    Leveled my 2015 2500. Looks so much better and didn’t change the ride at all. I did run a shock extension on the stock shocks but now I have the Bilstein 5100 that are for 1-3 in lifts. I also decided to put air bags in the rear so I can level back out when towing.

      Nice, I wanted to try the block first then as time goes move up to a proper leveling kit either on this truck or the next one 👍🏾

    2020 3500 Laramie Mega. I did mine 3 weeks ago. I went with a 2” puck and Bilstein 5100’s. You can also just drop the whole sway bar with 4 bolts. I found it to be much easier that messing with the booted track bar bolts. It made dropping the axle quick, but you do need two jacks and two jack stands.
    Then put on some Falken Wildpeak AT3 295/70 r18. Looks sharp and they ride nice and quiet.

      Yup, luckily we had the lift and was able to get it done with a jack and a jack stand

    From your reaction it sounds like you are happy so that’s good. I’m not really a fan of leveling kits but again to each their own. The tires do look great.
    Those were lifters on the bench or tool box tray or whatever that was.
    Also man you all were making me nervous with that coil spring when he was trying to get it out and it under tension. I know it wasn’t a lot of tension but it is bad times for someone if those fly out of there when they are under tension.

      It definitely met my expectations for look, now it’s time to see if towing is effected 👀…
      Yup, have some footage of an engine they came out, may try to post this week or next!

      @@JB_WhoWork sounds like that particular 6.4 Hemi has seen better days then. It would be an interesting video but will probably bring out a lot of haters lol.
      On old small block Chevy’s like what’s in my racecar getting to the lifters wasn’t too bad of a job. Just had to take the intake off. But on the newer small block Chevy’s it’s a pretty big job. You have to take the heads off.
      I’m looking forward to the reveal of your truck leveled on 35s.

    • @JB_WhoWork
      @JB_WhoWork  2 роки тому

      Yea it came out of a SRT but it had over 150k miles and it was 8 years old so definitely higher probability for issues.
      For the majority, even if it’s easy, it’s a lot of work with a proficient knowledge of engine breakdown… I wouldn’t do it lol 👍🏾

      @@JB_WhoWork me either. Not on like my new truck. But the race car is a little different. Find top dead center, pull the distributer, unhook throttle cable and fuel lines and then it’s a matter of taking the intake off.

    Stock shocks with no extension brackets even? Also trac bar needs to be torqued to 220-230ft pounds. That impact isn’t getting it right enough. When it’s not at the right torque the front end can move a little.

    OH MAN!!!! That front end height is perfect, looking forward to drive quality. Now the question is, do like your tires under the wheel weld? Or have a little poke to them? Looking forward to that reponse in your next video. 👍🏽

    • @JB_WhoWork
      @JB_WhoWork  2 роки тому +2

      Dude it is 💯! Honestly I prefer them to be stock offset unless I went with a 3” lift then I would go with a different offset wheel to make it flush. Nothing wrong with the poke but I like to stay as close to stock since I pull my fifth wheel full time 👍🏾

    Now when you’re towing the ass end will be dragging instead of having the truck level as designed. Engineers spent many hours to work it all out. Tires look good for an off road unit going wheeling, with what you do you should have some 295 Michelin ltx ribbed tires, smooooooth riding, no noise, great fuel mileage, I’m getting 22 mpg with 3.73 gears.

    Bro pucks are one of the worst options I know it is budget friendly, but shocks like Bilsteins would have been much better. But really Thuren or Carli is the way to go for these trucks. Glad you are happy with it but I guarantee if you drive a Truck with the any of the above mentioned products you would want to change out your pucks.

    • @JB_WhoWork

    Bro idk what kind of leveling kit that is but there is nothing holding the puck. No bolts anything looks dangerous that spring could slide out easily if rode rough. There should be a bolt through the hole of frame and puck with plate to keep it stationary, also there should at least be a bolt through old hole use for spring isolator nub you cut off CHECK OUT SUPREME SUSPENSION FRONT LEVELING KIT AND HOW IT GOES TOGETHER ON THEIR SITE be safe bro, bit sketchy for me.
