These axle seals bearings will ruin your stub shafts. They arent hardened enough to be a bearing race for those needles. They will brinnel and crack from these needles. Just some advice from a mech. engineer.

Cool idea for the drill battery, but personally I would rather wire it in to the car battery. Just feels cleaner and less janky.

Ive been debating this for my c5 corvette. Just did a carbon fiber c5r lip and some skirts. SLP loudmouth exhaust and diffuser go on this weekend. Debating under glow while im under there. Update. Ordered with a ryobi battery adapter 2 pack. I needed another for my nephews c5r power wheels lol

Kyle, you have one of the most unique Fieros out there. Yours is the epitome of 'make it yours'. As you know, that is one of the best parts about owning one of our little 2-seat fun machines. I'm glad the wider car community seems to be digging it too! Great idea using a drill battery, tho the amp draw from those LEDs wouldn't be a problem for your car's electrical system, but certainly would take a little more work and planning. Sometimes the simplest solution is the best! I have tossed around the idea of adding ambient interior lighting to Scarlett, much like high-end modern vehicles, but just haven't got around to it.

I like underglow, but rgbs only look good on PCs imo, you should just keep it red to match the paint or a red and white combo

bro.. the drill battery mod is freaking genius. Also, low glow fuming rn, LOL. I think I'm gonna go buy this off Amazon. I actually upgraded my alternator in anticipation of underglow and airbags, but this is gonna save a lot of the battery. Thanks for uploading this!

So the air filter wasn’t hooked up at all. I understand you had a vision and were determined to use your new parts, but all you had to do is hook the original hose up maybe do the first time? Whatever its all fine except why you didn’t take care of the rust while you had the inner fender removed? Clean and paint it with some POR 15 or rustoleum or something. Ok I’ll mind my own business now.

What kind of fluid did you put in your transmission 5W-30 or synchromesh? I never heard synchromesh until now. I always put 5w-30 on what it's asked for. All the synchromesh I found is for automatic transmission. I know that will missed up the manual transmission. If you did put synchromesh mesh what's the part number of that fuild? Please.

Whose ground effects are those?

The original fiero's were recalled due to the fuel lines getting caught on fire. They were run straight over the exhaust manifolds and started engine fires. The issue was fixed for every year after the 1984 models.

The factory one was made of rubber. It would dry rot and fall on exhaust, then cause a fire. That’s what cause the “Fiero fire hazard” from people. Even though I think there was only like 3 fires.

Try owning an 84 it has huge vents over the spark plugs and exhaust manifold

Just to inform you. That Tran case will break Look at the driver side case where the axle comes out of the case. The V6 case has reinforced webbing. The case you are using is smooth. I have had to replace the trans on a stock V6 that used that case you used. Good luck. Also the gearing that that trans you are using with the wheels you are using is the gears you want. Sooooo Get the V6 case and use the 4cyl gears. You will be so happy you did. It not hard to flip gears from one case to the other.

Hi Kyle is your engine stock ? Besides the cold air intake ? I have a 1987 Gt I am also restoring. Just installed my Fiero Store Exhaust and Y pipe also installing the Rodney cold air intake fender pipe . I may try a Jet chip stage 2 see if any improvements to be had in performance. I will draggy before and after that will definitely show the performance gains if any Car looks good you did a awesome job

Very nice job!! Nice Fiero!! I noticed that your control arm bolts are reverse, well at least one that I can see. I think the nut should be towards the back so when you are driving and if it come off the bolt should stay in place. Might not happen but we never know.
