So I would do this today if I wouldn’t be nose high towing my 5er. That’s the only think about leveling that keeps me away. I’m 1” lower in the rear than the front, if I add this my 3500 will be 2-3” lower with squat. Can’t have that.

How about a video going over the air bag assist on F250-350 are they always on or is there a sag point to create inflation and could be wrong but I thought there was a quick release for off roading.💯👍🇺🇸
We like to use the Firestone Rite Rite air bags with Daystar cradles so that the bags aren't married to the axle for improved flex. Sadly any air bag system will detract from the ride quality, so we always recommend using them only if you absolutely need them. For most cases having an inch or two of squat when towing a couple times a year is better than giving up ride quality every day!
It’s VERY subtle and not something you can see. The biggest way you notice it is with tire clearance. With the factory bar on a level, typically one side will rub with 37s and the other will clear.
No since these coils and shocks have more travel than a stock Power Wagon, so the shocks would be long enough to case the coils to fall out when articulating. Carli has a full line of Power Wagon specific systems! www.cjcoffroad.com/collections/2019-ram-2500-powerwagon-carli-suspension-systems

I know this is an older video thank you for the info I’m hoping you get this message, what do you recommend for a 2023 ram short bed non-Dooley 3500 with factory air ride, the air ride has alternate ride height and regular ride height self adjusting, the reason I’m asking is because I tow Almost 4 months out of the year probably seven days a week a tractor my total weight is about 14,500 pounds and I need stability etc. in stock form the vehicle is towing great but I’m not used to driving a vehicle that so low to the ground I had a 2500 with the Carly 3.25 lift and I loved it but the vehicle was not heavy duty enough for the weight that I’m towing do you have a recommendation that will not mess up my ability to tow? i’m not looking for a better quality ride but if I get a better ride so be it I liked my 3.25 lift I’m going to stick with a tire that is close to the stock height and a little bit wider probably 80 295 series tire any input you could give me would be great but my most important concern is towing let me know what you folks sell and I will order it. 👍👍👍👍👍
Happy to help! There's two options for your truck: The first is the dedicated Carli 3.25" pintop system which you've seen featured in a few of our UA-cam videos. That system is a dramatic improvement in ride, and retains full payload and towing specs as it's specifically designed for the air assist 3500 trucks. If you want the best of the best to improve ride without giving up function, that's the way to go! The other budget friendly option is to do a .5" or 1.75" Thuren 3500 front coil, Carli SPEC 2.0 shocks or Carli spec Pintop Kings, and possibly a track bar. That setup will improve front ride quality substantially, but since the rear is only getting a shock change, the ride improvement is minimal in the back. If you want help with either, shoot us an email to sales@cjcoffroad.com.
Is there no issue with the increased travel allowing tire to contact fenders? How does towing and payload get affected with tuned shocks(More so the feel, i understand the numbers themselves stay the same)? Any issues with the coil spring being mounted at a bit of an angle? Also recommendations for fixing the horrible stock drag link? I absolutely refuse to let my dealership weld any part of my truck.
Tires contacting the body is all about size and wheel spec. To fit 37s on a Ram you need a 8.5-9” wide wheel with +18 to +25 offset. As for towing, since these shocks have more damping than factory, you’ll actually have a lot better control and composure when towing with this system.
I’ve owned TONS of trucks, IMO if you are not going to tow, don’t buy a heavy duty truck, you will like a 1500 way better. I just traded my 17 1500 HEMI for a 19 Cummins and the Cummins is awesome for towing my HUGE trailer. BUT, for literally everything else I’d rather drive the 1500.
CJC Off Road when you say “some trimming”? Do you have a link showing it or a video on it. And is it just metal or plastic that gets trimmed? Love the look!!!
