While selling drugs is a good money maker you need a proper farm to make it work. You even find enough before getting to red rocket to do the duplicate trick so can have infinite caps 5 minutes into the game before ever starting a quest if you don’t see your Mr handy
@@scott8448 Not really? It only needs plastic and fertilizer. You can buy fertilizer shipments, and plastic is very abundant. And no. no, no NO, to selling nuclear material. It's required for fusion power plants. I'm level64 in my current playthrough and didn't even start the main storyline, that's the junk I collect from the start of the game, and I still don't have enough. Also I don't really see what caps are good for anyway, I don't really buy stuff aside from the occasional ballistic fiber shipments.
@@timspiker in this game the drugs are just too valuable to give up for caps, the chems are just too useful for yourself, so i'm almost never doing the selling, and mostly doing the buying or manufacturing for myself lol.
@@5226-p1e That's crazy, I play survival but I never touched a chem. I only use buffouts or liquor when I'm carrying too much loot and I need to get back to base. But I got nerd rage unlocked in my perks, which in a tricky situation does the same as psychojet. Jet can be nice for clearing big gaps, but so can a power armor jetpack ironically. So it's not necessary to take them. I found good body armor early on and found some unique weapons which allowed me to cheeze a lot of the game. irl I agree with you though 😂
You should do a vid on the hidden caches of stuff you can find from radio towers. Stuff like where "The Gainer" is found, the mass fusion containment shed reactor room, and the lost raider in a cave in the glowing sea. There's also some interesting unmarked buildings you could look into.
of these, Calvin or General Atomics are probably the most difficult to find. I think I was aware of the General Atomics one but never did it and never spoke to Calvin as after speaking to a number of denizens of Vault 81 I found most of them were uninteresting and just stopped talking to new ones I met. I'm very familiar with the Wedding Day quest as I accidentally did it on my very first play through of the game. Great video 👍
I had fun sneaking around vault 81 to steal all the tools, then sell them back to Calvin. There's a lot of them in the depot keeper's quarters. I have had to wait out a rest cycle to get him to reappear. Alternatively once you've rescued the cat you can just collect all the tools and sell them to him. The NPC who sees that cat leave will complain that their tool was just right there and has dissappeared once you've taken it.
I also pick up every tool I can find, and every tool I can buy from a vendor, for 1 or 2 caps, just so I can help the Vault by selling them to Calvin for 15 caps each. Nice profit, BUT not weight per cap efficient. With all the barter perks, I get over 100 caps per 0.1 weight, for selling Addictol. That comes to over 1,000 caps per a weight unit of 1, when you have 10 Addictol. It is WAY more profitable than Jet, but, more of a pain to collect all the ingredients needed to craft it.
I’ve always dismissed the school house thinking there’s no reason what so ever to go there. Had the game since the release & never knew there was a hidden quest there 😮
Is it wrong to assume the barricades you find aren't from the vault tec rep? He said he was there for a year, and he probably didn't know how to operate fire arms to well, which would lead to him barricading. We find a house in sanctuary with a pretty heavily defended living room, which with this information, I would assume was built by him
When I think of them getting it on, I remember the safety posters you see, showing someone's hand being crushed between two gears, with the warning to avoid letting body parts get too close to moving machinery. Sorry Miss Edna, but this isn't going to work out. Good bye.
@@manofwarbBecause the Fisto quest makes it clear that even in the Wasteland, the right "parts" for robots can be built. In other words, it could definitely work out right for those two.
Vault tech guy ghoul is a non essential npc so he can die on the way to sanctuary, depending on your difficulty setting you may want to escort him to sanctuary, or cheat and set him as essential, same for Sheffield after you give him the cola.
