Did anyone ask/report on what the warrant was for? Did they let this man know/ask him by phone, mail,etc that he has a warrant and needs to turn himself in?

Dude clearly this man had no problem killing multiple people. These officers risk their lives every day to protect everyone, the least you can do is show some respect to the fallen. I agree that he shouldn't have been out on the streets, but since he was, who else was going to serve the warrant? There are multiple people to blame here for sure, but it certainly isn't the officer's fault that our court system decided to let a criminal out of prison who was still dangerous to the public.
