I was working on a sewing project and I have a whole bunch of jars that I want to create labels for. Your idea about dimensions what's really helpful and unique.Thank you God bless
The FIRST tutorial I pulled up on the subject I was looking for and you nailed it!!! Thank you so much. I said to myself "self--there has got to be a quicker...easier AND...AND...AND most importantly---a cheaper way". You just save me 15 minutes w/GEICO!!! Nawww but definitely just helped me save $$$. Thank you sooooo much!!!!!!
+Marie Johnson Thanks for watching! Your are so right, I hate watching ten different you-videos to get the information I need. I 'm so glad this video helped you :O)
Thank you so much for this. Just found your channel and I'm so glad I did. I just started my own home business and I've been spending so much on labels and stickers out of frustration I decided to check up on UA-cam and I'm so glad for this. It's a gradual process but I believe with your tutorial i can perfectly make mine. Just one question how to I cut this after making several of the labels on one sheet. And what type of A4 sheet can I use? Thanks ones again.
Thank you so much. I been looking to have my labels made, and I new knew it could be done Microsoft word. Thanks so much. Could you show how to print and transfer to a transfer paper ?
it's very helpful.... i've been doing my label using excel worksheet.... the idea is the same... BUT, the part where you group them together is the real trick!!!! Love it!
I googled the size fir the labels I needed. Then I saw another video where the lady saved her pdf, then went to a label site to create your own & she uploaded the image from the saved pdf & formatted on the label site how she wanted before she made the purchase. Hope this helps. I'm learning too
Thank you so much! I'm just starting an online business and I'll need labels for everything, including shipping labels. Wow, I didn't know Word could do all this. Thanks again. A terrific video.
I have spent over an hour listening to someone else's directions as to how to do this same kind of tutorial. I give you an A for instruction. It was simple, understandable and timely. I will have to go back over this but it's ok. Thanks.
Thanks so much. I have been looking everywhere for ideas on how to do labels because I didn't want to buy sticker paper - it's too expensive but I noticed you said you could use mod podge. This makes it so much easier to experiment rather than wasting expensive paper.
Hello . Thanks for including Publisher in your videos. I work with Publisher for everything. I encourage everyone to practice working with it, you wont regret it. Regards
Thank you! I knew how to do all this before they undated to Windows 10! Since then, I've been struggling to find all the different elements. Your excellent video has helped me a lot :-)
Hi I just post to say thanks for sharing this video. My question is is when you hold down ctrl button on the keyboard what else do you press along with it before grouping it together; just asking. I look forward to your reply as soon as possible.
your video tutorial was easy to follow and a great help, thank you so much. I had problems as the grouping wouldn't work as per video, till I found, in Drawing Tools" a "group" command that worked, (may help others)...
This is a very helpful and needed video. You explained everything so well that a child could follow it. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Great Video! Exactly what I have been trying to figure out. Subscribing 😁
I like this tag idea. I do have a question though to get your opinion. I want to make tags for my furniture pieces that I refinish for my store. I didn't want them to be stickers necessarily. I was going to fancy them up with maybe layering decorative paper and gluing them together. I could use these printable tags to glue onto the decorative cardstock. The problem for me would be cutting them out because I am horrible at cutting anything straight. I wanted an easy and cute plan and you guys who are the crafty experts can point me in the right direction. Thanks!
Kathleen Herman I understand completely. I can't cut a straight line to save my life. My suggest for you is to buy a paper punch( you can them at any craft store, hobby lobby has them 40% off every other week) in the shape of the labels you created( print your labels and bring they with you to the store to make the sure the punch is large enough) . You can print your labels on card stock and just hand punch out your tags. If you want to add decorative paper behind the tags buy two different sizes of the same paper punch. Hope this helps! I would love to see a picture of your finished tags. Blessings Shemi
Hi shemi thanks so much for your tutorial absolutely wonderful I just had a question I don't have any pictures saved and I like to make tags to put when I bake so I have to look and find images I don't know how to do that I just saw another tutorial they said something about PNG file I don't know what that is not to computer savvy and I'm trying to teach myself how to make the tags any suggestions any tutorials that you may have to help
+9mccloud Thanks so much for watching! The answer to your question is to right click your label ( or rather the middle circle which ever circle has the lines you want to remove) go to format shape and select the no line , no color option. Let know if you need me to show you how to do this in a video. Have a great day :0)
can you help me make a candy wrapper for a Hershey bar, for my daughters sweet sixteen party? also what type of paper do you use to print the label on?
+Carla Harris I like to use sticker paper and I cut out the shape of my labels. I buy the sticker paper at all Wal-Mart in the office section, by the mailing labels. I have also used the large mail labels, just measure them before you make the labels in MS Word. Size the labels you create to the measurements of the labels. Hope that answers your question. Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for doing this vid. I was hopelessly lost on how to do this. Will it work the same if I have a label that has its own template that I can load? Then just do the magical part with the components?
I believe so! If you are using a template, download it and enter the information you want to in the label and print. The Avery website has lots of great free templates. I glad this video helped you and thanks for watching!
its a big help for people who really want to learn something new.. And you are such a kind person cos you impart your knowledge to the whole world... =)
So i have made my label and got all the way to the end and it won't allow me to group them together....microsoft word will only let me copy the shape without the text which means i will have to keep copying all of the shapes and keep retyping the text boxes for all the others....any other suggestion that u may have so this won't be so time consuming?????
Yes you can print it as a sticker using sticker paper here's a link to want I used amzn.to/1VVuj9a I use my regular Ink Jet printer you can seal with decoupage if you want.
Hi, Shemi. I would like to know if you could do a tutorial on how to create personalized waterproof labels for plates. You know, like where you can have a pic and message in the middle of a plate (plastic or Paper). For instance, Happy Birthday with a pic of your child.
+Honey Toombs, you make the label any size you want. I layout at my labels the way I want in MS-word and then I print them on sticker paper. If you need to make your labels or tags a specific size, right click on the label . Select auto format shape and select the size tab and resize your label to whatever size you want. Thanks for watching!
+Shemi Dixon hi I have another question. I bought a decorative hole punch should I make the labels a little bigger than the actual hole punch? the hole punch is 1.75" so should I maybe do them 2"?
Shemi, 2 years on and people are still learning from your video tutorial! Thank you for your research, this really helps :)

If you need to make your labels or tags a specific size, right click on the label . Select auto format shape and select the size tab and resize your label to whatever size you want.
