Walking Through the Streets of Kathmandu Unedited
So much color and endless unfamiliar and interesting things along the way. Beautiful people.
Thank you
Hi Gabe, thanks for sharing. I stayed 3 weeks in Kathmandu in 2006, your footage made me fly all over Durbar area, feel the sun on my skin, smell the unlit candles from the temples and feel the taste of sweet lassi..!
It's a pity that the reconstruction works are not finish..
Love this place!
Enjoy! :)
Warm greetings from Kathmandu Nepal.
Thank you !! for visiting Nepal
We need the ultimate UA-cam travel vlogger crossover video: Gabe and Harald Baldr trek all over Nepal just to find a cheap smoothie and Harald gives the guy who doesn't charge them tourist prices $1000, while Kara & Nate team up with Bald & Bankrupt to do Vespa scooter tours of the Belarus Radiation Zone, Drew Binsky decides it would be funny to visit every country in the world but one and has an Instagram poll to determine which country he's skipping, and once Once Upon a Saga finishes visiting every country without flying, he flies back home from the Maldives with Sam Chui in first class.
That'd be EPIC
drew binsky, kara and knock off ronaldo can stay home. And for the love of god dont bring that wonderboy Jeremy kid either.
Love your technique, just point the camera and shoot...No chat, no selfies...just pure images...just the way I shoot my videos. Thanks for posting.
The woman at 6.57 is really nice. I met her on that exact spot 2 years ago. So happy to see that she is still healthy. Thank you Gabriel :-)

Namaste! so cool to see Kathmandu again..I went 2000 and 2002...so long ago. I love Nepal .. My father was a army medic recruiting Gurkahs and I had to visit myself after listening to him talking about the country
Have been following you since the last time you came to Nepal. And now you are back. You have completed the full circle my friend. Have a nice time in Nepal.
Loved your last videos of Nepal, looking forward to the next! Thank you Gabriel!
I liked it there, did the Annapurna circuit in 2000 . Kathmandu was cool but after a couple days I found it hard to breathe because of the diesel fumes. No problem breathing up at 17000 feet though.
Correction: the population of Kathmandu is 2.5 million (metro area is 4 million). I made a 70 minute movie about my incredible trek in the Himalayas of Nepal. You can watch it here: ua-cam.com/video/gF1LABvwPHo/v-deo.html
I have watched your travel video sir tq for visit to nepal and and when are you coming back to visit in nepal
Last winter I went to Nepal, mostly inspired by your videos. Thank you!
Cool.
Great!!! I'm so glad I got Harold and Gabriel together Happy Days
That was a lot of fun, just walking the busy, foreign streets of Kathmandu! Thanks, Gabriel.
I had always thought Kathmandu would be covered in snow in winter because Nepal is in the Himalayas region, but obviously that is not the case.
It's not very high in elevation. Probably they get occasional snow but usually you have to get up into the mountains to find the snow. It was so warm yesterday I was wearing a t-shirt.
Dee Raz I was born and raised in Kathmandu and I never got to see snow😂
Go out of ktm valley 8 to 10 km far away you got snow.....
....
its somilarly vold in the mornibg n in the evening though
is it the setting of the camera or camera itself sometimes the images were little twisted ?
It's a wide lens not a regular one
Too many close ups. 😕
Love your videos man. It's almost like you are there!
such an amazing video.. felt like as though i was actually walking down those streets
Seems a clear fine day in katmandu.
Many spirital strong holds much revelation on display for those with eyes to see
Glad to see you back Gabriel !!
And incredible it is. The world in itself.
Great videos, Gabriel. Please keep them up! Have a blessed new year!
Nepal 🇳🇵 is AN AMAZING country! SUCH a humble, COMPASSIONATE and BEAUTIFUL people! (Especially the WOMEN 👸🏽🥰❤️ 🌹)

Jason Peter Sharpe Thanks and God bless you too 🙏🙏🙏
5.15 I had bought a Nepalese cap from this man in 2012. 🙂
The building's look very old, crumbling in places. Interesting look into the daily lives of the locals.
Those buildings and temples are as old as time is...some were made 300 yrs back ..temples like "krishna mandir" were made before USA was discovered...it has withstand many earthquakes too
Thts wht they look like that.
There is one Magnificient Hindu Temple in Durbar Square named KASTAMANDAP which was constructed when America was not even discovered. There are so many houses and temples that carries the whole history of Nepal and The World.
Durbar square! You are really making me want to go back!
