Narifamen alas, we rarely think use the marker until we get far enough in that we need it. Lol
the double jump also gives you the ability to dive kick. If you equip a boot weapon the dive kick does the same damage as a regular attack.
You can use this to bounce your enemies to death, like a murderous Tigger

I can’t find 0.01% of the map for the 100% achievement and it’s absolute pain
I pause and alt-tab to my notes in a text file and document the location and description of anything I can't access and what I believe I'd need to get there

That Zangetsu guy is pretty good. He's pretty tall compared the protagonist, he's a big boss. Too bad the fire on his sword gives him no tactical advantage whatsoever.

This game is an extended version of that feeling you get when you pick up the bikini armour in Persona and it's statistically better than any other armour. Also every time he said David Hayter was Geralt's Voice Actor made me die inside.

Oh boy :) Persona 3 Portable had me grind hours for the sake of the Maid outfits, which offered huge stat boosts especially if you played as the female protagonist.
"Moonwalker" achievement is a lovely reference to Symphony of the Night, Alucard could backstep through the game and would move faster. It's nice that they let MIRIAM do the same thing here in Bloodstained : Waifu of the Souls.

There's the second "bad ending". I missed it my first playthrough, too. It was more disappointing than the first "bad ending".
Also, Miriam is a pretty cool character.
Watched this video before I went to sleep and damn it was hell of a journey!
You know there are vids that has couple of moments on which you can comment about and feel smart and safe. But not this video. There is so much to it. From beginning till the end this is the piece of art. Waifus, jokes about cats, jokes about everything (I can’t list all of them), video and sound editing (sometimes I can’t figure out what’s in the game and what’s your editing), occasional Sweeney Todd musical, Vaati impression and I can go on forever with this list. Indeimaus at its finest.
It’s just so entertaining to watch even though I basically give a shit about all the games except Soulsborne and Elder Scrolls. So you’re the only gaming channel I follow (and dunkey).
For real though, I appreciate all of your content (btw you should rename your alien unboxing - «me after storming area 51» while this meme is still relevant) but this vid is exceptionally good and is one of your best videos to-date. Keep it up dude! You’re doing God’s work.

P. S I’m not sure if «what game should I play?» was a joke question but I’ll answer it anyway. It would be actually cool if you played some not indie games (I say it to the guy whose name is literally INDEImaus) like Morrowind, Skyrim or even ESO if you’re into it. If no, well, I’ll watch anything :)

And also yes Alfred is the old man with the shield and the prequel game Miriam, (btw this is me being creative using her name) Zangetsu, Alfred and Gebel are all the characters you play in the prequel game

And keep in mind most of you made this whole thing possible. Granted, you may have also enabled Mighty Number Nine to be a thing, but this was a very successful Kickstarter too. To see it still getting content after three years is amazing; a sequel to its spinoff, a Castlevania Classic mode, and most recently a guest star DLC. It's amazing to see a crowdfunded project go beyond what they promise.

A lot of the animation is pretty wonky, especially cutscene parts but the game overall is pretty fun. Also vampire lady boss is best waifu. If you disagree, congratulations, you have the wrong opinion. :^)
I’d actually be interested in seeing a dmc 5 play through. Not too long of a game and there’s some Miriam level waifus.

I'd love to see you play Asura's Wrath. It's pretty short (5 or 6 hours + an hour and a half for the dlc fights against Street Fighter characters and god), has some Miriam tier waifus, and the first major boss is the size of the Earth.

I will admit the voice reminds me of Geralt but it reminded me a lot more about solid snake, which is why I searched up the character and he is indeed voiced by David Hayter. Amazing.

Bloodstained is a great game, but it's definitely not better than Hollow Knight. I think that game spoiled me when it comes to looking for good Metroidvania games. I also found the bosses far too easy even on the hardest difficulty. Spamming Riga Storaema is pretty insane, I barely even had to use my greatsword Eternal Blue after I crafted it. It's fun to melee with the skill that makes shadow duplicates of you though.

Really late to this but if you think that was all the bosses it's because you didn't get the secret tome from the librarian after completing 99% of the map and then went to the Glaciar Tomb to have him go after you to retrieve it.

Honestly ALOT of spells in this game is way overpowered, even early on.
The only reason you have trouble with bosses is because you're using the same spell.
I pretty much first try every single bosses after my first encounter with Zengatsu because that game really becomes way too easy with overpowered spells and food bonuses.
I don't even need to use consumable too.
The thing that kill me the most is actually the spikes XD.
I can see the creator put ALOT of effort into adding like 100 spells and abilities and 200+ different weapons in the game, but the overall balance of this game is really poor.
Unlike Hollow Knight it literally has 0 challenge if you upgrade your spells to lv9.
Hollow Knight may have less abilities, but it makes the balance much easier in general, and making sure most bosses are a challenge.
For final boss I pretty much didn't even get to see his attack because 8 bit fireball kills him in 3 hits...
I am sorry, but this is infinitely better than The Hollow Knight! First of all its way more vibrant and the locations are more versatile literally filled with various biomes! Whilst in HK its the same boring biome with a few variations here and there! There are no fiery burning hellish locations, switched by frozen undergrounds, caves and waterways, then followed by the sandy areas, various types of castle styled areas, clock towers etc in the Hollow Knight...for that alone ROTN is better! And bosses are way more entertaining...

I like how near the end you finally learned how GREAT the painting ability is, and if you didn't notice at some point you can go a pure STR / ATK build and pretty much wreck everything.

I grew bored of Hollow Knight and couldn't finish the game, whereas I could finish this game. I think Hollow Knight is a good game from the part of it I experienced, but it's not some masterpiece like all the journalists make it out to be.

I just beat got this game and 100% it in two weeks. this was a fantastic game that I really enjoyed. I thought it was a little easy. I went with swords at first but I switched to great swords and I just smashed everything. the extra bosses where too easy. at the end I was hitting for 600+ per swing and critring between 1100-1200.
I'm thinking of doing a nightmare run.
Hard mode is definetly the way to go. The bosses even have different mechanics. The first boss is stupid hard but after that it becomes a really good challenge.
100% agree with you on hollow knight being the best metroidvania of all time. Its my favorite game of all time.
