It's okay to be nervous. I prayed and asked God to take the fear away. Would you know it he did and the day I went in I was ready. I told the doctor and nurses I'm ready for my new lifestyle they smiled at me and said let's go!!! You got this.
Yes' I found out it's a Catholic hospital and they offer you to have a priest come pray for you before you go into surgery. I accepted it I told them I will never turn down prayer.
Hello, I'm seeing all these dates for their journey to being. I go see the doctor on the 10th. I had to take care of things before my surgery. I was scheduled to begin my liquid diet but i had to go and see a ENT first. And that was in November of last year. Its April now. I drink my protein drinks and I still walk around the field at work. Hopefully, when I see him I can start my my journey too. I appreciate you sharing your journey with us.
I shared what to do on this vlog. I wish I had known from the beginning. Take meralax & colance stool softener it’s a pill. You will be thanking me. It works great 👍🏾
I have my surgery in 12 days from now and I was wanting to know did you feel nervous or anything like that? And can you please uplift me in your prayers and I’m glad that your surgery went well too and may you continue to heal and may God continue to heal you as well
Sending prayers your way🙏😌 When you get to the hospital you go in with the biggest smile and let God do the rest. Let the doctors and nurses know you are ready for your new life and tell them lets get started. Thank them for being kind and that should put everyone in a good space and you at ease.
I have a hard time with solids as well. It get to the point where I do not want to eat regular food. However, I remember to chew very slow and long which changes the texture of the food and makes it easier to digest.
Oh no do not let that stop you. Son's are like that, my son did not want me to have it either. He said mom you have lost a lot of weight on your own you do not need that surgery. I had to explain to him that it took me over 4 years to get off 80 pounds and 40 of that was within the last year at the rate I was losing weight it would be another 5 or 10 years. I needed help and I gave it to God it went great. Just go in with a smile and tell the doctor ok lets get this new life started that will put them in a great mood and you at ease. It did for me and the doctors and nurses they were all smiles and happy.
Yes" make sure to read over everything he hands you. Do not be afraid to ask questions. I told my doctor I had a dream he came in tired the day of my surgery. And he looked sleepy that day. He said kids were sick. I told him if he is tired the day of surgery it will be canceled. LOL I was number 2 on surgery day. He was bright and cheery!!
I did pretty good, however I did eat at my cousin party and once at chick-fila only the sandwich and fries. The other days I stuck to the program. It was hard but I did not want any issues with my surgery. Doctor said I was one of the best and quickest he have done.
@@eatingonabudget6785 I was at first but I prayed and gave it over to God. I went in with a smile and said I’m ready for my new life. That put the doctors and nurses in a great space.
Congrats hope everything went well 😊🙏 , I was going to get bariatric surgery in 2010 but I backed up and was already in the process of getting it done 🥹 I think I’m ready to get bariatric surgery wls one day I did my research about bariatric surgery, wls, gastric sleeve and gastric bypass for many years 😊
It have taken me over 15 years to get it done, I kept backing out. However, timing is everything, at 58 years old I had to get it done. I want to enjoy the time I have left on this earth. You will know when the time is right for you. I exhausted all my options. I know what to eat and not to eat, but I could not control it so this was the next best thing.
Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge, Louisiana says prayer also. I love it!!
