They never come out of no where, you're on a battlefield , expect it. Secure areas. Use covers.
Is that from your TV's lack of sharpness ? Maybe go play in the TV settings and also try to take 1 or 2 seconds at times to spot ennemies by not moving the camera.
Oh yea and if you're on Xbox , it's blurry as fk.
Zant... its battlefield... spawnpoints can come of nowhere XD... at least not as bat as battlefront.
I once spawned in front of a bayonet charge.....

Kind of hard to aim at something you can't even see half the time, window campers, stairway campers, roof top campers, bad enough you have to contend with fog on some maps.
S4LUT3t0LUN4CY I think that's what he kind of meant by...predictive aiming or whatever. you fire a few rounds into spots that players tend to hide in and see if you hit anything.
I use "spot enemy" on my aiming button, so sometimes I don't need to shoot blindly into those spots where they might be.
not to mention when they're in dark ass spots when your enemy is plain out in the open but its too dark to see shit

Coming from the PC and not playing a lot of MP games anyway, I am really struggling a bit when it comes to aiming. Although the biggest problem I have is that for some reason I am having a hard time firing from the hip in close encounters, I almost always try to aim down sights, which costs time and is not helpful anyway in this situation.
But then again, I am playing exclusively as medic and I spend my days healing and reviving anyway. Just a couple of days ago I had a match with 3 or 4 kills, which happened when someone very careless was running right into me, but with 45 revives and 150+ heals. And for some reason, that felt just as satisfying as making lots of kills. :D
Try to pick a gun that has fairly decent hipfire - "Trench" variants are made for this. E.G with the automatico for the assault, the trench variant has almost the same accuracy as when you are ADS. Similar to M5K in Battlefield 3.
I have personally found that the iron sights Mondragon is fairly good for hip firing with medic. Since it's a 3 shot kill anyway.
Try things out and definitely turn on uniform soldier aiming.
O JC Thanks for the answer! I actually had to look up what "uniform soldier aiming" is. I am having problems with the sensitivity when aiming down sights anyway, since I am not exactly used to playing competitively with a controller. I guess I will become better over time, but this should help.
Also, I was not aware that the "trench" variants are specifically for hip firing, so knowing this should help as well.
He explained in the video what it was, but other people may also be able to add detail to it. I think most top level players use it.
What device controller/mouse and platform are you using? Just to be clear.
Yep, the trench variants steer more towards hip fire use. While wearing a gas mask, it makes trench weapons excellent. Since any enemies who don't have good hipfire weapons will suffer when they have to wear theirs.
O JC I kind of missed that. And I am playing the game on my PS4, with a normal DS4.
And I think this information about trench variants is really useful, considering the amount of gas grenades that are flying around all the time.
Furzkampfbomber then most of the information in this video won't quite apply anyway. The aim with controllers is much worse compared to using a mouse. I made the switch and was amazed.
But yeah, always take gas grenades with a trench gun variant.
I've always blamed the fact I use a controller for my poor aim, but after seeing your aim I've realized that it's MY fault, thank you!
This game is proper mate. go into a game and don't think about gaining kills play the objective and you'll be jam tart. have fun while gaming.😆
Well there are many ways to PTFO in these games. If I have great gunskill and movement why should I die to physically hold a circle instead of going for flanks and slaying people? Doesn't that help my team?

Excellent advice. You have basically already articulated everything I was considering making videos on throughout you tips playlist.
If I could add one thing that I don't think you have mentioned yet which has helped me a lot;
Aim for the neck. If your aim is slightly off there is still a good chance of hitting the upper body shot within your cone of fire while not fully removing the chance of a head shot. Aiming soley for the headshot leaves much less room for error in the heat of the moment.

I have a tip: remember that increasing the zoom level greatly increased recoil. pick the one your best with, but try to stick to the same one so you can build up your muscle memory. also, it helps in some situations to stop while firing, crouching helps too, and is faster than going prone.
@ yeah but it has a lot more screen shake to it. I find it easier to be on the lowest zoom level I can have within reasonable ability to see the target.

Thanks, that's what I have been doing. I reached rank 50 last night. I am glad I get to experience this 64 player action. Have you played Bad Company 2? I was level 219 on the leaderboard for Xbox when I played it. Battlefield 3 was great, battlefield 4, eh could have been better, but still fun.