While I get the premise, if you don’t get XP for finishing the “quest” I don’t consider it a “quest”. This is more random encounters since the only XP you get are from speech checks.
i always visit the vault tec rep, he is the only reason our char and his family (with the unfortunate exception of the spouse due to external circumstances) survives - he deserves better than the cards he was dealt also the selling tools guy is a cool guy who turns junk weight into money, and for roleplaying reasons youre helping a fellow vault
15 caps a pop for tools? Idk man tools dont provide a whole lot more than steel and maybe a gear or screw, with scrapper i can get that from shitty raider loot doesnt sound like that bad a deal to me
its quite useful at the start, usually any component that you could want you can buy from Alexis for cheaper so, decent source of early game caps i suppose
All tools are for settlements is scrap steel - it doesn't seem to make any difference what it's part of. Also, once you've done the other quests, Pemski just thanks you for saving Austin and never asks about fertiliser. And what's the deal with test tubes? I only ever found the note after I'd gained access to vault 81 and nobody even mentions them.
It really adds up, I get thousands and thousands of caps each time I bring him tools. I get way more steel (and better) from scrapping weapons and armor, like you already said, so the tools aren't even worth picking up UNLESS you're selling it to Calvin. And these tools are everywhere, I just grab them as I go and when I feel like it I fast travel to Vault 81. The only catch is that he only spawns in during the day, he doesn't have a bed he sleeps in or something, so if you can't find him ya likely gotta wait for daytime hours. Now that I have the perk that allows me to run and fast travel while over encumbered, it's gonna be even easier.
To be honest a guard telling you about a weird place isn't really a "quest" even though it shows on your pipboy. All it shows is the location and you have no ideia what to find.
I honestly didn't know these were considered actual "quests"😅 I got so used to everything being marked, or at least mentioned in the miscellaneous section that I figured they were considered "random encounter"
General Atomics is another one that is often overlooked. And there are two ways to do it. If you visit all of the shops in the mall first, the robots will essentially kill themselves. However, if you go in first and do all the things needed by the supervisor without vising them, you can fix their bugs and they will all remain as vendors.
If you talk to the bartender at Bunker Hill, Joe Savoldi, he will offer you a job, which results in the Miscellaneous Quest "Find any trace of Brent Savoldi".
There's a quest in Far Harbor on Cranberry Island. You fix and turn on the 3 power generators in different locations on Cranberry Island then you go to Cranberry Island bog and open the door that was locked until you repaired and turned the 3 generators back on. There's a shed key. The shed is located on the coast of Cranberry Island. Inside the shed is a ton of rare settlement building materials.
There’s another quest in diamond city that I just recently found. There’s another doctor lab that’s not doc croc but 2 female npcs. The room is located between 1st and 2nd base
There's one quest maybe not hidden, but you need to be lucky to find it. You'll met a lady named Ness at random encounter location and she'll give a quest to clear out the crashed vertibird area. In the end you can choose how you want the quest to end, betray her or agree with her.
I think every beacon quest is an unmarked quest. There are a couple of these quest to find, you just have to activate the satellites at the relay towers across the map and you can follow the signal on your Pipboy.
I've started that first unmarked quest and killed everybody, recruited the vault-tec representative, found the General Atomics hidden the quest, and the wedding quest. I guess the collecting tool for pay quest is hardest to find
I'm surprised the tool quest is not more commonly known. If you're patient, you can make a ridiculous (and consistent) amount of caps from those sales.
For the Safe in the General Atomics Factory I use the console Unlock command, mainly because for some reason the walls and floors in the building glitch and vanish (Very disorientating)
I really only have one thing that I've never heard anyone talk about, and I only found it this week after 9 years of playing this game. Nothing crazy, but just south and across the pond at Monsignor Plaza is an unmarked location called Science Center Gift Shop. Inside is a Mr.Handy who operates whats essentially a junk vendor. His best item is probably the Copper Shipment - 50. I dont know if it got added with the new weapons creation club content (or I just never ever found it before), but this guy was a huge help when I found him, and I'm just glad I decided to talk to him first before scrapping him like the rest
Got the Vault-tec rep in most play throughs, but the last one, I found his body just outside of Good Neighbor. I'm not sure why that happened since he was on the way to Sanctuary😮
There is the science quest that asks you to kill a botfly part which you are given if you speak to the chatty woman in the science centre in Diamond City, not particularly interesting but its another unmarked quest.
