Today we take a look at some of the rarest items that you probably missed in Fallout 4 on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. This are all vanilla weapons appearing in Fallout 4 the base game and the DLC. These are extremely uncommon and collectible so hopefully this video acts as a Fallout 4 walkthrough to help you find some. These items may be modified or moved by Fallout 4 mods on PC, Xbox One, or PS4.

0:41 "Maybe you play too much Fallout 4 and that's a little weird..."
I'm watching a video about a 2 year old game that I still play. Of course I play too much Fallout 4. And I'm ok with that.
Jason Terschak you’re wrong 3
when he said that i laughed really hard for some reason
I watch too many VIDEOS about Fallout 4.
So are the rest of us. Two thumbs up!
Guilty lol
surgical mask did not age well..
How
To sum it up:
A drug and its variant
A surgical mask
A leopard print bandana
And some junk that no one would really collect or hang onto unless they were on the cast of American Pickers.
Yeah, this video is mostly a waste of time
I collect rare junk
Put m in a museum of stuff
@@ghoulgang2258 Same. Especially the unique sized items.
I have collected and kept every single laundered dress or other apparel and every "clean glass" or "clean plate" and every "unused" item in the realm. EVERY item. I have about 25 safes in my Red Rocket stack with 120 legendary weapons and 100 legendary armor pieces, over 2000 various grenades and mines, and I have been starting to collect and improve heavy combat armor sets, and my Quantum Zappers, of course. To sum up my game play, I collect EVERYTHING. I KEEP the good stuff and dissemble the rest or sell it. You must not have done much settlement build ups. Materials are needed everywhere.
He predicted us liking the face mask
So you're telling me you somehow didn't know that face masks were in the game
Liking?
@@dank1389 what's the problem with that
Burge cuz they don't stop the rona
Or anything else
Is one of the super rare items a way to keep Preston quiet sometimes while in Sanctuary? So many settlements so little time.
Xehonort Windrunner yes there is an item for that actually, it is called the open the console click on preston and typing /kill the most useful item without a doubt
Spec_Ops Gaming, im a console player too and I had a mod installed to do that but forgot the name you'll have to look around for it sorry(not my mod btw)
Or the send him to a settlement that he sent you to protect that you own so you get your revenge.
Accept and ignore.
Either never go to Concord or don't follow Preston's group back to Sanctuary. You can't get annoyed by someone you haven't met. It's pretty simple.
Coffee tins... aren't as rare as you think. They're on the "random scrap" drop list, meaning literally any vendor with a junk tab can have it. It's also a pretty common pick up through scavenging stations.
i am sure i have picked more than six up too , maybe the same ones on various playthroughs i guess
Indeed. I have collected 24 of them so far.
One would hope it's not rare: it is a component of crafting 'Slocum Joe's BuzzBites'.
The Fallout wiki shows 17 locations with coffee tins. Perhaps he meant there are only six of the "clean coffee tin" variant?
YT won't let me edit my post.... I guess he wasn't talking about the clean ones because he went on to say there are only 4 of those.
got to say this video is really stretching it, I mean really? a aluminum oil can... come on
That’s what’s stretching it for you guys you don’t find him saying “aluminium (A-Lou-Min-E-Um)” instead of what normal people say “aluminum (A-Lou-Min-Um)” that’s the most annoying part
lol
193 countries pronounce it the way you don't like. Two (The USA and Canada) pronounce it your preferred way. If one way is "normal" it's certainly not yours.
@@Avanorne r/murderedbywords
Kills me that it drops steel when you scrap it not aluminium...
450 hours in fallout 4 and I’m still finding new things. Love this game.
Amd I thot I was a lover with only 24 hours ha
i found a napkin on a raider
And they say raiders are savages!
Must be a a very clean raider
I do too
Outstanding move!
Surgical mask is easy to find in Pickman's Gallery. A perfect item to keep the mystery of The Silver Shroud identity.
There’s only room for one silver shroud in good neighbor
One of my favorite rare items is the Happy Birthday sweet roll. Only one in the world that I'm aware of. I always put it in my main settlement restaurant with my perfectly preserved pies, and other rare food items.
Imagine if you will. Spawning into a Fallout 4 settlement as a settler and being like, "Oh sweet I got a leopard bandana." and then seeing the player character sprinting at you in full power armor with a minigun out.
Surgical mask can be ballistic weaved and can wear helmet or hat with ballistic weave with it. Its pretty op...
Heychuh NOICE
Base game SWEET
can it?
