I have been working on the M103 for many years never thought about the slot on the water pump. I was doing all kind of evil things to hold the pulley.

I know this is a year old..but once you adjusted the throttle to get it to idle.. did you run into any other issues? Because when you change your throttle body blade position i change the tps voltage.

My 2.6, M103.942 its KAT too (with 4G-Tronic), but Now I have a M103.980 from a '89 300CE (5 speed manual) swapped because the stock engine had a little problems, and for not to Open the engine and because in Portugal nobody nows about this engines, my dad just decided to swap the engine Now, with 17, I'm really close from 18, for drive my "2.6" and I really really want to rebuild the engine, because it was a little Faster than 3.0, with better sound, in my opinion, and all this with less weight. 🚗😉