Considering farming Purified Water brings in 40-50,000 caps per day, and there’s NOTHING special you need to do that requires running around to accomplish this, there’s really no reason to worry about dropping off fertilizer and tools to the peeps in Vault 81.
@@johnnybraccia452 Trust me i have walked around all the coast for hours for days at a time. Other places you can find him are west of glowing grove, north of bait and tackle, outside the oceanarium. Searched far and wide on google and UA-cam with no luck. Thanks for trying though. Also east of atom springs
I've always had to have a settlement started in Far Harbor first, before it would come up. Usually Dalton Farm or Echo Lake Lumber Mill. Then, either the signal will pop up (for a sec) without you tuning in, or one of the settlers will tell you about it.
When I found the cult at the theater as I was going to the back to be initiated a vertibird crashed killing the leader and a few other members, I was wondering if that was supposed to happen I guess not lol
the map will show that she is back in her room at their house but shes not there and even if you clip through her door, its just an empty room with a quest marker that says she is there
Give a nuka cola to the guy who sits outside the shop that sells Swattas in Diamond City. It makes him recruitable and you can send him to a settlement.
The Vault Tec rep might give happiness but his persistent "Prepared For The Future" in Sanctuary. I didn't have a choice with the Preston-doo gang but he can stay in Goodneighbor. it's not personal.
In my game the Vault Tech rep is broken once I recruit him. I have tried him in Sanctuary Abernathy and Oberland and he will not sell any items, just keeps repeating the dialogue about how good the sole survivor looks. Shame, I liked that little quest
Vault 81 is messed up for me besides how people look. I’ve talked to these people and they won’t give me the quests. I’ll have to go back and try again.
Lmao I didn’t know you could talk the cult leader down 🤣 literally every single time I’ve come across him I just start blasting as soon as I get cult vibes.
I have Vault Rep manning a store in my latest posted Sanctuary build. Not a BS store either, for all he's been thru, he's even stocked with Sugar Bomb T51 Power Armor.
Should have called it your top ?? Unmarked quests. I miss alot lot more. Every faction has it own unmarked missions too, some even more than one. Talking about 81, you've missed the Tina and Holt Comb story. You got the Vaulttec Rep guy, but no word of the other lvl 4 traders.Okey the latter are no true missions right,,, do it wrong and you'll never get those traders. Last but not least the message in a bottle 5 of them. Sure I didn't mention a lot lot more unmarked sidemissions. You might call this vid prt 1 to be right again.
I been on the game for 25 days the hours and hours on fallout4 plus if u have the dlcs bro legit I stop playing all my other games to focus on fallout 4
It is probably not a hidden quest but if you go to Cabot house and help the son Jack kill his father Lorenzo Cabot you can wait 7 in game days then revisit the Cabot house and Jack will give you the unique Gamma Gun Lorenzo's Artifact and man what a great gun and definitely one of a kind. Just be careful using it because just like the explosive minigun it is devastating to anything living bit if you fire off in too close of quarters or with your weapon pointed down you are dead..... I didnt look any of that stuff up so to me it was hidden but after I went inside the Cabot house and read everything on the termibals I ended up making 3 seperate sace files so I could see how they play out and personally I love the Artifact Weapon so Lorenzo must die and unless you gas him he is ridiculously hard to defeat in a fight it was awesome

If you talk to the bartender at Bunker Hill, Joe Savoldi, he will offer you a job, which results in the Miscellaneous Quest "Find any trace of Brent Savoldi".
Only found you today brudda and I have to say. Liked, subscribed and looking forward to future content
You also need to include all the radio tower distress calls as side quests. Though they don't offer exp points, they add to the overall story.
Isn't the 3 part test under the red panel part of the Automatron questline? That's how I encountered it.
There's one quest maybe not hidden, but you need to be lucky to find it. You'll met a lady named Ness at random encounter location and she'll give a quest to clear out the crashed vertibird area. In the end you can choose how you want the quest to end, betray her or agree with her.
There is this whole obstacle course/Maze in a parking garage (I think near Fallons) which is reminiscent of the trap maze in FO3
The face bug from vault 81! I thought it was my mods doing that, next gen update really did break a lot omg.