Hello my tech question is what is the oil in the fox shocks rated to? meaning cold temps, I'm using my 2021 Ram 2500 diesel 5000 miles north to the arctic ocean in a rally in the winter with temps around bellow -40 degrees, want to make sure the temp is not an issue for the fox shocks, also looking for sponsors if interested, thanks
What do y'all recommend to add about an inch in the rear to compensate for towing with this leveling kit set up? I hate to see leveled and lifted tricks that are sagging to the pavement when towing. What kind of droop would this system cause over factory while under weight/towing?
What do you suggest to prevent typical squat when loaded? Air bags to level back up? Like Bryant, I'm not a fan of the truck sagging when towing. Love the videos. Thanks in advance for your response
never. the diesel engine is a lot heavier then a gas engine and what your paying for wont be lifted the right hieght or ride how it should. that goes for any lift kit not just theirs. you need the gas lift for the gas engine
With the truck leveled up as shown, does this system compensate for squat when your towing/ hauling at maximum payload? If not, what can you do about it?
The rear springs are factory, so the truck is going to squat exactly like a factory truck under load. Keep in mind that squatting under a load is perfectly normal, but if you want to supplement the rear we recommend using Timbren bump stops the few time you approach max capacity, then removing them for normal driving.
Thank you for responding. With a factory truck there is enough rake to compensate for the load. These systems are nice but once leveled they squat with a case of water in the back. Just seems like the industry doesn’t have a solution for the guy like me the tows every weekend or uses his truck like a truck. 2’5” is too much on these Rams in my opinion.
If you have a 3500 the solution is Carli long travel air bags and auto-leveling system. If you have a 2500 (like me) then yes there is some compromise when loaded as your front end rides 2.5” higher. But, for me I’ll live with that for the massive off-road improvement.
BTW, you have another option, keep your factory coil spring up front, and if you want some lift throw a cheap 1” spacer or whatever you want, and then bolt on the Fox or King shocks for a massive improvement. Yes, these shocks might not be tuned to the factory spring (from Carli) but it doesn’t matter (that much) it’s still going to be a massive upgrade and far superior to OEM shocks with all that diesel weight. The front end of our trucks bottoms out way too easy!
@@CJCOffRoad I completely understand but I occasionally tow and carry heavy loads in the bed and that is why I want to know if the your fox shocks come long enough for a one inch spacer in the rear? Thanks.
I have a 2016 Dodge Dually 3500 Longhorn Laramie P/U with 34k miles. Love the truck however, would like to somehow improve the ride while not affecting the abilities of the truck. I have heard a great deal about your system and would like to know more as well as locations around the country to have it completed. Thank you very much WPC
Love this wheel/tire combo and the stance of the Carli Suspension. I have front splash guards on my 2022 Ram 2500. Will this pose a problem if I put the same wheel and tire setup?
Ideally yes. Running stock wheels with 37s is a bit tricky, since the factory wheels are +40 offset which is about 20-28mm too far in. As a result, you hit the radius arms and sway bars with the tires when turning lock to lock. You can either cut the studs and run a bolt on spacer that makes up that gap with the stock wheels, or go with an aftermarket wheel in the right specs. Since we aren't too fond of cutting wheel studs, we'd suggest the aftermarket wheel route. To fit 37s on a Ram truck we recommend a +12 to +27 offset wheel that is no wider than 9.5.” A +12 wheel will yield a slight poke from the fender, while a +27 wheel is just about flush with the side of the truck.
They are a Forged wheel made by a company called Innov8 Racing in both beadlock and simulated bead lock. Here's a link: www.cjcoffroad.com/Innov8-Racing-Forged-Wheels-s/310.htm
I have a question. I own a 2017 ram 1500 express 4x2. I tow a 20ft trailer weigh in about 7500 lbs six days per week. I'm interested in a suspension leveling kit. What do you recomend
ok sorry to be behind un the times, just bought a beautiful 2010 dodge 2500 and would like to level :) what do you recommend and i saw in 1 video you had other shops that you work with you might recommend. we are in south Carolina thanks so much for your expertise
Yes this set up will require mild trimming of the plastic fender liner. We have a video of the process on our channel. It shows a 4th gen, but the trimming is identical.
