Excellent interview. Our family built our resort 50 years ago. We’ve seen lots of cycles and changes in Lake of the Woods fish and wildlife in those 50 years. This was a great walleye science interview.
Thank you for not including emotions and politics. In this video.
    Keep up the good work.

Very well done and informative production. In regards to the pressure factor of fish, particularly more noticeable on crappie - Negative effects of bringing up these fish(crappie
) from deeper water is especially noticeable after about 18 feet. It seems that barometric pressure plays a part in how deep the negative effect takes place, sometimes 18 feet is ok, sometimes 22 feet is, or isn't. Most fish can be saved from "the float" when releasing by throwing at least 6 feet in the air - the shock of hitting the water will send almost all straight down, with little negative impact- I have caught the same fish later in the day from the deeper water. Just sharing. Again, very enjoyable video!
