I have been working on the M103 for many years never thought about the slot on the water pump. I was doing all kind of evil things to hold the pulley.

How did you remove the timing chain tensioner bolt? Can't do it my M103 needs a new headgasket
Are you talking about the 1st bolt that is a Hex key or the 2nd inner one that is a triple square.?
@@myafied sorry for the bad description. Its the timing chain raile guide pin. I can't get this sucker off

This is the M103.9??
My 2.6, M103.942 its KAT too (with 4G-Tronic), but Now I have a M103.980 from a '89 300CE (5 speed manual) swapped because the stock engine had a little problems, and for not to Open the engine and because in Portugal nobody nows about this engines, my dad just decided to swap the engine
Now, with 17, I'm really close from 18, for drive my "2.6" and I really really want to rebuild the engine, because it was a little Faster than 3.0, with better sound, in my opinion, and all this with less weight.

All The M130 Tear Downs Are Pretty Close To Being The Same. The only Difference From The 2.6 & 3.0 Is The Bore Size & The Cylinder Head.

awwww...i was wanting to see how to remove the front crank pulley. cuz there is a harmonic balancer i wanted to see removed...😔
