The Ren and Stimpy's show and Beavis and Butthead was some of the best shows of MTV, and from my favorites, but I prefer I little bit more Ren and Stimpy
Ren and Stimpy has no place on Nickelodeon. That network's reserved for shows like Doug, Rugrats, You Can't Do That On Television, Double Dare, Danger Mouse, Pinwheel, all that s**t! Both R&S and Beavis & Butthead are MTV material, not for the Mike O' Malley crowd.

It was easy to watch and more fun, too. I wonder if this was Gerry Laybourne's idea to add R&S to its lineup and if so, she should be ashamed of herself. Nickelodeon was better off with Doug & Rugrats AND DANGER MOUSE!!! R&S belongs on MTV.

I know right the show wasn't even as bad as they try to make it out to be like if you look at a lot of the stuff that comes out nowadays that's way more offensive than Beavis and Butthead at least they didn't have forced agendas in their show I'm like nowadays were everything has an agenda in every TV show and movie.
At least Beavis and Butthead was less annoying then the Muppet Show where on occasion you'll see Miss Piggy karate chopping Kermit The Frog on every other episode whereas if she did that to B&B, both would likely say, "Huh! Huh! That Was Cool! Huh! Huh!" The Muppet Show's too weak and out of place with the Mike O' Malley crowd.
I was glad there was Beavis and Butthead because by the end of the summer of 1992, I got so sick and tired of Ren and Stimpy that I wanted to start a nationwide boycott on the show and make it disappear for good. That Tom and Jerry reject duo can never compete against B & B.
Ren and Stimpy was better. Hell, we'd have no golden age renaissance during the 90's. It walked so Beavis and Butthead could run, and even Mike Judge praised the show. Get over yourself.
You know what I find a really crazy I was just talking about this the other day with someone it is true most of the parents back in the day were complaining about Beavis and Butthead are the same ones that unfortunately are responsible for this generation of crybabies we have today you thought the parents in the 90s were bad take a look at this generation now they're way worse than they were
Beavis and Butthead was a cartoon designed for adults and was seen on a mostly adult network, MTV. So was Ren & Stimpy but was only a temporary replacement for Liquid Television and Beavis and Butthead throughout the 1990s whereas Nickelodeon, a kids network, for unknown reasons picked it up as a full fledged program like Doug and the Rugrats, the latter for a short time in 1992 was seen on VH1.

I was nine when ren and stimpy debuted and 11 when beavis and butthead debuted and taped every episode and saw the movie in theaters at 14

They pretty much just didn't get it at the time, anything that was different from the norm is always gonna get slammed.
