. From this vid, I see a few hints to what fish like. Less movement is better than more movement. Fish don't give a hoot about the lure, just the minnow. When one fish gets yanked upward, the others don't react. Smaller minnow is better than a big minnow.
What a walleye wants is for the bait to act naturally when a predator comes in. Either it holds still, or it moves away from it. Never at it. You'll notice when he dropped the bait in it's face, they took off. When he slightly moved it away, they attacked.
Is this at buck or lesser slave lake in Alberta? I see walleyes, some jack and some perch, and those two lakes have the same fish with lake whitefish and burbot
Pikes sure do clear out the room. Caught 16 pike the other day. Just left them on the ice for the animals and birds to eat. Started catching walleye after awhile. Today some people told me they like eating pike. Wish I knew that the other day.
Thanks for posting. I could never understand the reasoning behind putting bait on a lure. Save money and use a circle hook by itself. I see worms and other baits put on treble hooks of a lure. What kind of a bait, or live minnow has a lure hanging from it in the nature? Waste of money.
In northern Quebec I don't use bait; just a lure and/or a soft jig body. Works for walleye and pike. Trout too, but with worms is definitely better. I ice-fish trout with just a small hook and a hunk of liver.
What kind of fishermen in 202, still use live minnows to fish, passing through their bodies hooks and making them suffer when it would be much easier to use any king of artifial bait? It is illegal to use live and dead minnows in many parts of the world, including in many Canadian provinces and American states, and it is about time the rest of the world follows. I am a fisherman and a hunter but also a nature lover and I never make animals suffer. Such torture of bait fish should be forbidden everywhere and on UA-cam too.
freaking cracks me up when they ZING!!! upward at light speed from the hook set😂😂😂
Was not expecting that Pike to show up! Nice footage!
wtf was he thinking @7:58 something like "maybe i will hook him somewhere else to wound him"? one fish gone, get over it and get an other one!....
What an awesome video! Pike and eyes in the same frame, thats nuts.
This is insightful.
The minnow falls off. 😂😂😂
yeah, and the walleye immediatly took it, as he KNEW it was on a hook.
4:12 when the pike rolls in :O watch the wallies vanish

George Pretnick basically finesse on steroids 😂😂😂😂😂🤔
Ummm. No
twizatch big fish will eat a small minnow but small fish won’t eat a big one🤷🏼♂️

I think more movement is better
Quit slamming your jig for two seconds and you're gonna catch triple the amount of fish!

Excellent keep em coming I can watch this fish strike behaviour all day. Maybe try some different species. Thanks!
Good fish! Should have used a FishSens SondeCAM HD to record the bite! Works great under the ice! #fishsens
Very entertaining video. One of the best. I say no to the music unless it is jazz or big band.

Anyone else get annoyed at 4:15 when he aggressively jigged that giant pile away
A pike stopped by lol
Fn pike comes in and clears the room.

@@LonerNomad not cool man...pike are sport fish and should not be wasted leaving them on the ice. Try and do better in the future please!

Awesome footage
Where you fishing at
Nice footage
Seems to me you jig the bait too much. Un- natural. They get spooked.
Nice video
Made you a friend.
How deep is the water?
You need to add music to this.
no please play your own track in another window.
Music from Jaws
Take the tail grinder
That perch looked like it was as big as the walleye!!!! Hellyeah!!!
"Mmm! a tasty morsel... My planet needs me!"

Hashem N more flash, or rattle, or glow it entices them and attracts from distance better

This was kinda sad
Это видео о том как категорически запрещено рыбачить в отвес.