Now I need it
too bad the leopard print bandana looks too much like some macho guy's banana hammock for me to wear.
There's an outfit called the "Tattered Field Jacket" that I believe is only on one dead NPC in Jamaica Plains, and doesn't exist anywhere else.
Yes! I remember the first time I got this. I spent a lot of time looking around for more because I wanted to outfit all of the Jamaica Plain settlers with one. I don't know if I ever realized there was only one in the game. Eventually I discovered Elianora's wrdrobe mods, and haven't looked back. lol
You know how it's easier to find things when you don't need them or aren't looking for them? We most of the things on this list I have found and didn't care about them
TheCaveJunkie except for the leopard skin bandana I have every single item in both videos and I have less than 150 hours into the game😂
RobinLikeABoss in each of my playthroughs I have found the leopard skin bandana but always leave it or sell it because I don't care for it
TheCaveJunkie wow your cool
jordan5221 well tbh its not like something really cool, I only played the game to customize the character and frankly bandanas looked kinda tacky with the outfits I wore
I've definitely seen like all of these and didn't notice or care, it's just scrap.
Micah Philson ikr I thought this list would have some super rare weapon I’ve never seen before
Micah Philson stfu ur the wierd one he was talking about
Clouds Clyde whats your problem?
I bet you didn’t find Calmex Silk
fr
actually the coffee tins i always scrap for aluminum since ITS WORTHLESS
It is part of ingredients to make Slocum Joe's Buzz-bites.
EM3 Flame it’s worthless and common
Those Tins are only good for decorating settlements alongside hotplates and coffee pots and mugs to give it realistic appeal.
Buzz-Bites are NOT worthless!
Coffee tins are everywhere same as the oil cans 😂 this is bs
I wouldn’t say coffee tins are everywhere but yea I’ve found them on accident
He said the aluminum oil cans are rare not the normal ones
@@MrSad-my3xc He also said that Tin cans can be found only on 6 locations which is kinda bullshit comparing to the fact that on my lv 128 i scrap at least 3 of them every time i go back to sanctuary
There is a coffee tin in your house in sanctury at the start of the game.
@@MrSad-my3xc He also said CLEAN coffee tins. These people need their Adderall.
Out of ideas?
basshead yes
"oh no i scrapped a rare coffee tin!" - this guy^
"Too much" Fallout 4. 😏 Like that's a real thing.
True haha
haggiswarrior at least as not as much as skyrim
haggiswarrior legend!
haggiswarrior right i mean i just cant find enough adhesives and aluminum
Right but never to much fallout Los Vegas.
Oh man, I found a lot of those "rare" items.. I have all of 'em stored away. I love searching for unique outfits, like Geneva's Outfit.. that Letterman Jacket..
they aren’t unique tho😭😭
What about the U.S. flag bandana?
Grunt #16 u can buy that from the vendor in diamond city
The only time I found it was on my minuteman general character which was great
its at monsignor plaza
(i spelt that wrong)
@Tj if you type in the stars and stripes bandana in your search bar a bunch of videos will show you the exact spot
if you are super lucky you might find an npc wearing one
(but i mean SUPER lucky lol)
The leopard bandana was the first bandana I found on my first character and since then I've never come across another. I'm sure they are a rare spawn chance, but I think the issue is more that raider attack dogs are the only enemy that is likely to even have a bandana.
similar situation here ! my very first playthrough yeaaaaars ago, can't even remember where but early game it spawned on a raider. Dogmeat ended up rocking it for most of the playthrough though haha
"6 meh items the youtuber thinks you missed" fixed your title for you bro, i got you
I was playing a modded character when I found my first leopard print bandana, and I was like “I wanna do a legit no mod play through again” and found one before level 15. I think it’s kind of neat to have the rarer items in game
Leopard Print bandana can ALWAYS be found on a named dog that shows up on the east part of the ruins in a building I think near Buttercup manufacturer offices. There are two named dogs and a hostile man that show up in that building and I have gotten it there on every play thru. I can double check the location later and update this if necessary.
You never updated this. It was necessary…
The absolute rarest item is actually a "packaged Boston Bugle". A newspaper wrapped for shipping that was supposed to be part of a cut quest caught partly under a rock near a mailbox and a bus stop in the neighborhood south of hopes union cathedral. There's only one, and it's so easy to miss you could walk by it a million times in a playthrough and never notice it.