I'm new to the BF community and game so I don't know much but trying to learn, just wanna ask you if you could do a video on recommended weapons, grenades, sidearms etc for each class. Keep up the good work!!
Bf1 has so many blind spots, my kd ratio (that not matters) is always 1/0, 2/1, 3/2 etc, most of time it's just constant blind spots, with people shooting out of nowhere and it's particularly difficult to spot them on an intensive gaming map
They need to fix bugs to... I died in a random explosion in the middle of a field with no one around and the cause of death was accidental... I also was in a building and suddenly caught fire when no one was around and died and it said accidental lol... I was like WTF lol

Diesel I got killed by someone who was invisible today, my friends did too. he pickaxed me and all I saw was a hole in my shoulder and footprints running away. yesterday I was on a 15 player kill streak in my trench fighter plane and I just fell out of it dead. game said It was an accident. few days ago I was running in a field and I had a heart attack, medic tried to revive me and he had one too, the airship hadn't even spawned in yet.

wanna aim better on console? turn off your aim assist and your slowdown for a few hours of play. when you turn it on your aim will be dramatically better. you will realize you don't have to compensate for recoil as much as you think. and your able to snap on targets much faster. I lost all my sensitivity stats I had on bf4 so I'm not sure if it's a little faster because I played COD for a while but it helped a lot to do turn it off and on

I like your guides. Thus one actually helped some. I did notice that when I was sniping that if I took more than 1-2 seconds for a shot period I was gonna miss. I've made some amazing head shots just going for it. Thanks for this. Ima practice some more.

The secret to aim is: Free your mind
for better aiming for scout. put cross hair on enemy but the top hasmark on head and the right and left hasmark on shoulders headshot and quick scope kill every time. this method brought me up 20 ranks really quick
great tips! the best being not to overthink it. if you lose a head to head don't let it bother you anymore than the time it takes to respawn. once you're back in the fight, just remember what you might have done better and keep fighting your best. I've seen amazing players get demolished by noobs because they made it too personal and let their anger blind them to the point of distraction, plus nobody in your party wants to hear you go on about some BS anyway.
Go full screen and just type ''awesome' then check out the time bar for the video.

A nice video, with some very good advice. I have come to BF1 from Destiny, and whilst the games are different, the skills required are similar. The point that you have made about confidence is a very good one. Having confidence in your own abilities with weapons will make you, or break you as a soldier.
Confidence comes from understanding the capabilities of the weapon that you are using. When you first use that weapon, situations will unfold before you, and they will happen so fast, that at first they may deter you. However, as you start to master your weapon, and its capabilities, putting it in the right situations, you will see that time starts to slow down. Soon, you will find moments, even in the most intense situations, that you never knew existed. It is these moments that confidence gives you the opportunity to exploit. Choose your weapon (based on feeling and not a video), and stick with it through thick and thin, the good times and the bad. As your confidence grows, it will become your trusted companion.

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING
Right!? More medics should be doing their job; being a support player. I'm below average at shooting, so I often play as a medic. Running around healing and rezing, I often get higher than many with great k/d in the scores. Also, it does of course help your team, preventing losing tickets and hey, what player doesn't appreciate being healed?

I’m no PC gamer but even with my Xbox Elite Controller, sensitivity al the way up, instant triggers, and instant joystick movements.... the mouse and keyboard wins. Well in shooters.

BF1 aiming guide...do what the other 90% of all BF1 players do and completely ignore every gun in the game but sniper rifles and DMRs, find the nearest rooftop or hill to hide on, and be as useless to your team as possible by just staring through your sniper scope taking pot shots at everyone on the map who is actually trying take flags and win the match. That's the text book definition of a typical BF1 player and what every BF1 match is like. Do not, and I mean DO NOT, grab an actual gun and go try and cap a flag. That type of gameplay is for scrubs.

Always have an understanding of the map you are playing, I have noticed most players have a ritual or a plan in place to move around the map, be smart and try to cut them off.

It gets intense when you have to perfectly time bolt action reloads during fire fights.
You may not always have time to gaze, you could be in a situation where you have to have the magic eye to fire within fractions of a second, especially on hardcore.

I used ADS and put small piece of clear tape on the screen and mark it with a small cross-hair.
This helped in games where there was no cross-hair.