It all depends on the wheel spec! With the correct specs, you only need to trim the plastic fender liner. To fit 37s on a Ram truck we recommend a +18 to +27 offset wheel that is no wider than 9.5.”
CJC, I need some advice. 2019 ram 2500 diesel with factory rear air assist. Couple questions: 1. Looking at the thuren 2.75"; however I don't want to put a spacer in the rear. Is it going to affect anything mechanically. I never use the air assist. 2. I can't find any photos with folks having 2" through 2.75 with air ride so I can see my options, any advice would help.
We'd highly recommend option for the Carli factory air systems. They're the only brand on the market making levels specifically tuned and tailored for the factory Rams, and the results are awesome. The airbags really do require specific shock lengths/tuning to ride correctly! www.cjcoffroad.com/collections/2014-ram-2500-carli-air-ride-leveling-systems
It just did! We just released a video that offers a detailed walk through of the new shocks. To give you a brief summary, Carli has been experiencing issues with Fox's production reliability, and decided to take shock production in house instead of using Fox's custom shock program. As a result, they had the opportunity to start fresh on the shocks with full control of the design, so they not only made changes to the valving, but to the actual oil flow, seal design, ease of rebuilding, top bushings and more. The result is basically just an all around better shock than they were able to make within the confines of Fox's program, and we've been really happy with the new Carli SPEC offerings!
I ordered a 2021 ram 2500 longhorn with auto level air in rear only - I want to put 35 inch tires on a 22x12 wheel with a - 44 offset what’s your recommendation? I want to keep ride quality . I’m open to any suggestions ? Thank you in advance.
I'm getting ready to buy that system but was wondering if I should get the track bar before the drop down brackets ? I'll end up getting most of that add ons . And what 18x9 wheel offset should I get ?
The track bar is something you should add, but there’s no need for the radius arm drops. To fit 37s on a Ram you need a 8.5-9” wide wheel with +18 to +25 offset. We’d recommend the same specs for a 35” tire too. 👍

A little late here, but this is the system I'm interested in BUT, I have a 2022 Laramie 2500 6.4 Hemi. It seems that everything Carli and you all talk about is either Cummins or Power Wagon. It's almost like the regular 2500 Hemi is ignored intentionally... This kind of points me toward the Thuren approach. What's the deal with the singular focus upon the Diesel primarily and Power Wagon secondarily but a regular hemi, not at all. What about a regular 2500 with a 6.4 Hemi? AND this system with a track bar and maybe swaybar. Am I good to go? Edit: I put a Fab Fours Matrix pre-runner bumper with a 12K winch on the front and it does make a slight difference in the front, very slight but noticable adding likely around 200 lbs to the front of my 2500 vs the OEM bumper. Of course this leads me to asking myself if the Diesel is 900ish more lbs than the Hemi, does Ram change the front suspension on the Cummins 2500 vs the Hemi? If so, or not, is the Carli level oriented around the extra weight of the Cummins and should that impact the decision to do this leveling approach on a standard 2500 with a Hemi? And I have at least one other youtuber who noticed the singular focus upon the diesel in a standard 2500 with a Hemi... AND, I'm not seeing anyone who has addressed this question or has a video with this system and a hemi. So, I don't want to spend the money install only to find I'm unhappy with the Carli level you discuss in this video.

Curious about the wheels in this video... The bolts around the outer wheel appear to be black. However, online they seem to be stainless steel.
You can swap them out! Method offers bolt kits in a few different colors actually if you want to customize your setup.
Love your videos, love your work. Wish you offered something like this for a second gen gasser.
Great video. Who is your preferred installer in Phx area?
Does this mess w the warranty at all?
What’s the offset on the wheels?
Do you know anyone in the Chicago area that is as knowledgeable and does quality work?
Sam Leman Ford is our preferred installer in Illinois!
@@CJCOffRoad Thank you
Referring back to track bar. Can you talk about how much the axle is not centered.