When you a have nothing else to talk about fallout so you talk about napkins and coffee
JuiceHead There’s only 2 Aluminum oil cans Me realizing I scraped one
well that face mask one didnt age well coming from nov 1 2020
"coffee tins are rare" Me, the kleptomaniac scrapper turning all the coffee tins I find into beds and turrets: "... Oh"
If you've seen everything on this list maybe you play too much fallout 4 and that's a little weird... What kind of weirdo would not play too much fallout 4 and yet watch hours and hours of youtube videos on it? That would be more weird.
Zei Kul you're fucking ANNOYING
Kaiden Desjarlais that’s just uncalled for
LOL i see what u did there .
Wait clamex is rare looks at pip boy “I’m getting banned aren’t I”

As a professional hoarder I can say that I found all these items by chance on my first/second playthrough except for NukaWorld Calmex Silk.
Professional hoarder😂👍🏽I’m dead
Oh so rare is Xcell. Oh so rare are homing beacons.
The Leopard print bandanna is rare? I put a beacon in one of my settlements and the 2nd settler had one. I barely gave it heed
Oh yeah! 'We play too much Fallout 4!' Says the pot to the kettle! HaHaHa!
1. Calmex check
2. Surgical mask check
3. Coffee tin check clean coffee tin check
4. Aluminum oil can check
5.napkin check
6.leopard print bandana check
I didn't know the coffee tins were so rare, i have 3 in use on shelfs in various settlements 2 of which are clean, it's only buy chance that I kept them because they were so clean and i liked them
The Fallout wiki shows 17 locations with coffee tins so they are not as rare as he says.
You missed the rare “Hacksaw” tool. Found during the Fantasy items quest after exiting Hubris Comics and going for sword and helmet.

If you want to farm out the leopard print there is a good method. First build a lvl 3 clothing store. Second assign a settler. Third check settlers offers for bandana. Fourth if bandana isn't there store the clothing stand and then reapeat steps one and two. Fifth step sleep in bed for 1 hr the check settlers offers. Rinse repeat till you get it.
This method takes me usually 30-50 minutes to get the leapord print bandana.
I found all of the items on the list did some one else find all of these items.
Fallout 4 Lover your gay no lie
Fallout4 Lover yup. ^^
Didn't know the leo bandana was that rare, tbh.
That AK5C looks sick with the blue wrap, very lore friendly.
The surgical mask is also available in Pickman's place.
"maybe you seen everything on this list, maybe you play too much fallout 4, thats a little weird. Anyways..." I laughed to this, relatable. LUL
I got calmex on ghouls all the time
Sure
are u ghoulasexul ?
john smith no he is
Mark Maiden yeah I was disappointed when he mentioned calmex and coffee tins because calmex is really common and coffee tins are also really common
General Kalani yeah i come across them on ghouls and tins are in every restaurant area
I'm a bit late but the last persuasion technique you were reffing to is the "Door in the Face" trick.
I don't care for any of these items but I think maybe my game is glitches because there are multiple coffee tins in most places.theyre not like everywhere but not rare at all either 🤷
I think the Door-In-The-Face Phenomenon was what you were looking for mate.
I swear if this guy says
Alu mini um
I’m gonna be mad
European name, orignally it was aluminum but 19th century british scientists renamed it to follow the other elemental names. However in NA the original name was kept.
Someone else probably posted this already, but the second psychological technique you described is called the "Door in the Face" technique.
I love the surgical mask. It looks super cool, especially paired with polymer combat armor with a shirt and slacks underneath. Looks awesome and looks like a friendly mercenary.
Also, i have, like, 10 leopard print bandanas
The coolest thing about FO4 is that I don't think any game is the same. I've had people tell me they cant find a certain ammo. I have thousands. Or a certain junk item. I see them all over. I think it was cool they made it pretty random on junk
I ended the video after the intro.
John Inoy good choice
John Inoy how did you comment this
Johnathan keyboard
By scrolling down to the comments and typing.
"if you've seen all six items you play to much fallout 4" says the person making the video about finding all 6
i like these videos lol never in any of my play throughs have i noticed the napkin and that leopard print mask!
JuiceHead Drinking Game: Have a shot each time he says "actually"
You can never play too much fallout 4
Coffee tins are used to craft Slocum's Buzzbites.
didn't know leopard print was rare I thought they where tacky and I ignored them...
Foslix the leopard print makes me think it's from someones underwear
I got yelled at by my english teacher for pronouncing aluminum correctly... gotta love Missouri.
Why do you say aluminum like that? It's pronounced
al-loom-in-um
THANK YOU I'm suprised no one else called him out on that lol
The pronunciation depends on where you come from.
