Can the client use the financing that I help them get with a different contractor who doesn't even offer financing? If I'm the first responder to the bid, and i go thru the process of getting them approved, can they then take that approval and shop someplace else?
Chris, would love to have a convo about some of what was said in regard to baking financing in and raising prices. I have experience with this. Over the past 8 years we've tried to implement one price for all and we price ourselves out. We're a bad ass company with bad ass reps, we might not be perfect, but this has never worked for us, has actually hurt us
Automatically marking up regardless of financing isn’t very honest but hey, if people pay it I guess go for it. I would offer a price for financing, over the phone payments, and checks or cash. Why not?
Awesome interview. Great nuggets for not just giving cash discount simply for cash only. “Make them earn it with referrals and sign.” Keep up great work.
Dimitri, I think you got a lead on more content. Everyone would benefit from a couple comprehensive and informative financing videos. Maybe expose some scammers 😉 Cheers from Chicago!
I Love what you said about fees being disclosed at the point of sale. That’s what I started implementing and it works great 😊 trust and integrity goes a long way with consumers!
Yup. Did hvac throughout college. Monthly breakdown, or even broke it down to dollars a day. SEER ratings allow you to compare to current equipment’s efficiency. Average run rates for the regions and customers individual thermostat settings allow you to project a theoretical savings to negate the payment.
I was using Mosaic's 0 fee 3 month same as cash no payment for many of my roofs, especially my insurance roofs. They now basically only do solar.

Yeah, feels like you’re charging someone for a service they didn’t ask for or need.
