This was THE BEST "how to" video I have seen about making printable. THANK YOU so much!! I have watched tons of these and haven't really been able to master this. I have already created my first one and can't wait to make more. Thank you!
You are an amazing teacher - the step-by-step instructions that you gave, without assuming that I knew something I didn't, was exactly what I needed! By far the most helpful video I've seen. And the plug for the freebies was super helpful!! Thank you so much.
I really enjoyed the detailed descriptions. I knew some, but not all of your information you taught. It was very helpful, and assisted me in some projects that I had been working on. Thanks for the information, especially the free graphics information.
Great job Lisa! I always wanted to learn how to create fancy and coordinated color activities for our students! You modeled it so clear and easy to understand!
Love your video. The best so far and you explain it so well. I had tried making my own printables but no video explained as well as yours. Even though I'm using 2016 PowerPoint I made my first printable. Thank you and God bless you. Thanks also for the resource My Cute Clipart. Now my journal will look so super sweet. ~Melissa K.~
I just looked by curiosity but I found out you were great explaining it was easy for me to understand and courage to do by my own. Thanks so much for your help I can't wait for anyone to do for me now I am doing my job for my calling at church.
These clip art pictures are so cool. I just happened upon your site and am absolutely in love. My two daughters are both teachers, as was I for many years, and it will be fun to mke things for their classrooms. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much! I love the rate at which you go, and the way you explain. Thank you so much! There are too many features in PP and most of us only use a few to get through a teaching powerpoint. This is so helpful! Have you ever considered making blank templates like the one you just built? That would be a great addition to those of us in a hurry or still learning.
thank you so much! could you also upload a video on how to make worksheets for early years (grade kg to 2) with all those cartoon drawings for illustration. basically i intend to design workshhets for english and science which require images. thank you! bless.
Yes where to find them, and perhaps if it's possible to find a clip art figure (a boy or a girl) with different actions to illustrate concepts lie verbs/ prepositions / seasons etc.
Yes, that's fairly recent. So, what I would do is just get free ones from TpT itself. If you search by resource type and then select "FREE", you will find loads. My Cute Graphics will still work for your own classroom.
Actually the information is very good. However it' s a bit blury of the buttons where we should go. Somehow, thank you so much for the information you have given❤❤
Thanks. This was very clear and I was able to follow along to most of it though I have a different system and wasn't able to find all the same functions. :) I actually have a number of items I want to sell once I get them into the right format for TpT. The next step for me is finding out how to put my products together with the Power Point cover. The issue is that my products are almost all cards and need to be done using tables and I don't know if it's possible to do them on Power Point. The easiest place to create them is on Excel, but then how do I upload and display them? Thanks for any feedback! :)
Thank you SO much for this great tutorial! It was so helpful! I was wondering about the graphics. The website there says that you should give credit for the images you use from them. Do you do that? Am I missing something? I'd love to hear your opinion on this.
If you're talking about mycutegraphics.com, if you're using the printables in your own classroom, there's no real credit to be given. You are just using them. If you are sharing printables, then I would credit them. Also check out the free stuff creativemarket.com gives away once a week. Also, of course, the free graphics at TpT.
Heidi Johnson Did I fully answer your question? The real issue is, if you're going to use it where people who might need the same thing would see it, credit your source.
Lisa Van Gemert yes, you did. I'm guessing that you just add a thank you page at the end...or is there an easier way to add credits without making another page?
You can do two things: you can make a credit page if you have a lot of them (Shoot me an email at lisa at giftedguru.com and I'll email you mine for an example), or you can just put it in gray, small point font at the bottom of the page in the footer that says, "graphics courtesy of xxx"
Love your videos if I use designs from the website that you got those cliparts from do I need a license to use them if I'm creating them for printables for my shop?
So sorry - just saw this. Yes, the white border is because the printer can't print to the edge of the paper. It's not the PowerPoint, it's the printer. It's all printers, actually!
Hi there! I just read on mycutegraphics terms of use that their graphics may not be used on products that you are intending to sell. This is from their webpage, that we may not use their clipt art on "any tangible products for commercial use that generates a profit for yourself or business."
Unfortunately, terms of service can change. You can find graphics for free on TpT that do allow it. Make sure you credit the designer according to the ToS, of course.
So far, this has been the most clearly presented and easiest to follow tutorial for creating a PowerPoint printable document. Thank you.
Thanks so much!
That was enormously helpful. I am just starting out and this tutorial really broke down the components of creating material.
Stay tuned! I've got new tricks, so I'll be posting some updates!

