There's is a lot of new stuff betheda could improve in fallout 4, like fix Danse conversations after leave BoS, a flight system management (like have your own flight), a true "diamond city house" (instead of the trash selled in diamond city), trash removal for settlements, real defense values for settlements (because the defense is the same with a settler with a pipe pistol and a settler with heavy armor and gattling minigun) and a harder difficulity (like no power armor available), they can add or improve some dialogs to add a more realistic conversation, karma system and raiders and gunners as a faction to join.... a lot of things i think.
The funny thing about the vault salesman guy is that he acts like he wanted them to let him into the vault after 200 years, but he would most likely be dead due to the cryogenic chamber failure
Huge main story spoilers! It wasn't actually an accidental failure, Shaun turned it off on purpose because he didn't care about anyone else in the vault despite them being his old neighbors and shutoff their life support
Just a little correction. The UFO encounter happens when you reach level 20, having played FO4 using multiple accounts it always happens to me at level 20. Cool video though!
And it's relatively easy to find, just activate the nearby radio tower after you see the ship scream through the sky, and tune into the radio broadcast. It will lead you directly to the ship and the cave where you will find the ham radio.
When you do the first mission with Paladin Danes at the end of that mission when your gonna press the button to start the (rocket) Missile you can just stand there and let paladin take out the synths over and over again and when you feel up for it click the button and then grab the loot from all (1000) corpses and get a (never ending) source of fusion cells 😎😎
Normally I wouldn't care about what he says. But your comment made me think twice about him. Maybe he could tell us stories about how he survived for 200 years? Man, we need to get Paul Eiding on this.
Re: the Diamond City glitch room - You can get up there pretty easily if you use the power armor jet pack, so it's possible they wanted you to be able to find it
There should be an abandoned observatory somewhere to the northwest, of which contains a large stash of steel for settlements. I'm pretty sure a set of X-01 Power Armor was there too, complete with jetpack.
Found a random Ghoul Doctor named Bethany. I was on my way to Sunshine Tidings co-op and don’t recall ever running into her before but she lives in an area like the glowing Sea; with the molten ground and all that. Probably a waste of caps to get radiation treatment unless you’re in a suit of Power Armor or Hazmat Suit and already have the poisoning, then it’s probably fine.
There's a bar based on 'Cheers' (called Prost) which is easy to miss because the door is at basement level. The place that houses 'The Gainer' is again easy to miss.
In the General Atomics Factory there's a hidden away area for evaluating the behaviour of Ms Nanny. Just walk in there, it's a kind of puzzle area, pretty fun
There's a nice hidden sewer hole just up from tufington boat hose. a note on the dead settler leave clues about it. fair amount of loot, and a chem station inside as well
The "Glitch Room" can be reached with no glitch necessary once you get a jetpack for your power armor, so I'm pretty sure it's an Easter egg that is, in fact, meant to be accessible.
@stellarfox5869 I've only gotten into FO4 these past few months. So I'm still learning the map and locations. But any idea if this got patched out or not ? 👍
Ok so I never knew that it happened, I was walking around and fell in a hole. Later fell in a different hole looking for bears and found him. Went back to show proof to my brother and found the RAYGUN
I remember playing New Vegas, and randomly coming across spots full of enemies, or I would find somebody who would give me a misc quest, which I’d never really do, because I would get sidetracked. Then I found gun runners, and a whole gaggle of randomly random spots.
Disclamer: The UFO crash does not depend on the hours you have played but it depends on your level. That means you can have +50 hours in a playthrough and be lever 16 (wich is very unlikley) and the UFO will not be there.
I don't know if you made a video on it or not always but one of the locations I greatly enjoyed, even though it lasted for a short amount of time, was the FMS Northern Star.
At East City Downs if you kill all the raiders and go up to the second story of the building in the southeast part of the racetrack you can kill a man with a key. Then you can control the robots, turn off their hostility mode, and even release 2 more robots into the race, one which is a protectron
the one with the rockets is a reference to the quest come fly with me in fallout new vegas you can tell cause the third rocket and 3rd missle have the same messed up trajectory
By the way there is a hot rod magazine and i think 6 fusion cores in the death maze. And quick tip: save your game before you encounter the 2 cell doors.
I remember a random encounter with a man approaching a bunker entrance in the ground. You need to be careful though, as it explodes when he approaches it. I don't remember where it was, and I don't know what's inside.
The UFO actually is a random encounter that only happens after you've reached level 20 and are in the city area near diamond city or other areas like bunker hill and Cabot house.
What about Hugo's hole. It is a marked location but I suspect most people pass right by it since there are loads of radiation and it is kind of confusing. I find it quite interesting.
I'm only just discovering fallout. Since around june/July. I bought '76, last week. Not realising it's not playable offline. Quite a ditty way to treat the fans, imho. But I will go and play the others, too.
With the UFO it doesn't take a few hours. I completed 'The First Step' and then went to Cambridge except I went past the Brahmins and rad scorpion and next to the buildings and I heard it.
Im just finding mass bay medical center on my second play through. That whole area has so much idk how i missed it. Maybe its because its hard to distinguish the solid map markers for areas you’ve discovered and unhighlighted areas for areas you have yet to discover. I still feel stupid because its not a small location.
yes, there's a tiny shack that's in the top left corner of the map when you exit the vault. there isn't much in there, only caps and stuff, but still it took me awhile to spot it.
actually at the robo race track you can find a computer on the boss room and from the console you can choose what the robot should do..there is i think 3 or 4 option and i choose Self Destroy :D
+Fredy Rommy yea, I chose to have them turn on everyone, and kill, and after a few mins of watching that fun I had them blow up. cause they started targeting me.
Fredy Rommy yeah there is a mission there. I had to kill there leader, I hacked all the robots and made them attack the raiders whilst I went and kicked the leaders ass. Came back to find parts galore and only one bot left intact.
The mothership quest in 3 was badass i hope they do a third connector hidden quest in fallout 5 and make it its own complete side story. Shit like that is why i love fallout.
I left a like because of a few things... you didn't title the video 10 things you missed in fallout. You instead say may have missed which is nice that you didn't try to mislead anyone. Also I didn't know about the cat shack or the makeshift missile launching site and that's awesome.
All but the sub and the cat settler. I don't know about the moonshiner because a lot of things exploded in my play through. Most were not on purpose like the rockets
How you found that spot in Diamond City is beyond me, unless you were looking for a proper pathway to get that damn MILA weather center up that Tinker Tom keeps getting you to put up! I swear it took me forever to find a way up for the 2nd MILA quest that was located on the abandoned train car on top of the bridge. Dude is tweeked.
Moonshiners shack explosion is a reference to RDR's exploding moonshiners shack as to when you approach the shack it explodes as well....................
The vault tech rep guy died just after i met him. He went outside Good Neighbourhood after I invited him over to Sanctuary Hills and got caught up in a fight between 2 different fractions. Poor guy. I felt bad after that.
There was A sinkhole in A spot of the game. Once you go near it, A friendly deathclaw will appear. If you go into the sinkhole you will be met with ferals And some loot.
+Adrienne T I did that quest too, fucking Museum of Witchcraft, y u got to be so creepy? Anyway, for me a deathclaw came from behind a car or something and attacked a bloodbug (it came after I opned a steamer trunk). After that he/she just acted totaly casual And didn't attack me. I then went into the sinkhole.
Friendly? Crud, guess only one friendly one I have is I brought the egg back. Still friendly to this day. Been a year, did find out it wasn’t friendly on different play through but perhaps can be friendly if you put the egg in the nest?
Lol, I think I found the moonshiner's shack the other day but survival mode made me run as far away from the explosion as possible. Never know when you might run into a gunner with a fat man.
You can blow up the racetrack if you hack the computer in the racetrack lobby. First, however, I would change the robots' track path and targeting so they can dispose of the raiders while you sit in the lobby and watch the fun.
I rather betheda made a new Fallout 4 dlc then fallout 76.
Just play fo4 with mods it's better than 76 by far 😉
There's is a lot of new stuff betheda could improve in fallout 4, like fix Danse conversations after leave BoS, a flight system management (like have your own flight), a true "diamond city house" (instead of the trash selled in diamond city), trash removal for settlements, real defense values for settlements (because the defense is the same with a settler with a pipe pistol and a settler with heavy armor and gattling minigun) and a harder difficulity (like no power armor available), they can add or improve some dialogs to add a more realistic conversation, karma system and raiders and gunners as a faction to join.... a lot of things i think.

