This goes without saying but first make sure your fob has a working battery in it.
STEP 1:
First we want to get into our car with the fob we want to relink, and turn the key over just one click. So not to the full accessory position.
STEP 2:
Then as soon as you turn the key over, hold down a button on the fob and rapidly press the rear demister 3 times. It may take a few tries
STEP 3:
If you hit the sweet spot, you should hear the car run through a locking and unlocking sequence. After that, take out the key, step out of the car and check to make sure the fob is doing its thing.
And there we go, we now have a working fob again!
Bear in mind for every brand of car there will be a different method. Could be pulling the wiper stick, pressing a radio button etc. So research how you could do this on your car!