Thanks so much! I've been thinking about making more to show some other ideas, and this comment is inspiration!
:) That would be wonderful! I also found your website and have bookmarked it. I plan to go back and check out your other posts when I have time.

Thank you so much! I am just getting started on TPT and was wondering how everyone makes their printables! You made it so easy for me :)
You have been so helpful... God bless you!
You're so welcome! I'd love to hear what else you'd like to know how to do or if you'd like more examples.
@@LisaVanGemert you're so amazing 🤗. A banner tutorial would be great.💓
@@thecuriouskitty8349 For a TpT store or a banner like a bunting? :-)
@@LisaVanGemert good morning... both🤭💓

You can also find free graphics on Teachers Pay Teachers to use as backgrounds!
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. Many blessings
This is a wonderful and helpful video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Thankful I found your video! It was so clear and helpful! Thanks!
The my cute graphics site says the stock is only free for personal and educational use. What resource do you use for commercial products eg on etsy?
Thank you so much! I love the rate at which you go, and the way you explain. Thank you so much! There are too many features in PP and most of us only use a few to get through a teaching powerpoint. Thank you so much for the feedback. I hadn't considered making blank templates, but that's a great idea!
Thank you for the info...love your video..:)
This was perfect! It was exactly the information I was looking for. Thank you!
Thank you! This was very, very helpful!
Do you do planner inserts tutorials
Thank you so much for the wonderful presentation. It was very informative and actually the best video I've seen,
It's very useful. Thank you so much Lisa
Thank you 😊 it has been so helpful
This was so helpful! Thanks so much!
Hi! I love this tutorial! But I can't figure it how to make the white background of the frame disappear like yours in the tutorial. Ideas?
Hi! You need to make it transparent instead of white. To do that, click on "shape fill" and choose "no fill."
thank you so much! could you also upload a video on how to make worksheets for early years (grade kg to 2) with all those cartoon drawings for illustration. basically i intend to design workshhets for english and science which require images. thank you! bless.
Do you mean just how to add in the pictures? Do you mean where to find them? I'm happy to do so if you let me know what you mean more specifically.
Yes where to find them, and perhaps if it's possible to find a clip art figure (a boy or a girl) with different actions to illustrate concepts lie verbs/ prepositions / seasons etc.
Okay, I'll work on that!
It looks like My Cute Graphics is no longer allowing commercial use, like selling on TpT?
Yes, that's fairly recent. So, what I would do is just get free ones from TpT itself. If you search by resource type and then select "FREE", you will find loads. My Cute Graphics will still work for your own classroom.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Your video is awesome. But Im having trouble with my grid lines. I can only get 2 that divide my page into 4. Im using Mac. Do you have any advice?
Try this...support.office.com/en-us/article/turn-snap-to-grid-on-or-off-in-powerpoint-2016-for-mac-7b29a072-d533-4ae4-96e4-a310ca167e47
Thank you so much for the mycutegraphics.com tip!!!
Oh, you're so welcome. There are lots of other free great graphics at teacherspayteachers, too, so check those out! :-)
You can get freebies from creativemarket.com, too. Just sign up for a free account to get new ones each week. Just thought of that one!
Thanks so much; Your assistance is much appreciated👍❤️

Hello! Great tutorial. How do you make text editable pages?
That's a great question, and it really needs its own tutorial. I'll record one and upload it within a few days.

Diabetic Coma should not be used as an analogy. Otherwise a very helpful video.