Cool close ups to the pigeons! Really felt like I was there! :)
Gabe, you really are a hero to me, my wife and baby girl. God bless you and protect you. It would be a TRUE HONOR to meet you personally someday. Your adventurous spirit and great courage are very inspiring. -j
I like when you do these videos. It makes me feel like I'm walking amongst the people. :)
Interesting video !
Thank you, Gabriel!
You are in Nepal about the same time as Harald Baldr. You and Harald have different personalities and styles, and enjoy watching both. But I identify with Gabriel more.
I think , we are more than 4 Millions here in Kathmandu. That’s why the city is very crowded.
Thank you. Traveling there in 2 months
welcome to nepal sir
Went to Nepal a couple of years back and I felt bad that Darbar Square was damaged. So much of heritage buildings lost in a single day. Hopefully, they are restored quickly and I would love to visit them.
Great Video. Thank you for posting.
Nice video. I will be in Goa, India December 30, my first time I am so excited I am tired of shivering in this cold kanada country I would rather sweat...;)
I here south Goa and love it
Wow, beautiful video Gabriel! Keep it up!
Such a wonderful video. U r truly a legend gab. 👍
Never seen what Nepal looked like before... Looks very different to most places. Thanks for the tour Gabe... Safe Travels :)
Gabriel and Harold Baldr are campaigning for Kumar2020
Love your videos
Enjoy nepal 🇳🇵
Great to see you in Nepal again!!
Thank you Gabriel! Stay safe 😊🙏❤
Missing my home country Nepal 🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵 God bless you for nice vlog Sir.
These videos are cool. This must be like the most EXOTIC place to go, right? Probably one of the places to go where you FEEL you are in a Indiana Jones movie or something like that. Those streets, those places...Hey, I want to go. By the way: I think Gabriel could have climbed that little mountain over there called Everest if he had gone for it cause his stamina seems "quite good" to say the least.
No 1 country to visit according to Forbes in 2020
Hlo sandven Everest is little??? You have lsck of knowledge bro .Its top of the world😊😉😉
Try Myanmar ❤️👌
@@MultiDatura what myanmer Nepal has 10 out of 14 high mountains😉😉😉😉
james hero yes moutains are cool, but not Indiana Jones ”exotic” cool like Myanmar.
I just back from Kathmandu last week,I would like to meet Gabe
Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal.
Crazy to see one of your videos where I walked almost literally in your same footsteps... thanks for the nostalgia kick. Dan
HA! I knew it ...there are some placers you seem to light up, andorra, greece and nepal are one of them. and india, of course. love you being in asia again.
What is the tout situation like? Looks pretty chilled compared to India.
Trekking guides,charas/hash,my brother has a shop,it’s bad enough but not India.Oh T shirt boy was a Kashmiri,bargain hard .
Michael S tout in Nepal??
Not heard of anything like that ever
I love the unedited walks!
I'm right there
I have DEFINITELY seen MORE BEAUTIFUL WOMEN IN THIS TOWN than almost anywhere else in your videos! Nepal 🇳🇵 👸🏽👸🏽👸🏽👸🏽👸🏽👸🏽👸🏽👸🏽❤️❤️❤️❤️👸🏽👸🏽👸🏽👸🏽❤️❤️❤️🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹👸🏽👸🏽👸🏽👸🏽❤️❤️❤️

Hi Gabriel, this video reminds of what you see on youtube a lot 4k walk around city's video.
You filmed very well , well done Gabriel !
Glad to know u r in Nepal Gabriel!
Wow...great gab...love your video...big fan of you
💞Excellent... Grazie mille for this new video... Take care of yourself... Gabriel... 👍👍👍
Two things I notice that are similar between Asia and Latin America ... Motorbikes and Pigeons ... they're everywhere you go in the world.
I would love to go to visit Nepal, however I would not want to visit the city can you suggest anything outside of the city? Thanks Gabe another wonderful video! Take care until next time!✌
Out of Kathmandu valley there are lot of country sides or national parks, trekking route; Home stays etc.I'd love to Recommend Pokhara, Chitwan national park, Ghale Gaun home stays, Mardi Himal trekking and Sarankot, Mustang Muktinath travel, Far western region travel and Bardiya national park, eastern region travel and ilam tea garden visit etc. Everywhere you go out of Capital there is interesting destinations and very warm hospitality and cheap prices. Specially Pokhara, Mardi himal trekk( 2~3 days) and Ghale gaun home stay is best for 1 week plan.
