The lighter prints of it are very good, a lot of it has the same issue as the British woodland camo that it is simply too dark and makes the wearers outline obvious.
Great Video. I like Strichtarn too. I live in Minnesota which has pastures and fields and the Strichtarn works well in these areas however there are also area groves and wooded areas where Flecktarn works very well.
Strichtarn is brilliant for colour blending, because of it's pale brown/green, it picks up ambient light easily, however it doesn't have a good disruptive pattern, what I really want is a camo that is a mix of coyote brown and olive drab in a DPM splodge design. Should work almost anywhere and hide the human silhouette well.
My favorite and the camo with the best results I have had with is Russian Surpat. Way more effective that even Multicam here in Southern Spain in a mountainous environment with forests and rocky terrain.
The Mandrake one is actually a really good colour pallet for most woodland, most woodland camos are far too dark, only shame is it has a very poor IR pattern, but so do most camos not made by commies.
It comes as either, M89 or M93, both seem very similar. It's a great woodland camo because it's much lighter in colour, so works well in fields and light woodland, rather than deep forest.
nice video, wouldnt have expected you to talk about camos but I'm totally fine with that. I saw lots of Flecktarn during airsoft games and I always disliked it for being so dark, one day I saw some guys in danish camo and I liked it right away, its much more green and also a bit more bright but it blends in so much better. The best camo in my mind for woodland is Tochka-4 though, I never saw it in reality but its like a combination of Flecktarn and danish camo. I'll get myself a suit with Tochka-4 pretty soon. Also the russian spectre camo seems to work amazingly well. I wasnt able to get a lot of knowledge about gas masks yet but I do know a lot about camos
If you look at some of my much older videos I've done a few different videos on camo, as I have a lot of surplus gear I have quite a bit of old camos. Flecktarn can work very well if the lighting is just right, however I find with flecktarn when printed on certain gear it is either lighter or darker, so my flecktarn trousers are lighter than my flecktarn shirts, but the lightest one I have is my flecktarn raincoat, even lighter than the trousers. The light stuff works really well in the late summer/autumn but yeah it's often too dark. Really it all comes down to what theatre you are in, lots of people swear by certain camos, but they only work in some areas.
hmm well the real Flecktarn should be quite even in brightness though I saw it getting much more bright and nice if its washed out and worn, it looks better and probably works better as well. You're right but some camos can work in many similar locations like forests all over the world (unless you're in a forest that is only birch) There are lots of good camos and its rather about personal taste than proven efficiency. I'd choose danish camo or Tochka-4 if I can get it. Actually there are so many more camos but many are very hard to get. Russian smerch camo for example
Russian sniper suits have always been quite good colour wise, I think having only two colours helps a lot with the disruption factor, as making the camo "noisy" means that at longer ranges the camo just blurs into a solid colour.
well I cant say how it performs on long range but a team mate of me told me that a guy using gold leaf berezka blend in extremely well at pretty close range. I couldnt believe it as I looked at what that camo looks like but camos can be very effective even with just two colors and strange patterns
In my opinion Flecktarn works well in fall and winter, at night, on the rock surface of Iceland, in pinetree sorests. Danish camo is one of my favorite for the spring and summer.
Very nice collection I have about the same things you do including the red and black camo pants you're wearing just a little info on the red and black camo I've heard it referred to as "bloodshot" and I've heard Romanian police wear it not sure if any of this is true though
Nope not Rothco, Relco apparently. The red urban camo has been around since at least the 1990s, same as the orange/blue/grey and yellow variants of it.
Hey weapons and stuff i got a gas mask filter from amazon it was sold by tactical nation. It says that it is a nato filter. But i dont know if it is safe or not.

I love the Yugoslavian camouflage and Chinese Type 07 camouflage.
I just looked at the Chinese camos, some look good, others too dark, I suppose it depends on what theatre they are meant to be issued in.
Us BDU Woodland is one of my favorite
Camouflage .
The lighter prints of it are very good, a lot of it has the same issue as the British woodland camo that it is simply too dark and makes the wearers outline obvious.
Mr.Jeffey 2486 a old but good pattern for upper Midwest
Woodland works best in fall and winter, not so much in the greener spring and summer.
I dont get it, whats he reviewing? i dont see anything, its just his room?
And another person makes the same crap joke.

Any idea if Desert flecktarn would work well there?
where I live there's super dark woods everywhere, and the camo that works best here Russian Digital Flora
Good colour wise but it's not very disruptive.
My favorite camos include any Kryptek camo.
The Mandrake one is actually a really good colour pallet for most woodland, most woodland camos are far too dark, only shame is it has a very poor IR pattern, but so do most camos not made by commies.
Flecktarn looks so cool
The Yugoslav Serbian one looks good I might buy that

hi buddy . I use the the 95 ripstop jacket an the U.S. woodland pants . works great at stealth camp s . ATB mate .
Both great camos.

Really cool video I really like camo pants and tops so I enjoyed this
Cool.
why is there nothing in your thumbnail its nothing but a floor wth?
If I had grey camo the joke might actually be funny.
dead memes a funny
What do you think about the idea of having translucent tread camo similar to polar bear fur
That won't really work when there is human skin under it.
Very nice collection I have about the same things you do including the red and black camo pants you're wearing just a little info on the red and black camo I've heard it referred to as "bloodshot" and I've heard Romanian police wear it not sure if any of this is true though
That's one name for it, old name is just Red Urban, because it's the famous grey urban camo just in red, rather than grey.
I know I might ask way too much but do u have some military helmets?
Search my channel... Lots of videos on helmets.
Plain OD green and urban camos are my favorite
The "90s terrorist" are rothco right?
Nope not Rothco, Relco apparently.
The red urban camo has been around since at least the 1990s, same as the orange/blue/grey and yellow variants of it.
my most loved camo are russian flora and flecktarn and tropentarn
Flora is a great camo.
Good video
It also says that it protects from gas and smoke and smog but i dont know if it has asbestos.
cool video
Thanks.

Turns up on eBay for around £10-20 normally.
Weaponsandstuff93 Yeah thanks ima need to get an MTP smock and pants sometime.
people actually wanted how to know camoflage works.
It's more complex than you think.
Cool video i want buy ghili suit
Ghillie suits work better than normal camo because they break up the human shape well enough to look like grass/moss etc.
Make one by yourself, It's pretty eazy if you're know what you're doing and they are better and cheaper then bought ones.
I try make
