This is one of the finest recordings ever made. Robert Palmer is a legend - from Yorkshire, England. The song was written by Andy Fraser, who was the bass player with Free - although, I believe RP changed a few lyrics for this version.
I was in high school the first time I ever heard Robert Palmer. I wore out Clues and Double Fun. He had so much soul. I was lucky enough to see him in concert. He was amazing. A very gifted musican. And he had such a GQ wardrobe. Thank you for loving him. He is dearly missed.
the message in Robert Palmer's song is BOTH inspirational and international. People should end their conflicts, especially at places you know where right now

I love Robert Palmer so much, I'm searching through your videos to see any reactions you've done to his music. This is such a very positive song, even though it has almost a dark sound to it.
It's cool, I know you've got a huge list too go through, the songs were "people are people", "enjoy the silence", "personal Jesus", and "Policy of truth"..

Written by the late, and much lamented, Andy Fraser, the bass player with 'Free'. Great musician and a fine man.

Hi Laurie! Inclusiveness, equality, and acceptance is what it means to me!💙
Mint juleps did an excellent cover version of this song in 1987 on Stiff Records. Seek it out, it's great!

Very true lyrics, but it doesn't take people like Putin, to make the word go round. So it's actually not "every" kinda people.
