  • Meiwa Denki merges the mystery of arts and the logic of technologies.
    Meiwa Denki is an electric company active in a parallel world.
    In 1993, the Art unit was established. Members wear blue work clothes and call their art, nonsense machines, products. They have adopted the style of small and medium sized companies, which have supported Japan's rapid economic growth. Their motto is "The one who does it first wins. The one who got it first wins."
    This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at ted.com/tedx

      I have no clue who he is, and I'm not any closer after this since I can't understand a single word. But I somehow enjoyed the 10 minutes of stuff I did not understand

    Tad tone? Is that a translation error or am I missing something?

    • @AnimeNeverEnds
      @AnimeNeverEnds 6 років тому +4

      otamajakushi means tadpole in japanese, that's why it was translated as such

    • @spookycandytheater270
      @spookycandytheater270 6 років тому

      Otamatone is the English name for it. Tad tone doesn't make sense without enough context xD

    • @andeggbreaks
      @andeggbreaks 5 років тому +1

      It was an attempt at translating otamatone into English so that his comment about tadpoles made sense
