Gwrych Castle is not on Anglesey, but on the North Wales Coast near Abergele, between Rhyl and Llandudno. It is visible on the hillside from the A55 North Wales Expressway.

I thought I had read that Gwrych Castle was in Anglesey but wasn’t sure. That’s why I only made a quick passing remark to where the Castle was and hoped noone would notice ☺️

@@LearnWelshPodcast The opening sequence of the series (where half of them abseiled down a small cliff) was on Anglesey. You can see where they filmed it if you take the boat from Beaumaris to see Puffin Island.

My mother grew up in Rhyd Y Foel near Gwrych Castle in the 1940s. In the 1970s it was an attraction and held jousts etc. But fell into ruin and collapse.A great deal of money must have been spent to secure it's safety for this programme!

Ll is that tricky for me as Polish that I practically spit myself trying to say it in a word :p For me that sometimes sounds like little spit out "chl" - but my Polish "chl". Or sometimes even just like simple "h" in Polish. I don't know, maybe it's some way to do it well without spitting myself :p

Position your tongue to how you would to say l and instead of saying l push air through while pushing your tongue to the sides