Al-i-min-yum or A-loom-in-num
the rarest item in the game is a grenade added from the nuka world dlc. it's called the "lucky rabbits foot" it's a grenade but your only supposed to equip it not throw it. when equipped it gives you an extra 10% to exp and an extra 3 luck permanently. so long as it stays equipped
Jesus Christ, people are still commenting "first"...
FIFAProgamer031205 first comment to reply
Kaiden Desjarlais no I’m first
First
Average Guy no me
Yoga4 nuts no u
The rarest item in Fallout is the last number to complete a billiard ball set. The first eight are easy enough, but they get so much rarer as you go.
wrong, google exists.
LOL @ Juicehead's logical fallacy and hypocrisy.... claiming that people don't know about these items (despite the fact he had to learn about many of them from other players)... and then he claims that if we did know about all of these items before this video, we must therefore be "weird" and play too much fallout.
As of 2018, this video is outdated. I haven't played FO4 in years, and I knew about all these items already.... and with the exception of the leopard banana, I had no problem finding any of them in good numbers. I did three playthroughs with few to no mods (vanilla), as they kept adding DLCs.... and probably another three times heavily modded. But that was at least 1-2 years ago.... this info is old news... sorry.
I have played Fallout 4 for 25 hours and found the leopard bandana on an attack dog. Had no idea it was rare.
Why does everybody play as a woman? Am I missing something, or is it just a lot of 'Forever Alone' guys that like to stare at video game arses?
GamingDude2000 the black widow perk becomes very useful with a female character
There is a male equivalent perk, so yeah.
GamingDude2000 I believe its better then the lady perk because more male enemies spawn compared to female so the perk becomes very useful, but thats only what I've read 🤷♀️
True, but I don't believe that it's worth losing my manhood over, but that's just me.
@@iim4xii129 Your manhood is affected by a video game?
I've found Calmex in containers before. Pretty sure I've found more than six coffee tins. And I get that leopard print bandana pretty early in the game very time.
What is this "too much fallout 4" NO SUCH THING
amen fallout 4 is like war . it even ends .
I could be wrong, but isn't there a coffee tin in your own kitchen in Sanctuary?
Nothing new
I swear i collect coffee tins and I've got more than 6 coffee tins
i stopped watching morrowind shitposts for this
Necaid
What a grand and intoxicating innocence.
What is the gun you use at the beginning of the video with the cool scope?
my new knowladge of sales speech has given me +1 charisma
That second psychological phenomenon of asking a big favor first and then the smaller one later is called "door in the face effect".
The napkin is super rare because most of them were lost in the battle for the holy corpse.
Man that surgical mask might be from 2021
that ghoul who is wearing the surgical mask is also wearing a dog collar as a wrist band
i’ve found tons of red, skull, and camo bandanas but i’ve never seen leopard print before this video, and i recently noticed one of my settlers with a rocket ship bandana!
you can actually find Calmex laying around the comonwelth as well but its so rare that you have a better chanse to find it at the shop.
Those poor coffee tins, eliminated by the sole survivor for WHAT? A STREET LAMP? ;-;
Lol I found the leopard print bandana on a raider without knowing it was hard to find. “Oh what’s this beautiful thing here”
My brother: one of the devs for items, didn't know most of these.
Proper napkins are made of linen, very much something you'd find in a nice clothes store.
Of my 4 playthroughs of Fallout 4, I've gotten leopard print bandanas every single time. Multiples of them. Maybe it's just luck.
what's up with the G36 you're using in the video? I like it and wanna use it
“Maybe you play too much Fallout 4 & that’s a little weird” - I strongly disagree lol
Talking about settlers, there's another settlement that needs your help. Here I'll mark it on your map
“Maybe you play too much fallout 4 and that’s a little weird..”
Not a good way to start off for people new to your channel huh?
Sealed Boston Bugle near Cambridge park is a truly unique item left over from cut content.
Clean striped suits and bathrobes. THOSE THINGS ARE SO HARD TO FIND!!!
"6 useless pieces of junk no one cares about in their playthroughs that I can use to get ad revenue"
bruh i swear to god i've gotten the leopard bandana so many times and i didn't even know it was "rare"
Juicehead in prison inmates do that. Eventually the females do the big favors after doing the small favors because they feel a bond. Good info. I was a CO not an inmate btw. Good vid.
There’s an “L” in the Calmex. It’s not “ka-mex”, it’s “calm” and then “ex”
