Came to see how the bushing was done. I'm re-doing my front suspension, and since I am in there, this bushing is getting replaced. I will have the whole rack out, so the bushing job will be easier. Thanks for making this video.
Man shes a beauty! Nice find 👍
on my Canadian 87' fiero the passenger front is the only wheel that has some wobble.
i will do this fix👍
as far as i know it was fixed up maybe 15 years ago.
other than bit of rust is still pretty good.
Hope it solves the problem!
I would suggest looking at swapping out the Iron Puke engine with either an ecotec/Quad 4 version.
You've got an actual glovebox?!? 😲
They were sold as an aftermarket option around the time fieros we're selling from factory, they may still be available!
Great job but it would have been nice if u would have shown a close up of where u taped it and all .
I have a 86 SE V6 and lv it. If u want it to drive better in the rain or normal weather and handle better I recommend putting 16 inch rims on it. I 16 rims on mine and I lv it a 100 times better. A lot smoother ride.
What are you cleaning the EGR Valve with? And are you pumping it to work the cleaner through, or dislodge anything, or what? Does the cleaner evaporate, or do you have to dry out the valve before reinstalling,...?
I used throttle body cleaner. It evaporates, use it to spray out the carbon building and drip out. You can use a little tooth brush or q-tip too, but be sure none of the bristles or fibers get left in there. Yes you can pump it (actuate it) to help release more of the carbon.
Beautiful Fiero! 👍
Thanks! It'll be up for auction soon!
This is the BEST video you ever made!! The only way it could be better is to see your face!!☺
Is this the original Talbot YELLOW or is it ? good looking paint. Did you sell it?
The car was repainted at one point in the original factory color. I did end up selling it to a local enthusiast and he is keeping it and taking care of it very well. I was glad to find someone that wanted it to stay in great condition, alot of people wanted to buy it for a daily driver!
@@TheCherryGarage Cool thank you.
1.) congratulations on your awesomely clean fiero!
2.) you need to buy yourself a service manual!
3.) you did this the hardest way possible 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks! I have a service manual that came with the car :) it doesn't reference taking out the inner tie rod bushing though. It is a hanes manual however.
And yes I did do it the debatable hard way, however, removing the steering rack most always results in broken bolts which I wanted to avoid. So I took the somewhat easier route.
Thanks for the sub though!!
Feel free to let everyone know the easier way!
And I'm selling the fiero soon 😬😁
Bro, the camera work is killing me. Wish I could've seen the whole video.
Sorry my man, it was attached to my head and I could have a preview of the shot.
We will improve it next time
The glove box is not factory. I have a box for my fiero too, it really helps putting small things away. Love the car though.
Oh dang, I didn't know that!! Good point!
Also thanks!