Visit pokhara
Thank you kindly for the suggestions, I will definitely do my research and make it happen! Cheers n Merry Christmas 🎄🥂
Try rara lake , tilicho lake , mustang -manang , try rafting at trishuli river , or kali gandaki river , canyoning on jalbire waterfalls. ♥️ Wherever you go you'll enjoy .
HEY GABRIEL, INTERESTING WAY TO FILM. NO VOICE JUST THE RAW FOOTAGE OF EVERYDAY LIFE, I LIKED IT. KATHMANDU IS ON MY BUCKET LIST BUT I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN HANDLE THE ALTITUDE. THIS SUMMER I PLAN TO GO TO TIBET AND IF I CAN HANDLE THAT I THINK IN 2021 I MIGHT GO TO KATHMANDU. DID YOU HAVE ANY TROUBLE WITH THE ALTITUDE WHILE IN KATHMANDU ? OF COURSE YOU ARE JUST A LITTLE YOUNGER THAN ME SO YOUR LUNGS ARE PROBABLY IN A LITTLE BETTER SHAPE THAN MINE ARE. ALL THOSE YEARS OF SMOKING ARE CATCHING UP TO ME. LOL
Missing home country, God bless you Gabriel for nice vlog.
please which trek you gonna take? tell us . and First baby
Excited to see you in Nepal 🤯
should have went to Marion's bar from Indiana Jones 😆
I never been outside the US, and I knew that was the Nepal flag LOL
Wow sir you visit nepal again great traveler keep it up
Hi Gabriel,
Interesting video!
Are the propped up buildings really old or just in disrepair?
Keep up the great work!👍
Beautiful video ❤️
wow miss ktmdu sooo much.. lovely place and people.
So good. Great video 👍
It's so good watching this knowing ive just got back from there, Enjoy nepal gabriel......I'm sure you will lol
Hii, how often does Kathmandu city loses power? It can be mornings or usually happens on afternoons?
Hard to say, it's very random and unpredictable.
Gabriel, what is your one of your favorite small beach towns?
That would drive me bonkers 😬, people constantly annoying you to buy stuff. I would give in and buy something I don't need. Amazing city indeed.
Colour....colour........vibe......colour....SOOOOO different from Europe...... really interesting.....thanks n be safe...😀
WELCOME TO NEPAL SIR ..VISIT NEPAL 2020 LOVE U
Welcome to the land of Gautam Budhda (Nepal) 💕💕💕💕
Your new subscriber.
Lots of love

Welcome to Nepal .
You should visit Pokhara . very beautiful and clean .
best destination to travel .
3rd time and you didn't know the flag....
Mark Bench I was thinking the same 🤦♂️
Yeah that was a palm in face moment on Gabe's part. I was only there once but know the flag is shaped weird like that. Though I've been to Guatemala and Honduras 4 times and can't tell which flag is theirs, but the are similar to many Latin America flags.
@@davenelson9505 No noo nelson our flag is the different flag in the world understand, made around 200 years ago😉😉😉😉
Weird
Bob Seger brought me here.
Hey Gabriel, what about meeting up with Harald Baldr. He is also in Kathmandu
Next video.
He met him yesterday and Kumar was with Harald.😁
@@libbyjones552 Wow Gabe got to meet Kumar, future president of Nepal! instagram.com/p/B6LA1hgA4w_/
He is with Kumar! 😜
Harald was dropping Gabriel's name in his earlier videos on this trip. I wonder why?
Too much congestion, garbage and no trees for me. However, interesting to see through your travel lens.
Nepal ❤️🇳🇵🇳🇵
Oh how i miss this place. Are you wearing a mask most the time?
No, I never wear a mask.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos oh wow, it's not so polluted anymore?
@@shivadas7655 yuup no more pollution my mann hahaha
@Jeremiah M i maybe wouldnt go that far, but im also more in love with india.. It is a special place tho. But as far as a spiritual experience of traveling if you know what i mean, i would go to annapurna (the mid himalayas)
@huh india🤔🤔🤔
its a Nepal ,not a india
Lovely work...
I see the streets of Katmandu, but where are The Hills Of Katmandu?
Where some of those furnaces where they do cremations that's what it looked like to me??? Happy Days
no this is not a cremation sight. those butter lamps are fire offerings to the diety. hindus cremate their dead by the side of rivers that are considered sacred. In kathmandu the cremation site is at Arya Ghat(beside bagmati river), below Paashupatinath Temple.
Great vlog
Have you been to the ancient town Hoi An in Viet Nam yet ?
