Installing CUSTOM Air Suspension On My Pontiac Fiero
Вставка
- Опубліковано 4 вер 2024
- Thank you for watching my video! This was my first time ever attempting air suspension on a car and I learned a ton! If you have any suggestions or questions do not hesitate to reach out to my Instagram @FieroKyle or here in the comments. I built this suspension on a budget and will most likely do some tweaking and changes to it in the future for better efficiency and such. I will post an update video and a price list video if those are interested in the future. Thanks!

fantastic job wow! I'll be dropping off my 87GT to you lol
Very nice job!! Nice Fiero!! I noticed that your control arm bolts are reverse, well at least one that I can see. I think the nut should be towards the back so when you are driving and if it come off the bolt should stay in place. Might not happen but we never know.
@@jesseflynnhebert5809 you are correct! And that did actually happen to me once. Hit a bump and heard very unpleasant noises. Come to find out the nut and bolt for the control arm came out! Since that day I have gone back and switched those around. Good catch!
I remember when you started out in the Fiero world. You have come a long way, good work Kyle 💯
Fantastic job. Well thought out. Great video. I have never seen a Fiero bagged. At 20 years old I hope you are taking engineering. You are not just putting a kit on your car designed by some one else, you did it your self. Good luck in the future.
This is what hot rodding is all about, going out on your own and getting awesome results. Great video also.
That's some damn fine work for your first time and especially for you being as young as you are. Keep on keeping on and remember to be thankful for your mistakes because that's the best way to learn and grow mentally and emotionally.
You did an amazing job! I cannot wait to see this in person
Thank you! Cant wait to see you this year!
Gonna be buying a fiero soon gonna definitely do this to mine thanks man!!
Beautiful Fiero! 👌🏻🥵
@@Walter370z thank you!
Needs more low! Haha, just kidding. Great work. Looks awesome. Engine swap time now.🤔🔥
Good job! Smart thing to test before install. Car look fantastic!
Awesome!
Looks great Kyle. I am friends with Mario from airtekk we have been talking about doing my 87 gt for about 2 years now. I have just been waiting for it to come out of the body shop. He was so excited to see his rear setup on your car. Lol. I hate what you had to do to the front. I just powder coated my front rack and control arms with new urethane bushings. But if that what it takes I guess I’ll have to do it again. Great video.
Love it dude. Amazing
Great job!!!!
Thank you Joe!
Nicely done
Ive beenntrying to find out what shock to use for the coilover setup. What are the commonly used shocks that fit?
Yessir 💯💪🏽
Great job👍🏻
Have fun and keep playing with your car, I own a 87gt
Awesome work
Got the part # on the bags?
Heres the link to the ones I got: www.ebay.com/itm/273593854305?epid=10026420966&hash=item3fb376e961:g:Ny8AAOSwyzxjkuWU&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAABAEotP2vvtm1H1FhTFOxD1mlo2gaYi%2FyvgeJL74HyWX7iu6PbLrxuLnmLReDHpB75UL1swjKyuXjSvxwd6rnKsVGmgSzJf8luqJCSc9qYtaZ7NDWdoZt5Q%2B7EJstFuMnbJNj4pIIaxAPn1KlfBFqBkzH2shl8lFPrrEj7zHZmBdOjtQAQEFFXfqmXIJp06PlQ5mAsiahQziTkUXwqgKLG1bmirOO%2BIntcJHrIRtNJx5WG4Y%2BpW3vIiir%2BZHcPg%2Fd5P4%2F4sNGjtxtM7DCm8gMxHUTRSEBSDhGamwWNypqYpg1UoAqmvSwjlYjuImHo0J6ryTNtmiPdK%2FioEADaQYVzNA0%3D%7Ctkp%3ABFBMiuTc4Ndh
@@FieroKyle These appear to be the fronts what about the rears?
@@socorromartinez5853 here’s the link to the rear bags. You just need to make sure you get the correct ones for the coilovers you are using.

@@FieroKyle ; For the front setup what shock absorber are you using? Are yu using a "stock" fiero shock or is it a custom shock? Thank you Great work!
Cool video, give you props for the ingenuity because there really isn't much info out there on bagging a Fiero.
Any reason you didn't mount the air tank down deep in the trunk? Seems like you could have the tank almost at the very bottom and mount your compressor above it, then have a shelf/trunk floor to still use the upper half like a lot of the engine swap guys do that cut the bottom section of trunk out.
I'm not a fan of what you had to do to the front cross member, but I've never seen any detailed pictures of how any other bagged Fieros are done so I can really judge.
I didn’t mount it low because I wanted to be able to see the compressor and I just didn’t like how they looked down low in the trunk. Even though that is the better option
Nice job TY for sharing
Good Job!
What's the part number for the rear air bags? Ps. I love the build!
How does it ride?..... Is amazing tumbs UP
I like the ride. I have no complaints!
Time to chuck that iron duke and get a 3800! Clean build btw
Iron Duke is a 2.5lt v4... His is a 2.8lt V6. Know before you post
@@crego00 Chuck the 2.8 get a 3800***
@@crego00 duke isnt a v4 bro
@novice6159 iron duke was an iron 4 banger…. V4
@crego00 and @chaytonnadeau616, you both may want to start over on your comments. The iron duke is an I4 (as in INLINE 4) - not a V4. The "V' stands for cylinders arranged in a V pattern. The iron duke cylinders are not arranged in a V pattern. There are very, very few 4 cylinder engines in the world that are V4s. So both of you should "Know before you post."
Hello from canada! Nice set up!
If i want the same rear coilovers for the set up what year of subaru impreza i have to look for?
Hi there, the ones I used were from an 02-07 Impreza
These are front impreza coilovers?
where did you put the links for the needed parts
Hey Kyle, I'm local to you. I'm looking for a 87 or 88 gt, Any ideas?
OK, not something that see much in France with all the "illegal" chassis modifications.
(That front subframe could be weaker now, in my opinion🧐. And it wouldn't pass the "contrôle technique"😜)
However, you did a tremendous job and you can be proud of your work 👍😉
Can you put up a link for the plates you got on eBay. And are you still using the drop ball joints you put on originally
How does it drive. Are you 100% happy
No troubles with the Coolant tubes ? Greetings from Holland
Nope, no issues with the coolants tubes I’ve seen yet!
It might bend up if theres no support, measure the gap
Yeah, I did add the center support which goes from the middle of the bracket to the top of the front subframe. Which should in theory take all of the upward force. But I will be watching it closely
@@FieroKyle would look cool with pieces of round bar going around the gap like every inch or so, also acting as support, and looking neat. I also wondered about a mounting adapter to bolt up to stock spot down to the bag plate. But you got it handled
What about posting a parts list \ links
I am going to make a video about the entire thing with prices and links
@@FieroKyle Did you the parts list video??
How does it ride ???
How’s it ride?
I think your frunk needs an air horn now
hello. whey diameter is your front tires? thanks
205/40r17 on a 17x9 wheel
@@FieroKyle wow looks like 18” wheel
looks great!
It's a cool video but you talk WAAAAAY TOOO FREAKING MUCH!!! ALOT LESS LIP AND MO ACTION!!!!
If you don’t like the content don’t watch. Plain and simple
Awesome job
Great job!
