I cant get to my driver side bolts, it looks like i got a little less room than you, mine is a touring 09’ 370z… we just cant get a ratchet or wrench down there to crank it! My engine HAS to be pulled😔
Awesome video! It's great seeing you put out content again! Did you weigh your headers? Have you thought about going boosted or are you staying NA? Great direction with your build man.
Excellent video, straight forward, and you made it sounds easier than what everyone said. However, it seems you didn't use torque wrench to fix the headers and test pipes?! Is it necessary? Can you please justify or explain more on this? Regards, N
Thanks man. no its not necessary but just make sure you tighten the nuts on the studs as tight as possible for the headers and for the test pipes just make sure the bolts are as tight as possible so you don't have any leaks.
@@jakesscc9184 thank you for the reply. How about the flexible wrench you used for the driver side headers? Can you please share the link from where to buy it. Also, in every video, I will be grateful if you put links of every tools you used. Thank you once again.

hey I’m a newer subscriber and I was wondering if you can please tell me the tools you used to take out the headers because I’m trying to do to take them off but I don’t know the name of the tools !
Question for you: did you end up torquing down the studs and nuts when putting them in or just hand tighten them? Not sure if it's possible to get a torque wrench down there. Thanks!
Sooo, I can appreciate this, I am looking at this exact same setup. Did you have any check engine lights? I know a tune will take care of that but wondered if you had that happen. Also, whats your exhaust smell like? Pretty bad in the cabin??
Changing headers wouldn't cause the smell in the cabin unless you do a cat delete and throw test pipes on or do long tube headers which is essentially thes same and even then it ain't too bad
yes i do agree with that because my oil does get hot in the summer. no i don't think so and i don't feel like it has that much of a blind spot but im also use to the car.
One reason I could think is if you plan on throwing on turbo long tube headers will increase turbo lag and shorty's are better for low to mid end power so it would depend on what kind of build you're going for but I ain't no perfeshinal
excellent video! very informative and thank you for showing all the tools etc. that you used
Much better than changing headers on a darn z32 thats for sure.
Would it be best to wrap it in some heat wrap?

Can’t believe I saw you take off that driver side heat shield upwards😮
When u had to take the steering shaft off or whatever when u put it back was it ramming into the header still?

Hey man can you help me with a question, can i pair z1 headers with kinetix hfc for a vq35de on my 370z?
Question for you: did you end up torquing down the studs and nuts when putting them in or just hand tighten them? Not sure if it's possible to get a torque wrench down there.
Thanks!
Im installing ISR shorties. They’re pretty similar in design. Was there a reason you didn’t use heat wrap? Im trying to decide if I need it or not
Get heat wrap, headers do get hot!
Nice video…. I hope we wont have to wait another year for the tune lol
Nice bro , did you notice any performance difference .

@TEARYEYEDCL0WN2313 yeah when I asked this i must have thougbt youbahd test pipes. Thsts what I was curious about. I must have misunderstood..lol
I always recommend a oil cooler for the 370. dope video, thinking about getting one do you feel like the blind spots mess up the driving experience?

@@jakesscc9184 you didn't have to remove the steering linkage?
Nice bro ,love u vedios man. Would you recommend z1 engine mounts. How does it feel for a daily driver and does it help transfer hp to wheels.
thanks man. yes absolutely. it definitely help transfer the power to the rear wheels and the NVH is not noticeable at all.
@@jakesscc9184 thanks
Will this be similar on g37 sedan?
Thanks bro
U do know that the 2015 nismo headers flow the same as a aftermarket ones?
less trumpet trumpet sound much deeper tone.
Why not longtubes that dont make no sense

Thumbs down because no sound
