Very surreal. I think what makes that feeling even stronger is how disconnected or weird everyone acts. All the crap that's happened to Brian and he never really looks that worried given the situation. He's just like, "Oh gosh gollie gee wilikers, a corpse. Well darn that's a bit of a spook." The environment doesn't seem to effect anyone. No matter what the environment is, every character finds a way to brush it off. Like Kate when she was in the poison gas room. "Oh darn, I tried holding my breathe but that didn't work. Lol, I almost died. ^O^" Like, oi lady! You almost died in that room! Also there was the weird hand recorder thing! Is no one going to take that even slightly seriously? Very surreal game. ... I need to go lie down now.

Hey, real quick, thank you for making a video about Yuppie Psycho. Not only did I really love it, but I also thought it was sorely underrated. Seeing it on your channel was a genuine joy, one I cannot match with my own meager efforts at entertainment. And, yes, if Kate dies, we riot.
This game is so good. Glad to see it getting some play and recognition. Def worth the 16 dollar price tag. Cant wait to see more from this dev. Also super enjoyed your commentary and video, got a sub from me fo sho!

Since last year's Shocktober you played some RPG horror game, I recommend "Mogeko Castle". The dark and gore implications in the game is really good. Of course, it's "implications". Some doesn't happen on screen but some does.
A rich couple couldn't have children, so they decided to adopt one... from the black market (because I guess doing it legally wasn't fun enough). They got themselves some kind of kitsune girl, and just like that, they got extremely lucky and things were going great for them ! So great that they managed to have a kid of their own ! They raised their daughter, Rei, and the kitsune, Domori, as sisters, but they didn't let Domori out. Probably because she was precious and dangerous. Then, as we see in the flashback, Rei gets bored of always playing with Domori, and this loneliness is exploited by the snake (some kind of evil imaginary friend created by her powers from when she was alone in the world, I guess), who convinced her to switch body with Rei. But then, the snake froze Rei's body with Domori inside, and started corrupting the enterprise. The parents, who thought Domori (actually Rei in her body) was responsible, did the most natural thing : BURN HER ALIVE. Parents of the year. So Rei died in Domori's body, the snake used Domori's powers to corrupt the society even further, while the parents focused on recreating their daughter as an AI/robot. But before they could achieve this, they died, leaving the company leaderless. Years later, some Z-class (the lowest class, who don't even have their own names, just numbers), working as a janitor in this hellscape of a company, found the corpse of someone looking just like him : Mr. Hugo. So he took his identity, and worked his way through the company, working with the Witch (the snake) to remove any obstacles, waiting patiently until one day, his status as the most senior employee would de facto make him the CEO (it's a rule that's explained by Marsall). Meanwhile, Sintra, the AI based on Rei, hired a bunch of people through the years so they could defeat the Witch. Most of them died (including Corvo, who was betrayed by Hugo), then Brian came in, and managed to build a complete Sintrabot, allowing Rei to regain her former memories, and confront the snake. At the end, Re is back in her body, Domori is in the robot, and we all hope Brian is going to enjoy his retirement as Witch Hunter. I may have forgot some key informations, or got some wrongs, but to be fair, I didn't play the game, I just watched TomatoGaming's livestream before, while playing some other thing on the side, so take it with a grain of salt. LorePlayingGame out ! o/
(gets a bit grim) Also little bits at the end of the credits reveal when Hugo was still a janitor he would talk to Corvo(who was also a witch hunter) and talked about becoming more than what he was but was discouraged. Corvo gave Hugo the red cape(see Hugo as Frog Man) and told him something along the lines of "every hope needs a leap of faith" which lead Hugo to leap often, like a frog. After the credits Hugo is seen taking his last leap, off of the building. -------------- Extra tid bits--------------- Another Witch Hunter was a woman that gave people hope that worker actually pray to and the soul of the woman guides Brain to Rei's grave. It is also hinted at that the man in the cabinet at around 10:50 was also a hunter that got corrupted by the witch. Hinting that most of the monsters are corrupted Hunters but only 3 hunters got anywhere close to the witch. Corvo, the Woman that gave people home, and a man that helped lead the "union". The guy that helped Brain is the new workers Union -resistance- leader but after they tell Brian about the Union and how Hugo becoming CEO would be a bad thing they never really show up again. --------------------------------------------------IMO------------------------------------- (just an idea i had) I feel the ending 1/3 was quiet a bit out of order