Battlefield 4 is a first-person shooter video game developed by video game developer EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It is a sequel to 2011's Battlefield 3 and was released in October 2013 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360; then later in November for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Battlefield 4 was met with positive reception. It was praised for its multiplayer mode, gameplay and graphics, but was also criticized for its short and shallow single-player campaign mode, and for its numerous bugs and glitches in the multiplayer. It was a commercial success
Battlefield 4's multiplayer contains three playable factions-the United States, China, and Russia-fighting against each other, in up to 64-player matches on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One (24-Player on Xbox 360 and PS3). A newly reintroduced "Commander Mode", last seen in Battlefield 2142, gives one player on each team a real-time strategy-like view of the entire map and the ability to give orders to teammates. Also, the Commander can observe the battle through the eyes of the players on the battlefield, deploying vehicle and weapon drops to "keep the war machinery going", and order in missile strikes on hostile targets.[7][8] A spectator mode is included, enabling players to spectate others in first or third person, as well as use a free camera to pan around the map from any angle.
On June 10, 2013, at E3, DICE featured the map "Siege of Shanghai", pitting the People's Liberation Army against the U.S. Marine Corps. The gameplay showcased Commander Mode; new weapons and vehicles; and the "Levolution" gameplay mechanic. The video displays the last of these at various points, including: a player destroying a support pillar to trap an enemy tank above it; and a large skyscraper (with an in-game objective on the top floor) collapsing in the center of the map, kicking up a massive dust cloud throughout the map and bringing the objective closer to ground level.[9] Levolution also includes effects such as shooting a fire extinguisher to fill the room with obscuring clouds, car alarms going off when stepped on, metal detectors going off once passed through, or cutting the power in a room to reduce others' visibility.[9][10]
The maps included in the main game are "Siege of Shanghai", "Paracel Storm", "Zavod 311", "Lancang Dam", "Flood Zone", "Rogue Transmission", "Hainan Resort", "Dawnbreaker", "Operation Locker" and "Golmud Railway".[11][12] The game modes on offer include Battlefield's Conquest, Domination and Rush; while adding two new game modes called Obliteration and Defuse, along with traditional game modes such as Team Deathmatch and Squad Deathmatch.[12][13]
The four kits from Battlefield 3 are present in Battlefield 4 with minor tweaks. The Assault kit must now wait for the defibrillator to recharge after reviving teammates in quick succession. The Engineer kit uses PDWs, and carbines are available to all kits. The support kit has access to the new remote mortar and the XM25 allowing for indirect suppressive fire. The Recon kit is now more mobile and is able to equip carbines, designated marksman rifles (DMRs), and C4. Sniping mechanics also give with the ability to zero in your sights (set an aiming distance), and equip more optics and accessories than previous Battlefield games. The Recon kit is still able to utilize the MAV, T-UGS, and the Radio Beacon.[14][15][16][17]
New vehicles have also been introduced. With the addition of the Chinese faction, new vehicles include the Type 99 MBT, the ZFB-05 armored car, and the Z-10W attack helicopter. Jets have also been rebalanced and put into two classes, "attack" and "stealth". The attack jets focus is mainly air-to-ground capabilities, while stealth jets focus mainly on air-to-air combat. Another vehicle added in Battlefield 4 is the addition of the RCB and DV-15 Interceptor attack boats, which function as heavily armed aquatic assault craft.

Teamwork is literally the most overpowered thing in all BF games. A team that works together will steamroll.

That's one thing DICE have miserably failed in past BF titles. Adding attrition to "encourage" teamwork... What a joke!
Good teamwork means when two or more individual players are playing together and increasing their overall effectiveness by doing so, like here. Being dependent on some random idiots to get ammo and/or health isn't teamwork, it's just inconvinient and makes the acutal teamwork less fun. In a well designed game you don't need to "force" teamwork, because it'll happen naturally.
Literally faxx i never got a good teammates whenever i play its always like that 1 or 2 dudes in my squad would always do some random shits or they won't follow anything, won't share anything, will get all the vehicles and get killed instantly.
Yk as anyone else in this game I would be pissed at the chopper for killing me over and over, but from this view it looks so much fun lol

@@Zakuisbak You can do this via pilot swapping, new pilot doesn't have to wait for your cooldown to fire their countermeasures. I'd say it's kind of an exploit of a game mechanic rather than a cheat (there are some actual cheaters out there though).

Since the announcement of the new BF2042, I have started playing BF4 more and more. I used to be an average Attack Plane pilot in BF1 with 50+ stars. But when I tried BF4's air combat, it's a whole new level, and since there were not many Asian servers I had to play on Aussie servers with 150+ pings. I once asked on chat who to follow on YT to learn some BF4 piloting! Someone recommended you and till this very day, every time I watch your videos (especially air combats) I thank that person for suggesting your name :P SilkySmoothContents my friend ;) hahah

how to you deal with the different sensitivity in the gunner seats ? do you fast switch settings, or are u simply able to handle it? it completely screws me up, because the muscle memory is used to a different sensitivity...
Reminds me of battlefield 5 where a Maxed out tank with machine gunners and people repairing it 24/7 can absolutely curb stomp anything and anyone

Dream team 🙌. Personally I struggle to find a good gunner to have or pilot. If I fly I feel like my gunner is blind or gets fixated on a target across the map. If I’m gunner I get stuck with a pilot who goes straight up and slowly fly at the target in a straight line over extending the field with no out. Mad frustrating it is.