Before and after tire stick out would be nice, in a video.
It’s VERY subtle and not something you can see. The biggest way you notice it is with tire clearance. With the factory bar on a level, typically one side will rub with 37s and the other will clear.
With the Carli track bar is this fixed/reduced to no rub with the 37’s?
None of the trucks that leave our shop rub. If you stick to the recommended wheel/tire specs and trimming yours won’t either!
Does it matter if I have the 6.4 hemi vs the Cummins?
Curious, for a power wagon that is already lifted 2 inches in the front. could you simply just run the tuned fox shocks?
No since these coils and shocks have more travel than a stock Power Wagon, so the shocks would be long enough to case the coils to fall out when articulating. Carli has a full line of Power Wagon specific systems! www.cjcoffroad.com/collections/2019-ram-2500-powerwagon-carli-suspension-systems
I just order my aev salta wheels I’m trying to get this lift ASAP my truck is a 2017 2500 6.7 I just got it this week super excited been working with you guys to get parts great service and communication 🇺🇸 💎 💎💎💎💎
I would like to order this set up. I have a 2019 Ram 3500 Bighorn. How easy is it to install or where can I take it to get it installed. I live in Asheboro NC. Thanks for your time.
There's two options for your truck:
The first is the dedicated Carli 3.25" pintop system which you've seen featured in a few of our UA-cam videos.
Can you buy like a basic commuter and then add the fabricated arms and track bar ect?
Absolutely! www.cjcoffroad.com/collections/2019-dodge-ram-2500-3500-suspension/products/carli-suspension-2014-2020-ram-2500-fox-2-0-leveling-kit
Finally for the drag link, we recommend either the 19+ OEM, or the Synergy drag link. 👍
The truck is amazing. I’m going to get one and I don’t off road or tow nothing lol.
Did the customer report any major running. I have a 2018 ram 3500 and want to go 37’s and don’t want to loose payload by fully lifting.
Zero rub on these trucks with the right wheel specs and some trimming. To fit 37s on a Ram you need a 8.5-9” wide wheel with +18 to +25 offset.
CJC Off Road when you say “some trimming”? Do you have a link showing it or a video on it. And is it just metal or plastic that gets trimmed? Love the look!!!
Good offset.
Is this hard for a DIY install? Are there any special tools? For instance how do you remove the front coil springs?
It’s not too bad. We’re working hard on a full length tutorial video for this system on the Ram trucks.
CJC Off Road Great idea to do video! That would be very helpful. Does this basic Carli system also work for the F250?
Ive got a 2500. If i added this level kit, would I have to add airbags to the rear as well for towing or can I leave it as is?
You can do either depending on your use case.
Another fantastic video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Fox rates their fluid down to -55 degrees! Shoot us an email if you don't mind.
Is this just for the Cummins diesel or will it work for the Hemi? Your website says "designed for diesel applications only."
We have options that work for Hemi truck too using a combination of Thuren and Carli parts.
What do y'all recommend to add about an inch in the rear to compensate for towing with this leveling kit set up? I hate to see leveled and lifted tricks that are sagging to the pavement when towing. What kind of droop would this system cause over factory while under weight/towing?
This system maintains the factory rear coils, meaning it maintains factory rear load capacity and squat when towing!
What do you suggest to prevent typical squat when loaded? Air bags to level back up? Like Bryant, I'm not a fan of the truck sagging when towing. Love the videos. Thanks in advance for your response
anything on the gas 7.3 Ford set up or should I just get the diesel level kit and call it a day
never. the diesel engine is a lot heavier then a gas engine and what your paying for wont be lifted the right hieght or ride how it should. that goes for any lift kit not just theirs. you need the gas lift for the gas engine
Carli is hard at work producing the 7.3 specific spring and shock tunes. Just hang in a couple months and the wait will be well worth it!
Why didn't you guys do a video on my truck ☹☹☹
Would the rear fox shocks be long enough if I decided to add a 1" spacer in the rear? I just like the rake look but like a little bit of lift.