@Kurecore Kurecore ...and the fridges in Fallout 4 don't cost $7 real world money.
The funny thing about the vault salesman guy is that he acts like he wanted them to let him into the vault after 200 years, but he would most likely be dead due to the cryogenic chamber failure
How would he know about that though? Only the scientists and Overseer knew the full details of the planned experiments.
The Sole Survivor could have mentioned something about the failing cryo chambers, maybe?
Derek Mebius
Right. Tell him he is lucky to be alive at all and immortal?... Cant beat that.

Huge main story spoilers!

Need to make sure you pack clean shorts, when you get to the top.
neil young too easy to cheese it though. A deathclaw is big. Fighting them in close quarters is easy. There's always a room they can't fit into.

I got 2000 fusion cells that way, I made a snack, made some coffee and voila I would have plenty of ammo for the Righteous Authority
I accidentally ran into something call sanctuary hills it's a rare encountered
I get what you did there.
:o
did I hear harambe?
I ran into this super rare encounter, it's called, "The Castle"
Th castle is actually rare because lots of people hate Preston and the location only appears when you have got the quest for it
Why should I do all that work to "glitch" into that room when I literally got a Jetpack to get up there?
Jetpack FTW. Don't build settlements without it!
Not enough joice wonts make jt
They need to fix how repetitive the Vault Tech Rep is... he literally says the same thing every time you see him at a settlement :(
Normally I wouldn't care about what he says. But your comment made me think twice about him.

For someone who plays a lot of Fallout 4, your map is surprisingly low on discovered locations.

the alien rifle mod makes the entire alien discovery thing so much cooler
The part when he talked about the anti gravity cats killed me.

The “glitch Room”. As you’ve always been able to fit jet packs to your power armour, the Glitch room has always been accessible.