On Battlelog PC you have leaderboards but you should only look at country leaderboards not the worldwide one as there's a lot of cheaters that flooded the worldwide one. There's also websites for bf4 on pc that show you people who are top on the leaderboard for a certain weapon/vehicle.

Take note everyone. Notice how the gunner is not constantly looking at the street or the sky or a wall. Notice how he's not looking at all of these things within a second or two over and over. Notice how he's able to aim and kill things? This is how you fly you have a gunner.
That's why I will take a person with a lot of assists over a person with a lot of kills in a day.

Teamwork prevails... i just wish i could convince Anyone in my team to pick up a javelin when i laser guide the enemy chopper doing us like this.
I got that to work exactly one time in all the years I've been playing. It was so brief, but it was glorious. I was using the PLD, and just out of nowhere, it was like every squad suddenly got an Engineer with one sort of LGM, and vehicles just started dropping like flies. The enemy team stopped using vehicles for like a minute or two, so my team stopped worrying about LGMs, and when the vehicles were back, there was no real coordination, so it was back to the status quo. But for that couple of minutes where the missiles filled the air... Mmm... Chef's kiss...

I have it installed, but I rarely boot it up anymore. It's more fun than 1 and V, but I've been getting back into Gears of War. Gears 5 is a marked improvement over Gears 4 in every possible way, and has held my attention for basically an entire year and counting. Sometimes though, I get on BF4, though I usually play as a Commander. It's especially fun on Hardcore where I can relay enemy positions, and warn of waiting ambushes to my team who don't have minimaps.
@@ZeroFighter oh yeah commander's fun, wish you got to control the ac130 though, emping a flag to let your team capture it while uav's one being taken for your team to keep it is a micromanagement i can get behind. Not big on gears, played the first game but it wasn't my thing. are you thinking on getting 2042?

Gears is an interesting franchise. Gears 1 plays different from all the other games, Gears 2 and 3 are considered the best in the franchise, almost nobody likes Judgement, 4 had interesting ideas that mostly fell flat, and Gears 5 is all about the multiplayer; arguably almost as good as Gears 3, and even paying homage to Gears 3 with the Horde Classic game mode.
2042, I plan on pirating it a month or two after launch just to take it for a test and see if it really is the second coming of Shitbucket Christ. If I like it, I'll buy it, but I'm not paying full price. Never pay full price for half a game. If they add a campaign, I'll pay full price.

@@Gibby34340 this is abouts making them balanced, adding a counter is one way to accomplish it. 99% of the "attack heli 100-0" videos are from this one map. That's because there are no jets or AA tank. Adding them would do the job too but I had this alternative solution in mind.
@@netrix2659 Shanghai is extremely guilty of this, but the larger issue is that helis are just too strong anyway. 2042 is gonna require heli pilots to return to base and reload, which will take quite a bit of time from their overall flight time. While not a direct power nerf, it will at least greatly reduce the sheer amount of damage helis can do overall. It will also deter many heli spammers because it won't be a nonstop rapefest anymore, which it never should have been anyway. It should be a utility, not a highly mobile gunship...
We also need better AA, because it's better at being an infantry destroyer than a long-range AA. Nerf the AA's fighting ability, make it strong against vehicles, and give it longer range capabilities. BOOM, 2 glaring issues fixed just by rebalancing a single vehicle class.
@@Gibby34340 I am not sure if the attrition system will return in 2042, leaked footage suggest otherwise but they could still change it. I personally would be ok with attrition system in bfv if they let you carry larger amounts of stuff. 2 or 3 med kits not one, 8 rockets in planes not 2, 5 panzer Faust not 3 etc.
I totally agree that they should nerf AA tank capability to fight infantry, but i think the range is good as it is. Basically if they would increase tha range even more every AA would sit in base without the risk of being destoryed and be as effective as current AA would be on middle flag, where it is very vulnerable
I respect an enemy who can outskill me, I fear an enemy who outskill me, I hate hackers, your piloting is awesome amazing brother, I’m a infantry type of player I like assault and sometimes do recon, a lot of deaths come from good pilots on my games, but I respect it, very cool indeed.

Yeah, regardless of whether something is "part of the game"... Abusing it to the point of ruining the ENTIRE server is plenty reason enough to boot someone off. That just ends up with the server emptying out. A good heli pilot might as well be a BF3 gunship, impossible to counter and you just have to "deal with it"...

You have to change the vehicle sensitivity in game on playstation. Since the TV is considered a vehicle, try it out.

It's just got a weird feeling to it, like it's flying through water. Try raising your vehicle sensitivity, since they ARE technically vehicles. Once you get used to it, it becomes second nature and they're OP as hell.
