I mean drones can pull 10 and more g in corners
What an experience for Johhny, a true professional. Hes killing it
Next round: 6S Lipo Battery. Things will be different.
Miguel Lara Calderón yep the motor will be burnt 👍
That "You ready to fly?" at the end got me excited
Lol, he needed a real racing drone with 60°+ of camera uptilt, not one of his slow freestyle quads
True... need like matty stunts.. 60 degree
The best you are going to get with a quadcopter is around 120mph and that will last for 15-20 seconds before the battery gets really angry. If you go really crazy you can reach 150mph but only for a few seconds. This experiment would have been better if it was an FPV wing.....
@@brettm.1770 very true..but would not be able to get floating side angles.. up and over.
Textbook FB FPV comment. Well executed from the armchair.
60+ degrees 😂🤣😂🤣😂
@@brettm.1770 I think there was a drone race hosted by DHL where the biggest drone was accelerating up to 150 km/h in a second. (had too fix the typo becouse some ppl never had a misspelling on the phone before pls stop pm me about). ua-cam.com/video/HonTgEm6PhM/v-deo.html
Fantastic! The drone footage is pretty great! A whole new perspective!
I am I the only one that's nervous that he's standing, essentially blindfolded, inside the tyre barrier?
Yes
Kudos Jonny! Always great stuff.
Hi we are red bull HONDA but prefer one Audi for the video, yes
Hence the cheeky badge removal haha
no NSX was available for the day lol
I also found that funny 😁
So cool subscribed to johny fpv for a long time cool to see this
If there's one thing we learned Johnny can't control his language.
Congrats to Johny FPV - wow - impressiv !!
thats an un-describable experience man(i cant even spell it correctly)
Good job my dude! And to the whole red bull team! Really enjoyed the video! Super fun to watch 😁😊😊😊😊😊
Pretty wild what these drones can do already.., and they’re still quite new “tech”.
Can’t wait for drone racing where people have to stand/sit on them ;)
"Drone" racing with people in them is next... they are building it already
Awesome job Johnny as always!!! Lumenier is proud of you!!!
Thanks Red Bull for Peek at Amazing Driver-Team-CAR and the Behind-the-scenes coverage of Super FPV Kwad Pilot Johnny having an adventure / experience of a life while showing what Kwads allow FPV Pilots to do also. I'd like to know how many people there took any FPV ride along flights with Johnny and what they thought?
Red Bull did a great job hiring/offering this FPV drone pilot the opportunity to do this filming. The shots shown were great =-)!
Try the same with an RC jet plane!!
These hit 400 mph!
Couldn't help but laugh watching johny's fast forwarded walk😁😁🤙
The obvious answer is: No
You know nothing, Diory N. A maxed out race drone beats a F1 car in every aspect. Way, way better acceleration plus way more agile. Just the battery life is the issue.
a well build racing kwad could keep up with an f1 easy
Maxpackts Can FPV drones go like 300kph?
@@cjeam9199 not 300 but close enough to follow it for a bit before the F1 gets to top speed. Of course the F1 will not be at top speed all the Time.
cjeam yup. This guy built one that goes 325 kmh: www.getfpv.com/learn/fpv-news/fpv-multirotor-speed-record/
I don’t know what the current speedrecord is.
So cool. Good job Johnny. Awesome video Red Bull!
I’m just questioning why he didn’t us a real FPV racing drone and not the slow but smooth freestyle drone
Because of camera angles for shots. Hard to keep a good shot lined up when you have high uptilt and have to constantly adjust your attitude and throttle to stay in air. A race quad will still be slowed down by a GoPro any way you slice it.
and there you have it, if anybody was to do it, it is Johnny. Didn't expect the drone to keep up, specially on the straights, but he still managed to capture some quick shots that would be useful. Then, to hop on a fast moving vehicle and give chase while in the goggles?! 🤯
Yep. That's when you call Johnny. #respect
you need X-class drone :)
Johnny killing it as always!
Dude you should get some aero on the drone and some turbo too. Maybe take some tips from F1 engineers.. 👍😀
I love the shot with the drone behind the driver.
but have you seen an fpv drone on weeeeeeed?.....