We never recommend adding spacers to a Ram 2500 without also doing sway bar end links and a track bar drop.
@@CJCOffRoad I completely understand but I occasionally tow and carry heavy loads in the bed and that is why I want to know if the your fox shocks come long enough for a one inch spacer in the rear? Thanks.
I just got new tires. 33s on stock suspension. I want that better ride of the Carli system. How bad is it gonna look with everything else stock on 33s
Not bad at all, and it will ride way better!
I have the kit, but didn’t get the shocks with it. I just want the shocks, where could I find it? I did the 2.5 leveling kit
We sell them on our website!
If I went with this kit on the link below will I need to do any modifications on my 2014 2500 Ram? Everything is bone stock on my truck.

I have a f350 diesel 2020 can i get this carli kit how much and which one? its a long bed crew cab 4x4
You can, here’s a link: www.cjcoffroad.com/Carli-2017-Ford-Super-Duty-Front-Leveling-Kit-p/cs-flvl-sig-17.htm
Are there different part numbers for the gas vs Diesel engines? Major weight differences there.
This system is NOT for gas trucks. We have separate systems for those due to the weight difference.
Love this wheel/tire combo and the stance of the Carli Suspension. I have front splash guards on my 2022 Ram 2500. Will this pose a problem if I put the same wheel and tire setup?
It would be pretty tight with 37s, but exact fit all depends on what mud flap, wheel and tire.
It would be the same method wheels and instead of nittos it would be the toyo open country at III's. Thinking of purchasing from your website.
Do you guys do builds for a ram 1500 gasoline truck?
We do! Check this video out: ua-cam.com/video/AW0K41aJlgA/v-deo.html
Would you reccomend new upper control arms for the angle with this kit?
Do I need to swap out my stock wheels when upgrading to 37’s with this kit?
Any news/future Carli products for the Ram Air suspension setups?
Carli has plans drawn up, but production hasn't started yet!
Tell us more about the gold rims behind you please
They are Innov8 wheels. They are a forged beadlock. And super sweet.
They are a Forged wheel made by a company called Innov8 Racing in both beadlock and simulated bead lock. Here's a link: www.cjcoffroad.com/Innov8-Racing-Forged-Wheels-s/310.htm
Looking for this set up for my 19 3500 SRW with factory self leveling rear airbags... have it?
You can run this system on those trucks, but there’s actually a purpose built kit for the air assist 3500s.
Thinking about putting this on my ram but tow daily will I need to add air bags? I don’t want to squat
This leveling kit maintains factory payload and towing specs since it retains the factory rear springs!
I have a question. I own a 2017 ram 1500 express 4x2. I tow a 20ft trailer weigh in about 7500 lbs six days per week. I'm interested in a suspension leveling kit. What do you recomend
do you Recommend Radius Arm drops? or can you get away with them
We usually don't install them with 2.5" leveling coils. We do with 3" and taller coils on 2014+ Ram trucks though.
Re-gear for 37’s?
Nope! No real need!
ok sorry to be behind un the times, just bought a beautiful 2010 dodge 2500 and would like to level :) what do you recommend and i saw in 1 video you had other shops that you work with you might recommend. we are in south Carolina thanks so much for your expertise
If you don't mind, email us at sales@cjcoffroad.com so we can help!
Anything similar for the Rebel '16? Or will this fit?
If i get this leveling kit with the same tire and wheels through the links, do i need to do trimming at all?
Yes this set up will require mild trimming of the plastic fender liner. We have a video of the process on our channel. It shows a 4th gen, but the trimming is identical.
@@CJCOffRoad thank you, i will be ordering soon :)
Do you have to trim the fender wall with the 37s and a leveling kit on this 5th gen cummins?
It all depends on the wheel spec! With the correct specs, you only need to trim the plastic fender liner. To fit 37s on a Ram truck we recommend a +18 to +27 offset wheel that is no wider than 9.5.”
Is there a kit for a ram rebel 1500?
