Perhaps the owners of this channel or someone with knowledge can comment...... I have a Nissan 350z 2008 with a VQHR engine and was thinking about installing headers from Tomei. First question is would I see some sort of noticeable gains from this or are the original headers on the car good enough and the Tomei headers are just noisier? Second if installed would I have an issue with a check engine and light and if so would I need a tune too get rid of it and still pass NYS Inspection?
Tomei headers would require you use de test pipes or de art pipes unless you modify the flange of tomei headers to hr flange. Bang for buck would be a set of long tubes, why tomei? You wouldn’t be able to keep your oem hr cats with em anyways
I love the attention to detail!! Wish I had the money to get in on this giveaway. Actually a homeless, disabled veteran at the moment. So for now, I get to watch these sick videos and day dream. Lol! More positive note.. Lift and 4wd that shell, then definitely take it off some sweet jumps!! Lol
@@owensotak9498 not very true with vqs. Now if you mean keeping the stock intakes then I can see that but the 3 inch I takes have been proven to make a difference
Saying that you are underrated doesn't boost numbers, but I hope you guys realize that there is a world of dry boring murky "I paid a shop" type of content that doesn't help me learn a single thing. Even being a decent wrencher, a lot of the times I just decide not to do a project because it looks damn aggravating. So when these videos are clear, easy to understand, and take the intimidation factor out that would otherwise have me saying "nah, I don't think I wanna do that", it rekindles that fire to try that new project. Besides that, you guys are great on camera and were super easy going when I met you up at AMP. Hope you are having as much fun doing this as it is to watch it. Would be fun to win this car and can shake your hands right before smoking the tires off that thing. If not, I will just build my own now. 🙂
@@CrickettFab dude, you guys work so fast. The experience shows. Loving the content. I've came over from Drift Games when they visited. I look forward to more videos you guys put out.
Can't believe y'all only have 78k subs. This channel is fire! Keep up the amazing work!!
Appreciate it! So close to 100k!

Turn that shell into a buggy but see if RTR/Funhaver would do some wild suspension in some kind of crossover ?
Morning things: almost spit coffee out of my nose to the flopping shifter cut-in.. so thanks xD
😅
After 27k miles my clutch slave cylinder gave out on me at school. I ordered that z1 one in the video, I'm currently at 81k miles with no issues
What an awesome video.
Great editing, great job showing how the parts come together an all.
Really enjoyed this.
Just curious. How much would you charge a customer for this service to be done to their 370? excluding the cost of parts of course
NEED MOAR E92 VIDEOS!!!!

Good luck man!
Does a plenum spacer even do anything?
Z1 intakes would of been a much better choice since they are true cold air intakes besides that great vid
true cold air intakes have little to no benefit with no turbo/tuning
@@owensotak9498 they said in the video it’s getting tuned might as well put cold air intakes before tune
@@owensotak9498 not very true with vqs. Now if you mean keeping the stock intakes then I can see that but the 3 inch I takes have been proven to make a difference
@@Cr8tiveDre yes but they only make a difference with tuning is without a tune its very minimal to no noticable difference
Joel..... we need a compilation of those singing outtakes.

You can get those spark plugs on rockauto for 13 dollars a piece
I only watched this because I've done all this on a 09 Nismo, good times but I didn't have a lift so dropping the motor wasn't quite as easy 😅