I'm surprised the tool quest is not more commonly known. If you're patient, you can make a ridiculous (and consistent) amount of caps from those sales.
What are you talking about? Everyone does store a machete in the fridge.
Wow, narrator sounds like FO4 male Sole Survivor
Great vid!
The issue with Dr Penske's face wasn't caused by the next gen update its been an issue with her and Tina De Luca for a while now.
Hoped this would have tips on how to get the ship breaker radio signal, years later it's still the only quest i can't start reliably
Walk along the coast of Far Harbor I found it due east of the Visitor Center. It might move, i dont know where i found it other times.
@@FullMetalJedi guess I just got lucky when I came across it.
I've always had to have a settlement started in Far Harbor first, before it would come up. Usually Dalton Farm or Echo Lake Lumber Mill. Then, either the signal will pop up (for a sec) without you tuning in, or one of the settlers will tell you about it.
Its more fun to run into the Vault Tec guy after going home with Magnolia
When I found the cult at the theater as I was going to the back to be initiated a vertibird crashed killing the leader and a few other members, I was wondering if that was supposed to happen I guess not lol
I got a quest from Hancock to check out why raiders went silent suddenly near pickmans gallery. I got this before rescuing nick
in reality if you fight the cult members befor emogene, it will glitch her quest and make that questline unfinishable without console commands
the map will show that she is back in her room at their house but shes not there and even if you clip through her door, its just an empty room with a quest marker that says she is there
It was fine for me! Had a speech check that basically said “don’t make me turn you into the old leader”
@@amandaallman2469 i got that as well but then emigene was not there
2 playthroughs in a row
@@gocle oh weird she was there for me!! Almost every Brotherhood quest is glitched tho
Can we get this video for New Vegas?
Yeah, I’m actually working on it currently. I hope to have it done in a few days. 👍
There is still a lot that you will only find by exploring.
Great vid. Keep up the good work.
Never knew about the wedding
Maybe im missing something but, why do you need tools for settlements?
Vault 81 is messed up for me besides how people look. I’ve talked to these people and they won’t give me the quests. I’ll have to go back and try again.
Lmao I didn’t know you could talk the cult leader down 🤣 literally every single time I’ve come across him I just start blasting as soon as I get cult vibes.
I think a lot of the miscellaneous quests might have started out as unmarked quests.
Forgot selling melons at farm near sanctuary
What about the bottles on the beach missions
Yeah It felt like I was missing some quests when I murdered all those guys at the ampetheatre
I have Vault Rep manning a store in my latest posted Sanctuary build. Not a BS store either, for all he's been thru, he's even stocked with Sugar Bomb T51 Power Armor.
what mod is that @ 3:30
Ummm....... What about covenant? That's an unmarked quest. Diamond City blues is another good one. That one has a lot to it!
Fallout 3: 37 minute video
Fallout 4: 13 minute video.
Quite the drop-off there bethesda. But i guess streamlining them into Misc like Skyrim helps
True
What is that gun you're using in the first quest????
The big flamer thing? I think I got it from the new enclave stuff added in the new update.
Best lil trick go to the amphitheater in your underwear with no weapons and pick them up right outside when done
I been on the game for 25 days the hours and hours on fallout4 plus if u have the dlcs bro legit I stop playing all my other games to focus on fallout 4
Poor Penske, the next gen update really messed up her face.
Is that actually how she looks? Or was that just the brown face bug
@@flameguy3416her and Tina de Luca specifically seem to be affected by it.
the Yangtze submarine is also an unmarked quest with a Chinese ghoul onboard
Awww poor Vault Tec Rep-Guy...
Its said fallout 4 being the latest fallout game has the least amount the new vegas and fallout 3 videos had way more quest
I dont remember how it went...but that cult leader ended up with a solar cannon bullet in the head.
Did not know of the last one 😮
Vault tec ghoul recruiter looks like Jim Carey from the mask
Dr Penske looking like a baked potato
I think the next gen patch broke her because she is also blackfacing in my game. 💀