if you see the full length of the game. It feels all over the place and the pace is odd and slow in some parts. I would have maybe had rearranged a bit like.... Brain uses Corvo's card and learns about the Union, how Hugo is evil soon to be CEO He tries to go to the PC to get info on how to stop Hugo but Rei is broken He tries to go get her fixed but then he is stopped to do the party to not show he is the hunter Gets exposed as hunter and is stuck in evil elevator Union saves him and while he is knocked out he sees the scene in 26:04 Wakes up in the lab with Mr. Doshi 28:50 Brain is sent out to find Rei's head He puts on the Yuppie Mask and enters art gallery The art tells him-cutscene- about Rei and Domori and leads false idea that Domori did it maliciously like their parents thought happened. Brain finds Rei's head and while on his way back to the lab he runs into his friends wrapped up. Rei reminds him of the scene he seen while knocked out and it's up to the player to save them, kill them or just go put Rei together. Rei, put together, with a bit more connection between the two for the best friend hug moment Rei leads Brian to find the witch Snake shows up and drags Rei away through water Water level Scene like 32:00 but shows Domori's point of view as opposed to the art gallery scene. Rest of the ending similar to the game.
@@LorePlayingGame LorePlayingGame you forgot the fact that the Sintra-Robots used to be numerous but they got destroyed one by one by a unknown force aka the snake and the repaired (the mechanic guy collected all the still working parts because he was obsessed with the Sintrabots and was only one part left from bringing her back) one would have fallen to said madness as well if not for the main character keeping it at bay. Also i guess that the snake was always bound to the kitsune girl and mainly responible for the terrible fate that all of her previous owners suffered off while playing it off as neglegence
Been on an indie binge and I must say this is my favorite video from you. Love all the effort you put into your videos! Definitely deserve more recognition.
This game was super cool, until the last quarter of the game imo I feel like a lot of the obstacles at the end just existed so that you didn't just walk for a bit and win Rather than existing to be fun/interactive
It feels incomplete. The game is rushed after the party, the united sintracorp syndicate revolutionaries is a plot hole that isn't really explored. It definitely feels like they intended there to be more to it but they ended development prematurely. I felt the same way about Night in the Woods. Aesthetically I liked both of them and I saw the potential there but in both games, you reach the ending and go, that's it?

I personally think the endgame is fine, thought I will admit there should've been 2 more chapters for pacing purposes. I mean the 2nd optional route in the dlc mostly resolves the problems with the final part of the game.
@4:43 Luke is his name. Nice to see someone else who still watches. Can't blame people for dropping out during the awful season 7 or 8, but they are really missing out with season 9
One of my favorite games I’ve played in years. Great survival horror gameplay, interesting story, and plain funny =) Playing Disco Elysium now - highly recommended.
Dude this game is gorgeous. I thought I was sick of pixel art but this made me realize I'm only sick of hyper detailed pixel art like Blasphemous. I really love how clean this game looks.
Chapman is a real lad. He blows a ring EVERY time he puffs a smoke. And if some prom dates to approach him, he makes sure to introduce himself and let the worm know it’s place.
The maker of the soundtrack Michael Kelly is also the one who made the ost for VA11HALLA which is also an amazing game which I hope you will play one day
damn man. you pick the best games, luv your vids. I'd watch uncut gameplays if you'd ever consider doing those. even tho I enjoy the way you cut your vids. never gets boring. but... since you play the whole game anyway, you can try putting on a full gameplay next to a standard vid and see how it's recieved by your faithful subscribers. you are in my top 3 youtubers after some thought. you are my favorite as I never miss a single video. and if I miss one or want to first play through the game myself I always come back gotta get on that patreon train someday soon. you'll be my first xD for now I'm just mad at myself I won't get the shocktober shirt as its fcking awesome and I'm poor as a church mouse I'm a mess that can't save a dollar if my life depended on it. but you keep up good work and brighten my day...with the creepiest games gameplay preferably. have an awesome day, week, month... year? life. and remember how much you matter. I almost got late to job because of your vid. and just as I came back and turned on my pc I wanted nothing more than to watch the other half. In fact. everyone who bothered to read this comment. have a lovely day. I write comments once a year but when I do... I write 'em too long. and this is a short one. gimme more shocktober! so I have what to do after work at 2 AM anyways. talk to ya in a year or two.