CJC, I need some advice. 2019 ram 2500 diesel with factory rear air assist. Couple questions:
Can this kit be upgraded to the king pin top kit in the future.
Like if i buy this now and then just upgrade the shocks later. Are all the other parts the same.
Anything for 2018 Ram 1500
Hi I have a question, I bought a carli suspension I wanted to know why my coil looks curved?
I have a 2020 ram 2500.
Likely that's due to improper coil seating from install, or improper alignment! Both are easy to fix!
Thanks
I was looking to order this. Did it change from the Fox shocks?
This is what I want for my 2500. Is there anybody in the northern Texas area that you guys would recommend that could install these on my truck?
Absolutely! Send us an email to sales@cjcoffroad.com and we can get you set up.
Was there a gear change going to the 37’s and if not, why not?
Not for this customer. These trucks really don’t need to be re-geared unless the customer feels strongly about it.
Will the kit highlighted in this video work on a truck with the factory rear air suspension? I'm interested in a leveling kit with front spring, shock and track bar, but need something that does not require replacing the factory rear air.
We have a whole line of systems specifically for the factory air Ram 2500 trucks! www.cjcoffroad.com/collections/2014-ram-2500-carli-air-ride-leveling-systems
Is there any way to upgrade to remote reservoir shocks on this kit.
Sure! Move to the pintop leveling shock package!
Just got a 2022 f350 and want a leveling kit. Do you prefer the Carli level or the synergy level?
Both are solid, but we find Carli gives more options and room for progression and improved ride.
Do you have to use 18” wheels? Can we use 20” wheels or is there something else that has to be done?
You can use any diameter wheel you want!
Shoot us an email so we can help! Happy to recommend the best setup for your needs. If you don't mind, please include the exact (or as exact as possible) weight of your front bumper and accessories as that's key to recommending the best coil for the job. Our email is: Sales@cjcoffroad.com.
@@CJCOffRoad Thanks will do...
What about the rear auto level? I just bought a ‘22 3500. I would like to get this levelling kit, is there anything needed for the rear?
We have a specific system for those trucks! www.cjcoffroad.com/collections/2019-ram-3500-carli-suspension-systems/products/carli-suspension-3-pintop-2-5-suspension-system-2013-2020-ram-3500-6-7l-cummins-with-factory-air-assist
Can you run factory 20” wheels?
Do they make a kit for a 13’ 2500? Can’t seem to find on your site.
They do, shop as if you have a 2012 Ram 2500.
Just purchased a 2019 Ram 1500 2wd new body style and I plan to put on a 2.5 front leveling kit with 35x12.5 tires on 18x9 wheels! Does anyone have any knowledge as to if this would cause any rubbing? If so what can be done to combat that issue? Also, will I absolutely need to purchase to control arms? And why? (First time truck buyer & first time dealing with large wheels/tires and any type of leveling kit)
I have a 2.5 inch leveling kit, i clear 35 inch tires on a 20x9 whee with 0 offset. All i had to do was remove the splash guard on the rocker panels and pull the liners back. I have no rubbing at all👍👍
Hey CJC guys 2 questions… 2020 Ram with 35’s (adding Carli leveling kit with fox shocks & torsion/sway bar)… 1. what do you recommend for adjusting the speedometer with the larger tires? 2. What are your thoughts on a peddle monster to get rid if the lag? Thanks
We recommend using an AEV ProCal SNAP to change tire size, and the pedal monster is perfect to get rid of any lag!
@@CJCOffRoad really appreciate the info. I’ll order one now. Also, what do you recommend for tire pressure? the shop put my rears up to 80 and my fronts around 65. (2020 RAM 2500 Diesel 4wd w/ 35s Nitto Ridgegrapler on 18”)
That's WAY high! We say about 40 front and 30 rear for proper tire wear, but doing the chalk line test will give you an answer for your exact configuration. Every truck is a little different!
@@CJCOffRoad i’ll have to search for your chalk line video lol
