    Great video I like no music. Thank you for showing what or how a camera can change your outcome fishing and learn so much from it. What camera did you use for this I would like to buy one soon. Thanks again....

    Great vids. From this vid, I see a few hints to what fish like. Less movement is better than more movement. Fish don't give a hoot about the lure, just the minnow. When one fish gets yanked upward, the others don't react. Smaller minnow is better than a big minnow.

      What a walleye wants is for the bait to act naturally when a predator comes in. Either it holds still, or it moves away from it. Never at it. You'll notice when he dropped the bait in it's face, they took off. When he slightly moved it away, they attacked.

      I think more movement is better

    Fn pike comes in and clears the room.

    • @LonerNomad
      @LonerNomad 4 роки тому

      Pikes sure do clear out the room. Caught 16 pike the other day. Just left them on the ice for the animals and birds to eat. Started catching walleye after awhile. Today some people told me they like eating pike. Wish I knew that the other day.

      @@LonerNomad not cool man...pike are sport fish and should not be wasted leaving them on the ice. Try and do better in the future please!

    Thanks for posting. I could never understand the reasoning behind putting bait on a lure. Save money and use a circle hook by itself. I see worms and other baits put on treble hooks of a lure. What kind of a bait, or live minnow has a lure hanging from it in the nature? Waste of money.

      Hashem N more flash, or rattle, or glow it entices them and attracts from distance better

    • @joemacneil1217
      @joemacneil1217 2 роки тому

      In northern Quebec I don't use bait; just a lure and/or a soft jig body. Works for walleye and pike. Trout too, but with worms is definitely better. I ice-fish trout with just a small hook and a hunk of liver.

    What kind of fishermen in 202, still use live minnows to fish, passing through their bodies hooks and making them suffer when it would be much easier to use any king of artifial bait? It is illegal to use live and dead minnows in many parts of the world, including in many Canadian provinces and American states, and it is about time the rest of the world follows. I am a fisherman and a hunter but also a nature lover and I never make animals suffer. Such torture of bait fish should be forbidden everywhere and on UA-cam too.