I personally think the endgame is fine, thought I will admit there should've been 2 more chapters for pacing purposes. I mean the 2nd optional route in the dlc mostly resolves the problems with the final part of the game.
Aw man, I wish I could've gotten the Shocktober shirt while it still existed
I love the lapse in context of why you were on a swing
You thought I was horror game
YOU ABSOLUTE FOOL
AM METROIDVANIA
BAMBOOZLED AGAIN
The next time indeimaus talks imagine him overusing its hands and it'll make the video 10 times better I promise you
that music that played when he was on the swing at like 13 mins was fire.
The true horror is the dystopian society where there are citizens that aren’t even worth names
@4:43 Luke is his name. Nice to see someone else who still watches. Can't blame people for dropping out during the awful season 7 or 8, but they are really missing out with season 9
5:00 - Achievement earned: Pinkeye (I wish...)
That opening theme was dope.
Gods this was extremely enthralling
One of my favorite games I’ve played in years. Great survival horror gameplay, interesting story, and plain funny =)
Playing Disco Elysium now - highly recommended.
Tell your mom I said to tell you happy birthday, but not to tell you that I told her to tell you.
i was wondering why some of the music sounded similar and of course in the credits i see the guy who did va11halla . amazing work
Indeimaus : says on thing in french and absolutely butchers the pronunciation of it
My french ass : *It's magnificent, mon ami !*
26:37 I like those simple beats in the ost; builds tension.
Man, this game, I actually can't relate to it at all...
But gosh, it's so relatable.
I left a like because I would've left the building by now.
Dude this game is gorgeous. I thought I was sick of pixel art but this made me realize I'm only sick of hyper detailed pixel art like Blasphemous. I really love how clean this game looks.
5:06 Nice cameo nl
7:29
Well I would have left the building by now so I am legally obligated to like otherwise a strike team will get me
Got this today in a Humble Bundle, gotta say it's a pretty great game as rpg maker games go. The animations and music are incredible.
It’s not rpgmaker, it’s just pixel art
Chapman is a real lad.
He blows a ring EVERY time he puffs a smoke. And if some prom dates to approach him, he makes sure to introduce himself and let the worm know it’s place.
Awesome video, man! Wonderful commentary and editing as always.
damn, this was WILD! and the soundtrack really is fantastic.
Oh my god! That montage was amazing
the quality of the pixel art in this game is amazing, especially the animation.
Happy Birthday, Mausey boy.
Keep it up my dude. You are and underrated creator. Keep it going and trust me you'll be big.
17:22 Oh hey, it's Corona-chan
11:25 I guess John Wick is working tonight.
happy birthday homie hope u have a h*ckin good one!
The cool thing about these kinda games is how many waifus we get
Also the amount of editing in these videos is so good. =)
The maker of the soundtrack Michael Kelly is also the one who made the ost for VA11HALLA which is also an amazing game which I hope you will play one day
The production of this video is amazing!!
damn man.
you pick the best games, luv your vids.
I'd watch uncut gameplays if you'd ever consider doing those.
even tho I enjoy the way you cut your vids. never gets boring.
but... since you play the whole game anyway, you can try putting on a full gameplay next to a standard vid and see how it's recieved by your faithful subscribers.
you are in my top 3 youtubers
after some thought. you are my favorite as I never miss a single video. and if I miss one or want to first play through the game myself I always come back
gotta get on that patreon train someday soon. you'll be my first xD
for now I'm just mad at myself I won't get the shocktober shirt as its fcking awesome and I'm poor as a church mouse
I'm a mess that can't save a dollar if my life depended on it. but you keep up good work and brighten my day...with the creepiest games gameplay preferably.
have an awesome day, week, month... year? life.
and remember how much you matter. I almost got late to job because of your vid. and just as I came back and turned on my pc I wanted nothing more than to watch the other half.
In fact. everyone who bothered to read this comment. have a lovely day.
I write comments once a year but when I do... I write 'em too long. and this is a short one.
gimme more shocktober!
so I have what to do after work at 2 AM
anyways. talk to ya in a year or two.
