A long time ago when I was a beginner, I used to watch all your videos to learn english. You were part of my process and loved and still love every one of your videos. Thank you!
My two best English teachers together 😍.. Can't believe I'm watching this.. Lots of love from my heart.. Thanks so much both of you....My English has improved a lot..
Hi dear , this is Ali from Sudan I am lab technologist and papering for my coming IELTS exam, kindly can you have sometime practice speaking with me. Meanwhile, if you know anyone who wants to improve her or his speaking please direct me to them 🤍🙏
Hi. I'm from Spain. I am studying english and I must train muy hear to understand the speaking english. These videos help me a lot. Thanks. I Will continue watching them.
This interview is not new, but it is a pleasure to listen to your beautiful and apaisant voices. You are part of my favourite British English teacher. Thank you for the time you give to help us learn and improve our English.
I have been hearing since 2 weeks. I think that this podcast is appreciated for listening because with gave the subtitle and also he and she voice is extremely sweet. From this podcast I learnt advance vocabulary as well as my listening skill is exacerbating.Eventually, I say that this podcast is appreciated for listening to us.
Thank you. I really enjoy listening to (and sometime participating in) this long conversation between you two. I was wondering how you two could keep this conversation going this long!
I am starstruck by you two. You are so confident and competent when you convey information! Two of my favorite teachers gathered for an online class! This will be unforgettable!! 👌🤩
"Confident and competent"...you put it in words, Anna. He is so focused on his audience commited to teach. But at the same time, he make the broadcast flow smartly. Great episode!
Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm glad you found the podcast helpful. Learning new vocabulary and expressions is a great way to become more proficient in a language, and I'm glad you took the opportunity to learn from two of the best.
Wow!!! This is super helpful with videos and subtitles both presented in such a clear way!! I’ve never seen any UA-camrs doing this format. Looking forward to seeing more contents like this!
Luke, I would be interested if you do a talk about philosophy- some introduction for dummies and recommendations on how to start studying philosophy, books, etc
Oh it's so wonderful to hear and see my 2 favourite English teachers together 😍 I always listened to Luke on podcasts, now I could also see him. You are both great teachers, but also really nice people ❤
Well it seems I´ve just found a great source of amazing expressions, new words, idioms etc.... Thanks so much. I am about to get down to business and write it all down so I could use new knowledge if needed :)
It is the first time I have to hear from you I am so pleased with that I want to improve my skills of speaking English what I am doing please advice me thanks
It was very interested for me, especially when Luke talked about tea time habits in different countries. I had a similar experience with tea, when I arrived to the U.K. because in my country we drink tea with honey and lemon. A British family gave me a cup of tea with milk and when I looked into the cup I thought they misunderstood something, and I asked if is it a cappuccino or what is this, because it seemed like that because of the milk. They were surprised that I wanted to drink my tea with lemon in it, but accepted this very easy. So I understand the situation here.😃 I hope there will be some more chat like this, I really appreciated it, thank you.🙂
Wow I found a fantastic video! I’m a fun of Luke’s podcast and I really liked full script of conversation. I’ve subscribed you and will enjoy other videos❤
@@EnglishLikeANative I mean it usually goes like two youtuber are making a collab and then uploading the exact same video (despite intros and stuff) on their channels. But you guys are above that. Thank you, it's been fun, it's been usefull, it's been a pleasure.
Honestly my lovely...: Best interview ever! You found your master Anna, Luke is so chatty! ;-) Thanks to your conjugated talents, being both focused on each other discourse, accurate and relevant, your duet worked perfectly and amazingly. Apart from the variety of subjects you evoked among which I especially enjoyed the part 'new vocab.' as I am too a word lover, I liked that the speech rate was a bit higher than usual on that one. With that kind of rich exchange, I can really assess the tremendous progress I've achieved in the listening/understanding sphere and in the course of the last three years being almost exclusively immersed into the English language. I could get the whole thing without subtitles except for a few occasions and for the terms that were new to me . Bravo! Thank you so much to the both of you guys! It would be really great to have a part 2 ... and hopefully even more! 👍🙏😊 Now Anna, I can understand that you were starstruck and I think I've never seen you so focus, admirative and engrossed over an interview so far. One has to admit that Luke is brilliant, but you clearly don't have to blush in front of him and you must be convinced that you are probably (imho) one of the best, if not the best and goat🐐, tutor of the (British) English langage on the internet. Bisous bisous Anna! 😘🌹💞 P.S.: I am still hoping for an interview with my dear Sabrah and Leila whom I love tremendously too and though they both make themselves relatively rare these days esp. Leila. (Kisses to them!)
Well, I was listening to this podcast with the intention of improving my listening skill , and I was take aback when I listen to Luke, Anna's guest, that he struggles to speak French. I wonder how he motivates his leraners of English to speak English when he actually refuses to speak French. I believe that as a language teacher he must be a good role model for his leraners, so they force themselves to use the language at any opportunity that they have.
Hello Anna, thank you for this opportunity to hear both of you. However, I would like do ask a question, how can you recommend to improve my English skills using your podcast? For Example, I usually listening the podcast while running or do exercise and listening again in other opportunities and take a look in some vocabulary that I didn't know, but to my listening skills, what do you suggest? Because I have been struggling to understand the native speaker in midlands, where I going to move.
Good and well teaching conversation there, Kudos! The fact that I'm an Anglophone and I'm studying in a french country (Algeria) I was getting cleary what Luke was trying to bring up ''The Mr Bean Feeling'' 😂 It was amazing to watch this but it's sounded as a joke when Luke said he has now 10+ years in paris and still can't get that French well 😂😂
That's awesome! I'm so glad you love his podcasts. It's always great to see people you admire in real life. I'm sure you were excited to watch him on video!
